Nice guys working there and organized for a landfill. It's by far the most I've ever paid for dumping a regular pick up truck bed of trash at $60 though.
Extremely happy with this landfill! We come here all the time to get rid of junk. This place is more inexpensive than anywhere nearby. The guys in the tractors are nice and always help us if we have large items to unload. We will continue to give this landfill our business. If you have anything bad to say, go spend more money anywhere else.
Easy experience. Pull onto the scale to weigh your vehicle. Get out and fill out the ticket. Drive up the hill about 1/8 mile then go left to follow the road to the unloading spot. Back up to the pile, unload. Drive back and onto the scales, get out and pay the dumping fee.
$60 dollars just to enter is the reason everyone is starting to dump things every where but at the land fill this is a problem created by greed, Washington should be ashamed of themselves charger that much to people who are trying do their part and not dump on the side of the road people woods and fields.
Guy named Ryan(homeless Jēsus) yelled at us for dumping loose trash, but were dumping our normal trash we dump all the time. He did not yell at the 5 trucks ahead of us that also dumped loose trash. We just feel like we are being harassed by him. This was a couple weeks ago. It would be nice to not have to deal with a whiny baby that doesn't know the rules of DNR and the landfill he works at when we go there.
The guy that works the scale, should not be allowed to work with people. Not helpful, can’t even call in the ask if it is really muddy (last weekend got turned around after checking the website, which is what the same guy tells me to do everytime) he says it’s a risk you gotta take. He stated “I don’t go up there, idk”. Can the city of Washington get someone who has a little bit more people skills?
It's a landfill, not very user friendly for someone wanting to drop off a small car load. Would be nice for people to be able to dump into a roll off dumpster for small items. Caution when dropping off that you don't get a puncture in your car tire.
I do not use this company, however when I called to obtain business they do not offer they gave me a recommendation instead of acting like it's not there problem. Truly appreciated.
I do business here multiple times a month. They are always fast at getting your weights and the weights for me have always been accurate. Very friendly and professional people.
Dan put different weights on my ticket, after confronting him he told me he got my ticket mixed up with a truck that looked like mine. Dan charged me $260
to dump. I repeatedly told him he was wrong. But was basically told the scales don’t lie and that’s my bill. I was told I dumped 6500lbs of debris. I drive a half ton truck my trailer won’t even haul 6500lbs but Dan has no common since and said I need to pay the $260. So I did on my way home I called Dan back to argue my case and I told him I was going to city hall to complain. Now Dan says come back your new bill is only $15. Dan is dishonest lied about my ticket and never apologized. Just make sure you check your weights before and after dumping. Because the staff there has not figured out how to do there job yet.
