I had a truck that broke down on the Evs bridge Illinois State tow truck the big green ones pushed it to route 3 exit on the corner then it ran out of air they called Platinum tow truck came out cost me $900 go less than a 3/4 of a mile told me because the police called them that there was an emergency fee just another way to charge you ridiculous prices to tow something Way to kick the small guy when they're already down I got two trucks not like I have a fleet.
After my roadside assistance tow truck never showed up (waited hours and no one answers the phone), we called Platinum Towing and they came quickly and he was so amazing, understanding, and compassionate. All on a busy street. I cannot be more pleased with Platinum Towing! I can't say thank you enough to them for the complete understanding and coming to my aid after I had already been stranded for hours.
We just moved $230 million dollars worth of cars in and out of the St. Louis art museum, and Platinum handled the movement from the semi‘s to the door of the building. They were absolutely first class, top shelf and as good as they get in the business. Ryan was a huge asset and honestly, we probably couldn’t have done it this seamless without him. Whether you’re moving a Ford bronco or a Ferrari this company is as good as it gets.
I called the company to report a driver riding my tail end on hwy I-44 heading towards republic Missouri and the dispatcher I spoke to was very rude telling me I was making false claims because I was going 80 down the hwy and his driver was less than 2 car links away from me road raging honking his horn and flipping me off while we were passing traffic in the fast lane
I turned off on the exit because I didn’t feel safe and when I called to let someone know what was going on all he could reassure me is that I was a lier because their trucks top out at 80 mph
I hope one day it’s not your family’s life that’s in danger by a big rig road rager hauling another large vehicle
Great family owned business growing rapidly. Not how I wanted to use them but we all went to a truck show & we blew a engine on the way & Tyler as a good friend of mine came to the rescue & gave me a chance for him to prove to us what they stand for. Professionalism, Excellence, Safety, & most of all treating our vehicle as if it was their own. Will definitely use them again anytime we have a similar issue which I hope we never. While I have never had my personal vehicle towed by Platinum Towing, I was stuck on a side street this morning waiting for an accident involving a school bus that was hit by another vehicle to be cleared. While I was stuck, I watched the tow truck driver from Platinum work miracles to get this bus maneuvered on the ice-coated road at Dewey & Itaska. The bus sustained no additional damage, and the road signs & fire hydrant were still in place when the bus was finally cleared. It was truly impressive to see.

Called at 10:30 in the morning on a Friday to have my truck towed said it would be an hour to get there. At 6:00 pm at night they called and told me they wouldn't be able to tow it! To busy.....told me to find someone else to tow my truck. They didn't have the time.....Left me stranded and totally screwed me over the weekend very unreliable can't be trusted. Wouldn't trust them to tow a tricycle.
Locked myself out and the guy got here way faster than I expected, accidentally made them wait on me a bit because I didn't pay attention, then he was able to get into my car faster than anyone I've seen before.
Our semi truck got stuck on Interstate 44, about 30 miles away from them, and it was quite a rainy day. I called up, and Bill gave me an estimate which was reasonable, and when they came they had to disconnect my trailer and use a second tow truck to tow it to a repair shop because my drive shaft bolts were messed up.
Bill still charged me the same price he initially quoted, thank you

I called them on 01/12/19 to get my car which was stuck in a ditch from the 01/11/19 snowstorm. AAA was still on "no estimates", though Platinum Towing had a wrecker on the way in a little more than an hour from my phone call. By the time I made it there, the car had already been extracted from where it was. They even gave it a jump for the same fee. Amazing service and they helped me out when AAA couldn't.

They have towed my large trucks and equipment a few times and its always smooth and very faiir priced.
NEVER any worries about getting hit with some wild fees they didnt mention up front like with other companies.

Visiting my brother late Friday night, I ran into car issues. I called several other towing companies that wanted to charge me an insane amount of money to have my car towed back home. I contacted Platinum Towing, and Bill arrived within 25 minutes after my phone call, and had the vehicle on the flatbed within seconds, no hassle.
I had no other way of getting home, and Bill was extremely kind enough to allow me to ride with him back to my house to get the car dropped off. No doubt this is the best towing company around Shrewsbury / St. Louis Area, and they will continue to get my business when I need any sort of towing / roadside assistance.

Best experience ever! I broke down and I am a typical millennial so I googled the nearest tow and they came right up as highest rated. I dialed the number and the gentleman was there even faster than he quoted me! He quickly hooked us up and got where we needed to go, gave us a tip to check for tow insurance, and even helped calm my anxieties. They really made a scary situation easy and painless! They deserve every bit of their excellent rating!

They were super late picking the car up (over 2 and a half hours) and didn't keep me updated on the status of the truck. I missed my appointment at the shop and had to wait another day to have my car worked on. Once they got here they didn't know where I wanted it dropped off, even though I told them when I called for the tow.
Bill was extremely polite, quick, and understanding. All I needed was a flat changed and he did it without hesitation. I will definitely be using their services if ever needed again.
Tow driver was able to get my car started, so I didn't even end up needing a tow. Driver was knowledgeable and courteous.

I was broke down on river Des Peres with a power steering pump screaming at me at 5:30 in the morning. I call and Bill was to the rescue within 15 minutes. Took me to my mechanics and dropped off the truck before they opened. He was even nice enough to drop me off down the road at Quick Trip so I could use the bathroom and get a coffee. Sold Service, extremely professional. If I'm close to them I will use them for all my future towing needs. Great Business.
Absolutely fantastic service. I needed a car that wouldn't start towed from Affton to Ballwin at rush hour on a Friday night. Two other companies couldn't help me but Platinum said they'd be there in 20 minutes and I don't think I even waited that long. Tyler showed up promptly and was amazingly skilled with his flatbed truck. He had to reverse onto a driveway with a fence gate that was only slightly wider than the truck. He did that perfectly, hooked up the car quickly and we were on our way. When we got to my tight street he navigated that expertly, got the car off the flatbed and even helped us shove it into our garage in the right spot. I will absolutely be calling Platinum again for my future towing needs.
Had two tires blow out on I-44 late evening. They were there within 10 minutes of my call. Very professional, courteous, and helpful. Highly recommended! Everybody needs a tow at some point; they'll get the call the next time I need one.
I went to start my car and it wouldn't turn over. I was of course still at work at 5:30 pm. I needed to get from St.Charles to my home in South city! I contacted Platinum towing and they were there within an hour! The driver asked, "if it started, did I want to drive it home and he would follow me?" I had already made arrangements for a ride home, because I didn't want to chance it! Low and behold when he turned the key, it started and he drove it onto the flatbed of the truck!
I got home about 20 minutes prior to my car arriving! I live on a one way street, pretty tight and he had no problems literally delivering my car to my front door. Luckily the car started the next day and was able to take it to the shop! Thanks Platinum for your top-notch service, I will be using you in the future for all of my family's towing needs!
Let me start by saying that is a 100% satisfied customer review. Platinum Towing got the job done in fast timing and their rate is fair. I was in a car accident and needed a tow. So I googled for the closest towing company to me at the time and decided with Platinum Towing. I called and talked to Bill a few times. He was polite, professional, and very helpful. Tyler was the one that did the towing for me. He was polite and professional as well. Base on this experience, I do recommend Platinum Towing, and will definitely use their service again if I ever need it.
