The guy at the register named Richard is pretty stand up guy. He saved me about $60 showing me a more affordable part and saved me from buying something I didn’t need. Will return!

Better do your homework and know exactly what part you want before you walk through the door. In my case I get the parts give them to my mechanic and he does the work for me when I get the wrong part, it cost me money for him to put my vehicle back togetherto get it off the lift, and to bring it back in when I have the correct part. And promises made over the phone are not honored at the counter.
These guys are always a great help. I stopped going to another local auto parts store for my own anecdotal reasons. This store, however, is very helpful and eager. The manager, Matt seems like a great guy who loves his job and helping people. Just had my check engine light checked, determined to be a bad battery , and the whole thing was swapped and done in under 20 minutes with a great attitude. Another great experience to keep me coming back!
Sooooo I have to update you guys on that jaw dropping situation yesterday I posted about. Let me first say MATT IS BEYOND FANTASTIC!!! How he managed an UN-manageable situation from start to finish I have NEVER witnessed in all of my years (15+YEARS BTW) of handling & witnessing SITUATIONS!!! He did it in a way that was GENUINE. Not just going through the motions with THAT "sorry not sorry" kinda speach. After meeting with Matt & getting the REAL store experience it went from me being up all night replaying what happened in my head over & over, replaying my phone over & over obsessed with trying to figure out WHAT & WHY RICHARD did me the way he did just getting more & more furious to me NOW BRAGGING ON THIS STORE & THEIR TEAM & MY SISTER IS BUYING HER BRAKES THERE SATURDAY! Yesterday just walking in you could feel the tension but today when you walk in the energy GREAT! EVERYONE was so super nice & they didn't know who I was. Matt, Jennifer & William (not there today but was yesterday) are GREAT. Actually even the employees that walked past me were too. There's something about that energetic ""HEYYYY HOW'S YOUR DAY?" that Just puts a smile on my face. I smiled from the time I walked in and I am still smiling writing this. THANK YOU MATT! Thank you for TRULY caring & thank you for how you handled a situation I didn't think could be handled without much MUCH more drama. You have a gift my friend you really do!

We pulled into this advance, with a mess. Matt not only went above and beyond yo help get our parts delivered quickly (we were broke down in the lot), but then literally saved our button when the delivery truck broke down, and still delivered for us. The service we recital was more than outstanding and couldn't be happier.

Dude was argumentative, promised I could return it if it didn't fit then told me he wouldn't accept my return because I had opened it. Went to O'Reilly's got help finding the proper fit. Don't go to these clowns. I'm a former AutoZone store manager and this place is bottom of the barrel
The best parts store to go to hands down. After dealing with Napa and Oriellys my whole life, I started noticing Advance Auto Parts usually had what I needed in stock, whereas the other companies had to have it shipped in. That aside, I found the customer service is 100% better dealing with the folks at the Washington location. Theyre mature and friendly, they actually answer the phone, and if they say something is in stock, they actually have it in the store. And they honor their sale prices as advertised.
I am a frequent flyer here at the Washington MO advance auto location. It doesn't matter what time of day I go in, I'm always greeted with knowledgeable staff who knows their way around cars. Matt the manager is super awesome and helpful. Nathan, Jennifer and Dave all know what they're doing and are very very helpful in finding hard to find parts for my project. As long as this crew is there, have no worries, you'll be well taken care of.

I give them one star bc I went there on Sunday and he wasn’t busy but just me I just want to get the head light on my passage side got burn so I ask him what is a good light bulb for it he don’t even show me are help me he just point it out like I know about the car and when I ask him to show me he said it’s right there u didn’t see it so next costumer come here he start to help them real fast and forgot I was there no matter who come in the doors first u suppose to help that person was there first I guess he have something against me bc I’m Asian and I’m not white bc I know for a fact when he see the white people come in he help them so fast u know my money is same as every one I will never come back
Battery went out in my Dodge Challenger. Jumped it and brought it to Advance Auto Parts. They offered a battery with higher CCA’s and it came with a three year warranty. The best part is whenever you buy a battery from them, they install it for free!
Even though it was cold and damp outside, Richard (I believe was his name) was kind enough to come outside and install the battery. He was pretty quick, and the work looked very professional and clean.
Thanks to Richard, the car started right up with no issues. Now I don’t have to worry about starting issues during this cold winter. 👍
EDIT: Tonight(11/12/24) My duramaxs Inner & outter tie rod went bad and my wheel & hub assembly all driver side went bad. Dave & Jennifer are absolutely amazing people who went above & beyond to help me because of my situation and being stuck in a parking lot.
All I can say about them is they are truly Humble and Awesome people.
The only store I will go to for any parts for my duramax, I love the guys there they are always willing to help me.
I only chose the best of the best and that's right here. Great people who work there always very helpful and they help you put some items on your car for free. Love it

Went to Walmart to get cheap plastic floor mats, didn't have any. They have them here for $20. I like those to put on top of my regular floor mats. Very friendly helpful staff.
Simply tried to buy oil. The clown behind the counter was too interested in talking alkaline diets and politics with someone else than to check me out. After waiting politely for a few minutes I had to walk out.
The employee found me the best deal there was for what I was getting! He actually took the time, listened and shared his recommendation!! I will definitely return!! 😉
The people working the evening of 9-28 were the best I've ever come across in a parts store. Genuine, very nice and helpful. Many times at all parts stores the employee will point you to where you search on your own, but when I walked into a very clean store, I asked if they had what I was holding and he came out to the aisle and spent time to help find a match. The other associate helped as well. I was passing through on my way home 70 miles away and pulled in. This was my first time at any Advance Auto Parts and they made a very positive impact. If I am near an Advance next time I need a part I will go there. Thank You!
Was in and out quickly, with all questions answered (I usually have a lot)! Polite, understanding, and actually talked to me like a human being. Experiences elsewhere made it clear I was not worth their business, while at the same time their condescending tone wished I would have sent the man in. THANKS ADVANCE AUTO PARTS!
