I hired Al’s salvage yard to replace the windshield in my vehicle. I arrived a bit early for my appointment and within one hour or less my little SUV was the. The staff is always professional friendly and the price was well within my budget.
Great service and plenty of parts & affordable. Royce and Lamont at the counter and do a great job. St. Louis legend operating for over 50 years. Check it out if you need parts they pull them for you. You don’t even get dirty lol. Thanks guys for my latest items here!

He helped us out and was so nice and caring and did exactly what he said, and he took the time to make sure of everything so that there weren't any issues, unlike other businesses that I had dealt with this week. I called several places to verify if they had a part and then drove to those places after I was told they had it only to get there and wait and them to tell me they don't have it....mind you I'm driving an hour out. So talk about aggravating as hot as it is with no ac......then I called Al's and got Royce and he also told me that they had it in stock but I wasted so much time with running to these other places that I wouldnt make it in time before they closed. BUT ROYCE went above and beyond. He had me pay for it online and called me several times and set up a place for me to come after hours and pick it up....but when I pulled up after they was closed I was beyond shocked when the young man waited for me and even handed me the package. Very friendly and talk about AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! SO ANYONE NEEDING PARTS DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH OTHERS...JUST CALL ALS AND ASK FOR ROYCE AND TRUST ME HE WONT DO YOU WRONG!!!! I WILL DEFINITELY TAKE THE TRIP FOR MY PARTS FROM HERE ON OUT!!!!
Overall great experience working with this company. I purchased a headlight after talking with Todd, he even sent pictures showing the condition. Had a slight issue during installation and he did everything possible to make it right- greatly appreciated. 10/10 recommend!

Needed a wheel for a Maxima. I very much appreciated Cameron's customer service by getting and sending photos of the wheel for my approval. Shipment was fast, and the wheel appears to be in better condition than I expected.

Needed my windshield replaced so I paid for it the day before and set my appointment for the next day. The next day I was in and out and windshield replaced within 30 minutes. Good customer service.
My window was busted at a local spot. A few people were unfortunately victims of such this Night. I called Al's bright and early. They didn't have the window for my foreign car they told me that Brocks Auto Salvage had my window. They gave me the number and I called and went and picked up the window. Called Al's back. And they had initially told me that they wouldn't be able to fit me in till Monday. Today is Friday. I went to go pay for the service and they were able to get me in TODAY! $75 to install the window. I paid $95 for the window at Brocks. It's the heart of winter and on behind thankful they took care of me wirh no issue's. Clean waiting area. Helpful employees they made this awful incident a breeze to handle.in less than 24 hours I was back in business!
I’ve been getting the run around for about a week now I paid for a transmission and Danny said it was picked up by the carrier I call the carrier and they assure me that they haven’t picked it up also was given a tracking number that doesn’t exist every day I call Danny tells me another lie I spoke with a woman at Al’s today hopefully she can fix the situation but so far this definitely is the worst online experience I’ve ever had.
This place is horrible. I used to shop here many years and within the las4 year service and parts are terrible. 3/5 of the last engines they sold me were bad which caused repeated labor. The last one purchased was bad and they did not honor after I called immediately after replacing letting them know it was bad. If you want to save yourself time, money and frustration do not deal with this place.
I have utstanding experience with Al's used parts and windshield replacement, called for price on new windshield in town and they were best price and installation were pretty good price and very fast timing. Awesome job, tanks Al's.
I drove 4 hours away from my hometown to AI’s Auto Salvage to get my sunroof and windshield fixed the service was so nice friendly and fast. Camron was the absolute best from the time I called in to book the appointment to the time I came in. Thank you all so much I was searching for almost a year for both glasses due to them being on backorder and expensive from the dealership but Als Auto Salvage had the best price and the glass!!! Oh my goodness yall, when I say In was in a bind I was IN A BIND! I was passing through town on a cross country road trip and came in with a destroyed rim from on of these St Louis Potholes™ and Al's came in clutch. Cameron was extremely helpful and got me a rim in no time flat and we were all set with almost no delay! Thank you Al for running such a well oiled machine!
I meant to share this but a few months ago I needed a windshield replacement and I was NOT trying to overspend if I didn’t have to, and low and behold I was told about this great establishment with excellent customer service. They gave me a quote, and I made my payment and it was handled just as quoted. Haven’t had one issue with my windshield and I’m grateful.
Struggled to getting a two-piece driveshaft for my Challenger, found one here at Al's for $450 under new price with less than 5,000 mi on it, they had the part pulled in 2 days and ready for me and it is perfect, the guys were great. Service was great. Atmosphere is great, if I need any more parts this will be the first place I look.
I just ordered a transmission for my 2015 Chevy Impala from them so far so good with the delivery and customer service I experienced and at the fraction of the cost from other dealerships and mechanics.Al saved me over $1200 of which I don’t have due to financial set back after having to stop working after my car broke down. I called to see if they had the part and was told yes and the price was correct as I’m located in South Carolina to have it shipped to me. The process was easy and the payment was smooth. Was skeptical about giving my card info over the phone but the guy I talked to was nice and told me what I had to do through email to pay for it and it went great. Order it on 6/07/2022 and he let me know upfront that they test it before shipment so it was shipped out on 6/09/2022 through FedEx The mechanic shop received it on 6/16/2022 after a rescheduled delivery change by FedEx. Asked him did everything check out he said yes so far only a minor issues which was a bolt that can easily be replace by him. Hoping everything runs well and fine after he puts it in. But as far as Customer Service, Shipment and handling Al’s get 5 stars from me. From your friend from South Carolina Thank you!
If I could give them 0 stars I would. Just the worst customer service. We went through a two day ordeal that ultimately ended with us demanding and receiving our money back! I DO NOT recommend. They are so rude, inconsiderate, & unapologetic.
Went in paid for a driver door, they told me 2 hrs. which turned into 24 hrs. I called after 8 hrs of waiting just to a sales rep with an attitude. Then called again at 4:30 just for them to oh it will be next day. Came next day to pick up door it was the wrong one as well as the wrong color. I’m so shocked that the internet hasn’t run this company out of business. I mean how could it possibly take 2days to take off a door with 4 screws .
I been going here for years but yesterday they were beyond disrespectful. I get there 3 minutes before they close after getting off work to pay for the window. I get in there and the rep asked what I needed and told me the balance. As I’m getting ready to pay she then says we’re closed and turned off the computer. It’s 4:58. If you don’t respect your customers or my business I’ll just take my money elsewhere there are plenty of other junkyards out there.
Called on November 11th and paid for a headlight they had available. Asked for it to be shipped since we were unable to get there during their business hours. Sure, no problem. Headlight did not show up and did not show up, so after being pulled over figured it was time to track it. Called back on the 19th and was told they were backed up and had not had a chance to ship it out yet and had since sold it. No call was made telling me the headlight was no longer available. No apology was given. It was no big deal to them because it was not them out anything. The situation as well as the poor customer service is beyond frustrating.
