Just showed up at 3:45 and was very rudely told by the girl as she drove away that that is what time they close, not 4:00 as their listing says. Now I'm out the gas for driving here and im stuck with a trailer full of scrap and nowhere to take it until tomorrow.
The prices may not but the highest around but the service and hospitality are above no other. I love these guys would never consider going any where else.
Dude with cowboy boots was very helpful especially for a city girl like me that knows absolutely no clue about scraping... But i really enjoyed learning the difference on metals and prices.. thanks Ashley Schofield..
Had too unload 300 pounds of alliuminum by myself.Other than that they payed 10 cents more a pound than TGR in reedsprings.So for that i give them a good rating
I pulled up about 4:10 pm in my pick up truck full of metal. I thought they closed around 5 pm but it was closed at 4pm. They told me that they were closed. But then they went ahead & unloaded my truck. They even let me drive on the scale. Don't be shocked by how messy the scrape yard is. It makes me want to walk through it to look for some cool things. Are they totally professional? No. But I don't think they need to be. They are very warm and friendly!
We pulled up and saw the scales down by 2 points..brought in at least 15lbs of aluminum 4lbs of #1&2 copper along with miscellaneous steel..walked out with 5 LOUSY$!!!! THESE PPL ARE THIEVES..WE KNOW BECAUSE WE HAD OUR OWN SCRAP YARD BUSINESS IN THE STATE OF TEXAS...IF U R SCRAPPING WE SINCERELY SUGEST THE YARD IN REEDS SPRING. THEY ARE REOPENING THIS MONDAY..
I went there Saturday and they took so long to take my weight of my scrap and they had a kid running around like it's a playground. And they only paid me 3
cents a pound on scarp. And when I was waiting to get weighed the second time the worker was out side talking to friend's instead of working. I wouldn't ever recommend that place
Awesome people will come back more often very respectful employees (the young teen most definitely) she is doing an awesome job she deserves a raise keep up the great work lol miss
This recycling place advertised online that they paid .45 per pound. We went there and even showed them their website and they said they only paid .30 per pound. These people are thieves.
Just moved here a year ago and it was the first place I started using. No need for me to go anywhere else they are very friendly answered all my questions about separating my stuff and good prices. And the dog they have is very friendly. So in all they care for your business a great deal.
I love this place! They are always fair on the prices they pay you and have always treated me like a friend. Its hard to find a good family run business anymore. I will be back for sure!! And bonus, they have a junk store to so ya can take stuff home if your a pack rat like me... :-)
