Trash collection that takes your money and doesn't take your trash. We're in a new community that has had houses for at least a year now, but our addresses don't show up in their system. We've been paying for survive for almost a month now. They've come for trash once and have never come for recycling. This is what happens when you let the lowest bidder have a monopoly on something. And don't bother looking on their web site for a contact number. If your address doesn't work you can't find a number. This company is a total scam and should be investigated by the county

Our bulk drivers, Dago & Sir Isaac, are THE best!!! We always have tons of crap on bulk days, and this crew is fantastic! They're friendly, and they always get all of our trash. I'm impressed with their work ethic and appreciate the service they provide our street and this community. Thank you, Republic!!

Whovever drives/pickups in 89143 area, you continue to miss my garbage cans. There are no cars or anything blocking the cans. I am tired of calling to report missed pick ups! You also broke my garbage cans and promised to replace them but I have yet to receive new ones. The HOA keeps hounding me about the cans and I keep calling Republic Services for help. Such a stressful matter for an easy fix. Can anyone help??

Terrible customer service, and horrible billing department as well! The drivers never pick up both of my trash cans, as others here have stated. Are they lazy or they just don't want to do their job? This happens all the time... You are lucky if they pick up your bulk trash as well. I seem to have picked up another part-time job having to constantly call them about my missed trash.

EVERY FRIDAY they fail to pick up both trash cans maybe they pick one up but never both! I’ve called asked nicely time and time again but still it’s 1 can (my neighbors get 2-3 cans picked up from that same truck) it’s getting to the point where I’m going to start blocking the truck untill they do their job correctly…

Every Thursday is trash day and unless it's bulk week the trash is not picked up till 515and on top of it didn't empty my trash can terrible service, please cause now I already have a half of trash can no matter what always have a lot for the bulk trash men.

I’ve been a paying customer of Republic Services for over 20 years, and never in my life have I been so utterly disappointed, frustrated, and disrespected as I have been over the past two weeks. I’m absolutely appalled by the level of service, or rather, the complete lack thereof, I’ve received lately. Twice in the past two weeks, Republic Services has failed to pick up my bulk trash. Let me repeat that, twice I had to go out of my way to call and remind a company that I pay regularly to actually do the job they’re being paid to do. That alone is unacceptable. But what truly pushed me over the edge was the experience I had with one of their customer service representatives. Not only was the woman on the phone unhelpful, but she was also dismissive and borderline insulting. She told me that their team had "passed by" my property but didn’t pick up the trash because it was “too big of a pile” and that bulk pickups are limited to 10 items, boxed properly, of course. Let me be clear: every single item I left out was properly boxed. Nothing was loose, nothing was hazardous, nothing was unmanageable. And even if, by their arbitrary standards, the pile exceeded 10 boxes, then the logical and professional thing to do would’ve been to pick up the allowable amount and leave the rest for the next scheduled pickup. But no, they took the lazy way out and just drove by without touching a single item. To add insult to injury, my next-door neighbor had only three boxes out, and guess what? Their trash wasn’t picked up either. So what’s the excuse for that? Are we just paying for someone to cruise through the neighborhood without doing a damn thing? Because that’s exactly what’s happening. I am beyond furious that after two decades of loyal payments, I’m now being told I can just “take it to the dump myself” if I want it gone. Excuse me? Is that part of the service now? Am I suddenly an unpaid garbage truck driver for my own home? And don’t even get me started on the attitude of the staff. It seems like the crews these days are either too lazy to get out of the truck or simply don’t care about customer satisfaction anymore. I shouldn’t have to argue, beg, or plead for a service that I’ve never missed a payment on. It’s not my job to chase you down and remind you to do yours. What happened to accountability? What happened to taking pride in a job well done? Republic Services used to stand for reliability. Now, it seems they’re just cutting corners and hiding behind vague policies and untrained customer reps who are more focused on excuses than solutions. If this is the “standard” now, it’s shameful. I will be seriously reconsidering my relationship with this company going forward, and I strongly urge others to do the same. Your time, your money, and your sanity deserve better.

2 weeks in a row they have missed my trash. Didn't show up when they said they would to pick up the missed pick up. Missed a whole other trash day. Can't even email them. The bot won't let me report the missed pick up now. The worst customer service ever. UPDATE: I emailed them at the email they responded with below. Still no response from them. My trash was last picked up April 23rd. It is currently may 8th and if they don't do a missed pick up like they told me now for a second time(which was supposed to be picked up today.... ) I will have to wait until May 14th. Almost a month. I'm give them one more day to make this right or I will be making reports through BBB, consumer affairs, and my legislators.

I have been ordering an extra trash can for 5 weeks now and the rep tells me it will be delivered in the next trash p/ up day and it still hasn’t been delivered every week I’ve called for the past 5 weeks and I will continue to call till they deliver it. Very poor customer service

I gave fair warning to them. They WILL STEAL FROM YOU by not providing services that they charge you for. Then make claims they will send some one out the next day to do pick up of trash. Next day never comes. So I'm paying for 8 to 10 pick ups a month depending on how the dates are yet they don't pick up but still charge me full price. THAT IS THEFT PLAIN AND CLEAR. WILL BE SEEKING LEGAL REPRESENTATION AS WELL AS OTHERS TO GO INTO A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.

The website provides guidance on preparing for appliance bulk pickup (remove doors from refrigerators). I did this only to be told they don’t take refrigerators…… had I know I could have put it out, with the doors on, and someone would have taken it…… time to update the web site!

UPDATE: I'm upgrading my review because I see that they have implemented the email updates when service might be delayed. I appreciate that. I hope they would use that same method should they miss your pickup day altogether to tell you when to put your cans back out to be emptied as that was my original issue. We'll have to wait and see. This might be an ever changing review. Miss picking up the trash for the entire street but they don't seem to miss sending the bill. Update: they showed up the next morning which is great except when they do that, there is no notice they are coming for the missed collection. If you happen to have left your trash can out hoping they'll do the right thing and come for the pickup you pay them for, you're good. If you put your can away full of trash, hopefully you're home and hear the truck coming down the street and can get out there fast enough to move your can back out to the curb (yours and your neighbors whose was completely overflowing).

This company acts like a bully and a monopoly. A few years ago, the vagrants in my neighborhood kept lighting my dumpster on fire so I told Republic to remove it so my apartment building didn't get burned down. I told my tenants to use the dumpster at my other building next door but Republic said they'd still have to charge me for the dumpster. I still don't understand this logic so I'll probably have to take them to court or find another trash company.

The guys that pick up the trash in my complex are the laziest guys I've ever seen. If the trash comes out if the large bins when they lift them up on the truck they just leave the trash everywhere. They don't close the gates to the trash area, they just leave them wide open. For the amount of money these guys make you would think they could at least do their jobs.

1/20/2025 Called spoke with an agent. Here is the situation, someone’s trash can is setting behide our retaining wall.called want Republic to pick it up didn’t have to be today. Told by the Agent the owner of the can must be contacted. What the heck….if I knew who the owner is there would not to an issue. A suggestion was made to contact the city of NLV…… An exact address must be provided, then a bill would be issued to me. Again what the heck..

On my 5th inquiry about RS missed pickup last Wednesday. Each inquiry response—apologies with a promise a truck would be by no later than 6 pm that day. It’s 5 days later. Bulk item still at the curb. Lots of words and promises. No action.

This company keeps missing our bulk trash pick up days. They skip our whole subdivision. Many of us call, and we are told they will come back out on a specific day and they never come out. Our HOA is getting mad.

So BULK day pick up was today 4/1/24 and I put out some shower doors which are made of tempered glass and the Republic employee threw them in the back of the garbage truck and of course they shattered leaving glass all over the street, had I not seen it on camera I would have wondered how it happened. Republic Services, give your employees some training and make them feel like it was there house they were doing this at and I’m sure they would leave it better than they found it. Truck #1329 As I can see from the current rating they don’t seem to care, they’re a necessity so not to worried about customer service. EDIT: So apparently anything glass like a shower door should be wrapped in cardboard which I had learned from the Republic representative, which was also said they shouldn’t have taken it. Just an FYI make sure you wrap it just like you would if it was a mattress which you are supposed to wrap in plastic.

There's nothing wrong with the office. What's wrong is that today is our bulk pick up. I literally watched the workers pick up all the small trash & drive right past my full mattress. Like seriously. So I call & what do you know. I got the after-hours service. The truck is still in my neighborhood. Get them back to my home. 11/21 Thank you, Republic Services. They came out Monday morning & grabbed my bulk pick up. That was so quick. I was waiting for a call back Monday but your guys picked it up before the office is open. Thank you thank you

I went to the Henderson location to drop off my bulk trash on Sunday November 19th 2023. I arrived at 2:40 pm and got in line with my truck and trailer. At 3:00 a lady in front of Me got out of her Republic service truck and said that she cut the line off at 2:30 because they close at 3:00PM. She told me she was a supervisor and her name was Ariana. If your in line before 3:00 you have the right to dump your trash regardless of how busy they are. I will be filing a complaint

They actually steal money. I get overages all the time charged to my bill. When I call wity the picture attached to the neighbors building. The lady Brianna Gordon goes my name should not be on letter. You’re forced to have their service and nothing you can really do except court. I hope one day a class action against this company is organized for false fees. Brianna Gordon if you’re not the one who name is suppose to be on notices get another job. Horrible. Company. Horrible service.

This happens every damn time when the trash gets picked up. They leave the trash bins out… another car and I can’t get out with so little room to back out of our car port. It’s not any one’s job to push them bins back but the trash workers that are lazy to do their job.

This review if for Nikita Roberts, the Customer Service Manager at Republic Services who was the only person at Republic Services who was able to resolve my issue. My trash was not picked up, nor was any trash on our side of the street on our designated day (Tues). I called on Wed and was promised it would be picked up later that day or the next day (Thurs). It was not picked up. I called a third time (Fri) requesting a manager. My trash was picked up later that day thanks to Nikita Roberts. I truly appreciated the courteous, professional and timely response Nikita exhibited handling my situation. What an awesome employee.

after ruining the Trash designated can with the pickup fork, it has now been 5 weeks without a delivery for a replacement can/container. property is 1 & 1/4 ac. in size, so landscapers need a can to fill without everything leaking out the vertical slash in the can!! unbelievable incompetence & this is what happens when Clark County Commissioners allowed Republic to renew their 20 year exclusive agreement without inviting competitive bids from other large trash companies like Waste Management( 2 years prior to the end of the 20 year exclusive contract).. With no chance of losing customers they provide terrible customer service! Also we had 2x week pickups in past and now have the ridiculous ‘recycling’ nonsense & we know no one buys our recycled materials bc that industry failed, but we are forced to pretend it still happens?! a complete scam as we now pay more for less service and a number of the employees were fired bc now only need one person to operate the automated pickup trash trucks! if i could give zero stars i would do so!!!

We are new to the area, only one month. We were happy to find out that every two weeks there is a bulk pickup. We thought, "great, with all of our boxes, we'll have no problem." Two bulk pickups and no problem. This week? No pick up. I called on our garbage pickup day to report it. The woman on the phone said there was no notice on her end as to why our boxes weren't picked up. She said someone would be out in the next two days. Today...nothing. I called again to confirm. The guy I spoke with asked about the bulk pickup material. I told him that it was just boxes. He asked if the boxes were broken down and flattened. Some were some had the packing papers and tape in them. He said all boxes need to be flattened and packing materials put in bags. "First, where does it say that? And second, why when I called yesterday was there no mention of it? And third, why did they take it the past two bulk weeks?" "I'm sorry, your next bulk week is in two weeks." Thank you Republic for setting the poor service bar so high, it can't get much worse for a new resident. UPDATE: A very helpful and courteous waste haul driver came by as I was breaking down boxes and graciously took the remainder of my boxes as is. I was extremely grateful.

Over the last 6 months they’ve skipped picking up and removing my trash from the cans I placed out in the streets by the curb the night before scheduled trash pick up at least once or twice a month!!!! I’ve had to call multiple times, they promised they will pick it up before 6pm but they never do!!!! I’ve requested to speak to/have a manager call me back, they've make broken promises that they will have a manager call me back but never happens!!!! This is the worst trash removal company I’ve ever experienced, and I'm also upset that over the years at the same address, my service fee costs have almost doubled! Also we went from having 2 scheduled trash pick up days a week to only 1 day! They had only 1 simple job and they can’t even do that right! I wish there was a another option for a different trash company in Las Vegas, but just like the Electric company Nevada Energy that loves to raise all our electric service rates randomly, Republic Services is the only sad garbage removal service available the residences are forced to use and pay for!!!!! So pathetic!!!!!

Saturday morning 11/12/2022 they came to take the trash and we’re soo rough that they broke both my trash bins. They are going to definitely replace my bins that they broke. Can you please do your job properly.
