Never notified us of any bill FOR 11 YEARS! AMAZING I get notified of my bill and p.o.s. lawyer has No problem contacting me. ################ PEOPLE, my new court date is 9.11 at 9am in 16a. Come voice your nightmare! ############# I TRIED TO PAY AND ALL THEY WANT IS MY HOME! I HAVE TO FIGHT THIS B.S. IN COURT! ...................... SEPTEMBER 11at 9am COURT 16A . SOMEBODY SEE THIS AND HELP. ..................... IM DISABLED AND MY WIFE IS FIGHTING CANCER. THESE PEOPLE ARE CRUEL AND IMMORAL. YOUR STUPID LAWYER HAS 6523.18 IN CHECK AND WONT ACCEPT IT.

Saturday morning 11/12/2022 they came to take the trash and we’re soo rough that they broke both my trash bins. They are going to definitely replace my bins that they broke. Can you please do your job properly.

This happens every damn time when the trash gets picked up. They leave the trash bins out… another car and I can’t get out with so little room to back out of our car port. It’s not any one’s job to push them bins back but the trash workers that are lazy to do their job.

Miss picking up the trash for the entire street but they don't seem to miss sending the bill. Update: they showed up the next morning which is great except when they do that, there is no notice they are coming for the missed collection. If you happen to have left your trash can out hoping they'll do the right thing and come for the pickup you pay them for, you're good. If you put your can away full of trash, hopefully you're home and hear the truck coming down the street and can get out there fast enough to move your can back out to the curb (yours and your neighbors whose was completely overflowing).

This review if for Nikita Roberts, the Customer Service Manager at Republic Services who was the only person at Republic Services who was able to resolve my issue. My trash was not picked up, nor was any trash on our side of the street on our designated day (Tues). I called on Wed and was promised it would be picked up later that day or the next day (Thurs). It was not picked up. I called a third time (Fri) requesting a manager. My trash was picked up later that day thanks to Nikita Roberts. I truly appreciated the courteous, professional and timely response Nikita exhibited handling my situation. What an awesome employee.

We are new to the area, only one month. We were happy to find out that every two weeks there is a bulk pickup. We thought, "great, with all of our boxes, we'll have no problem." Two bulk pickups and no problem. This week? No pick up. I called on our garbage pickup day to report it. The woman on the phone said there was no notice on her end as to why our boxes weren't picked up. She said someone would be out in the next two days. Today...nothing. I called again to confirm. The guy I spoke with asked about the bulk pickup material. I told him that it was just boxes. He asked if the boxes were broken down and flattened. Some were some had the packing papers and tape in them. He said all boxes need to be flattened and packing materials put in bags. "First, where does it say that? And second, why when I called yesterday was there no mention of it? And third, why did they take it the past two bulk weeks?" "I'm sorry, your next bulk week is in two weeks." Thank you Republic for setting the poor service bar so high, it can't get much worse for a new resident. UPDATE: A very helpful and courteous waste haul driver came by as I was breaking down boxes and graciously took the remainder of my boxes as is. I was extremely grateful.

I called REPUBLIC SERVICE to down size the trash container, they charged me 169.00 to be able to lock it. 76.92 to pick up the container and 76.92 to drop off one So an extra $322.99 to down size trash cans.... This is pretty unacceptable. I'm actually in shock that this is actually legal to gouge someone like this.

There's nothing wrong with the office. What's wrong is that today is our bulk pick up. I literally watched the workers pick up all the small trash & drive right past my full mattress. Like seriously. So I call & what do you know. I got the after-hours service. The truck is still in my neighborhood. Get them back to my home. 11/21 Thank you, Republic Services. They came out Monday morning & grabbed my bulk pick up. That was so quick. I was waiting for a call back Monday but your guys picked it up before the office is open. Thank you thank you

I went to the Henderson location to drop off my bulk trash on Sunday November 19th 2023. I arrived at 2:40 pm and got in line with my truck and trailer. At 3:00 a lady in front of Me got out of her Republic service truck and said that she cut the line off at 2:30 because they close at 3:00PM. She told me she was a supervisor and her name was Ariana. If your in line before 3:00 you have the right to dump your trash regardless of how busy they are. I will be filing a complaint

I’m sick and tired of these people. They keep missing my pick up and it’s a whole ordeal to have them come back to pick it up. The guy who picks it up has an attitude from hell too. Then you call and you’re literally almost an hour waiting before they answer, the most annoying part is the stupid survey they want you to take at the end of the call based “only” on the service provided by the representative. I don’t GAF about their nice service, you already had me waiting for an hour and you keep missing my pick ups. That’s what the survey should be all about! EDIT AFTER RESPONSE FROM REPUBLIC SERVICES: Is that a generic response? Instead of addressing the issue you apologize publicly like if that’s going to do anything, as of now, I still have the trash out there, NO ONE came to pick it up and no one contacted me. You all need competition so that you can step up your ridiculous game.

***Update****09-16-2023: Once again missed pick up despite notifying and requesting pick up and lid replacement for a lid that Republic Services broke off themselves. Missed Pick Up this past Tuesday 09-12-2023. *** As consumers, we pay for services and have the right to expect a service to be completed. My rubbish was not picked up today on 08-29-2023 Tuesday - again. Clearly, their motto is anything but honesty and job completion. Rubbish is picked up whenever they please or whoever they please, bins are destroyed/broken, and rubbish is littered onto the streets as usual. This is not the first time this has happened and it happens regularly. One may call or write to complain about these things only for it to fall on deaf ears and repeat the process again. It is a service we are paying for nothing. Why charge your consumers if you as a company are not following through with your end of the bargain and completing/providing the service fully?

So this morning it was bulk pick up in zip code 89135. The lovely gentleman who came to collect were the definition of lazy, low life individuals who likes to get paid for not doing their job. I heard one of them saying to the other that he does not feel like picking up black bin bags whilst the other one responded"Leave it "..I'm sure he feels like taking money but when it comes to work it's the opposite. My question is why are we paying republic services when we customers have to sort out the mess, and figure out where to dispose it. Shame on Republic Services. You have the zip code and today is friday the 5th of April which means Republic Services can easily verify who was working on the route. I don't want a lousy "we apologise" take action.

They actually steal money. I get overages all the time charged to my bill. When I call wity the picture attached to the neighbors building. The lady Brianna Gordon goes my name should not be on letter. You’re forced to have their service and nothing you can really do except court. I hope one day a class action against this company is organized for false fees. Brianna Gordon if you’re not the one who name is suppose to be on notices get another job. Horrible. Company. Horrible service.

Las Vegas is a place that feels a lot like a Hollywood movie set where things “appear” real but nothing actually functions they way it’s supposed to. I’m from the Bay Area and being from California we are used to a basic standard of service and at least a base level of competence, especially from public services. Las Vegas is a city where everything is haphazardly done, from the actual construction of buildings to any kind of service you would need. For example, never in my life would I have thought it would take a trash/recycle company over one month to pick up a misplaced recycle bin left by my property. It took about 20 phone calls, 15 customers service reps, and five supervisors in order to orchestrate the pick up of one bin, in the process my bins being taken by mistake due to “internal miscommunication” all over a recycle bin that mysteriously appears by my property. Now, I will have to repeat this process all over again because just the next week a new (extra) trash can has mysteriously appeared on my property once more. Meanwhile I am am getting slammed with violations from my HOA. It honestly feels like the city is trolling me at this point.

The gentlemen who drive the pickup trucks in the Vistas area of Summerlin are friendly and hard working. Many times my husband and I have seen them get our of their trucks to quickly sweep up debris due to residents having bins so overflowing that the lids can not close at all. Remind residents that it is our responsibility to push trash down so lids close. That is what prevents broken glass and debris all over the streets.

Recently moved locally and the previous owner had the small bins which are inadequate for our family. I have called Republic Services for the past month trying to have the small bins replaced with the larger bins to no avail. I’ve spoken with staff and allegedly “supervisors” both of which promised on our trash pick up date that would happen…which it obviously hasn’t. Unfortunately as with all monopolies in business, they lack customer service skills and they literally don’t care about customers. I have no solution other than to refuse payment until they bring the larger bins. If Republic Services had a competing waste management business they would definitely file for bankruptcy. Republic Services is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with in any community I’ve ever lived in.

These people are a piece of trash, my recycle has NOT BEEN PICKUP for almost a month now and every time I call it’s the same response am getting, we’re putting a claim for they should pick it up the end of day and NOTHING…. They have no problem taking my money for services they can’t provide… wait until I start throwing my recycle in the street it’s gonna be a problem though.

Have had service since 2001 trucks have always shown up. When trash cans have damage one call does it all and walla it the can is replaced. Bulk days are amazing on what they are allowed to take. People on the and in the trucks have always been friendly. Only writing this review because say one star review compalining it took a year and half to get a trash can replaced. I would ask did you make a can or just wait the your trash man to notice your can needed replacement.

after ruining the Trash designated can with the pickup fork, it has now been 5 weeks without a delivery for a replacement can/container. property is 1 & 1/4 ac. in size, so landscapers need a can to fill without everything leaking out the vertical slash in the can!! unbelievable incompetence & this is what happens when Clark County Commissioners allowed Republic to renew their 20 year exclusive agreement without inviting competitive bids from other large trash companies like Waste Management( 2 years prior to the end of the 20 year exclusive contract).. With no chance of losing customers they provide terrible customer service! Also we had 2x week pickups in past and now have the ridiculous ‘recycling’ nonsense & we know no one buys our recycled materials bc that industry failed, but we are forced to pretend it still happens?! a complete scam as we now pay more for less service and a number of the employees were fired bc now only need one person to operate the automated pickup trash trucks! if i could give zero stars i would do so!!!

My experience with Republic Services has been incredibly disappointing. From the moment I opened my account with them, I have encountered a series of issues that have hindered my ability to access my online account and make payments effectively. The payment system and several features of my account do not function properly, resulting in my payments being repeatedly returned. This has created a significant hygiene crisis in my home, causing great inconvenience and frustration. Furthermore, I discovered that Republic Services had incorrect personal information associated with my account. Not only was the account linked to someone in California, but my address in Las Vegas also displayed the name of an individual from California. This level of carelessness and incompetence in maintaining accurate customer records is unacceptable. Overall, my experience with Republic Services has been marked by constant problems, unresponsive customer service, and a lack of attention to detail. I have made numerous attempts to resolve these issues, but my concerns have been met with indifference and ineffective solutions. I strongly advise against choosing Republic Services for waste management needs. Their inability to provide reliable online account access, process payments correctly, and ensure consistent garbage collection demonstrates a lack of professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction. I hope that by sharing my experience, others can make informed decisions when selecting a waste management service and avoid the frustration and inconvenience I have endured with Republic Services.

Our trash pick up day is Thursdays. It was not picked up this week. Called same day and was promised it will be picked up Friday morning first thing. Came home at 2 pm trash was still here, called again and talked to Tom about the issue. He apologized and confirmed it would be picked up this morning( Saturday) . Guess what , it's now 2 o'clock and the trash is still here. Not very happy at all with service. Office is closed now until Monday😡😡

Over the last 6 months they’ve skipped picking up and removing my trash from the cans I placed out in the streets by the curb the night before scheduled trash pick up at least once or twice a month!!!! I’ve had to call multiple times, they promised they will pick it up before 6pm but they never do!!!! I’ve requested to speak to/have a manager call me back, they've make broken promises that they will have a manager call me back but never happens!!!! This is the worst trash removal company I’ve ever experienced, and I'm also upset that over the years at the same address, my service fee costs have almost doubled! Also we went from having 2 scheduled trash pick up days a week to only 1 day! They had only 1 simple job and they can’t even do that right! I wish there was a another option for a different trash company in Las Vegas, but just like the Electric company Nevada Energy that loves to raise all our electric service rates randomly, Republic Services is the only sad garbage removal service available the residences are forced to use and pay for!!!!! So pathetic!!!!!

I have to say something. I appreciate that they come every week to collect. However, my neighbors and I take responsibility to recycle. When they collect, they dump the recycling bin with the rest of the trash. I have called 4 times and they assured me that there was a separate truck to collect recycling but I have witnessed over and over that's not the case. I am upset and disappointedt hat this is not taken more seriously.

We had just moved in and put all the empty boxes and trash out on the curb. Mind you, it rained the night before but if it's your job to take trash... just take it. Don't leave piles of trash that YOU didn't want to pick up. God forbid you actually do your job instead of making people pick up stuff you didn't want to break your back to pick up. I should get paid for the job YOU didn't want to do. They broke glass, left trash and items everywhere to blow in the wind. Our SUPERINTENDENT went around and picked up all the blowing trash because they were lazy

Nothing good to say about this company. They keep missing my pickup and even after reporting and speaking with a supervisor who promised us to send back the truck in 24 hours no one ever came. It doesn’t happened at least once a month and no one !! But when you miss one payment for republic services They will charge late fees right away- maybe they should start paying us too

I always use their receptacle service. It is by far the cleanest easiest solution for me. Great service and equally as good employees. Keep up the great work republic services Las Vegas. I’m so sorry to hear about the Stephen Paddock situation from October 1, 2017, very sad day but you are all so happy and I am happy for you

I lived in San Francisco and this company is amazing. Honestly people in Vegas don’t know how good they have it. They will pick up yards of trash for free every other week. This would cost hundreds of dollars and you would have to go to the dump in other cities. And they give you 96 gallons trash cans! That would be like $300 a month in most big cities. I was paying $145 for 45 gallon can. Here there is literally no difference in rate for larger cans. Republic services answers the phone quickly and is very helpful. The rating here I think is because people just don’t take the time to write good reviews for garbage pick up. The only time they write is when something goes wrong.
