In the beginning, they were paying rather well in decent but recently each time I go there I bring brass copper bear bread, aluminum and I only get measly dollars This last time just now will be the last time I go there 30 pounds of number one copper A bunch of aluminum And a couple bags of aluminum cans $7.86
When you deal with honest scrap companies, you find out who the crook is really fast. A truck bed full of scrap aluminum pays out around $90. They gave my employee $10.
Friendly as could be, easy to find, never recieved my copy of the ticket though. Scrapped a suv full and 3 batteries. Didnt get what i think i should have. After driving 45 minutes i wasnt impressed with the prices but then again without a ticket to cross reference its hard to tell. Also the fact that it didnt seem to me the scale worked cause i couldnt see my weight before and after . So be weary
I wouldn't take anything to these people because they pay way under actual scrap price, claiming number 1 copper as number 2 just because of a little tarnish on it. If I were you, I would take your scrap to west plains recycling as they pay closer to actual scrap price and they don't take your number 1 copper as number 2.
VERY NICE PEOPLE work here. Looking for ways to help me, and patient while I backed up my trailer. Brought in 7 loads today, and each visit was as pleasant as the prior one. Highly recommended!
