Jason helped me move my car from a tight spot at my apartment to my new house and even made sure to lower it directly into my narrow garage. On top of being super professional, he was also extremely personable. if I ever need another tow (knock on wood) I’m calling Terry’s.
Thank you Terry! From the bottom of my heart. I called in a dead panic after my daughter had a bit of an oopsie and blew out several tires. Parked in the middle of a busy intersection, I called Terry's because they have ALWAYS been reliable and luckily, spike with Terry himself. Who hoped in a truck and was there to save us with 20 minutes. He was nice, efficient and so patient. That means a lot to two woman who are stranded. Thank you!!!!!!! I will never call another tow company.
Terry went far beyond the call of duty. After bringing my dad's car back from his funeral he helped me diagnose and solve the overheating. You shouldn't use anyone else in town, ask him about his old cars.
These guys are amazing!! John was able to diagnose and fix my car within a few hours whereas other places kept me in loops for days trying to find out what was wrong. You can’t go wrong bringing your car here!!
Our van broke down in Marshfield and Terry came to get us. He was so helpful and caring. He was the silver lining in a not so great situation. Can’t say enough good things.

I thought I had work the other day, so I drove to the parking lot, but I ended up getting stuck in the snow. I called Terry, and he arrived quickly to help pull me out. He's a great owner, and the person who came with him was also very friendly and helpful. It's a fantastic company with wonderful people.
Horrible customer service. Not a single hello, smile, or anything from the guy at the front. I’ve dealt with places like this before, and they’ve always been super kind, helpful, and understanding! Here, they lied and said cash only despite the signs inside and outside saying they accept cards. This was the second inconvenience, after we tried going the day before because online they have it INCORRECTLY stated they’re open 24 hours. When we showed up, they had closed 30 minutes prior at 5pm. We showed up early the next day and they overcharged us because of it. I saw another one of their reviews saying “they took advantage of someone in a bad situation” and I couldn’t agree more. Here’s to hoping they update their online information and treat human beings better from here on out!
Around 11 on Halloween night, my new-to-me car broke down unexpectedly and despite various efforts, wasn't going anywhere.
I called Terry's and he was out there in 30 minutes! Pulled right up and got everything sorted quickly and efficiently.
He was extremely polite and skilled! Towing my car home and even backed it into my difficult driveway like it was nothing!

They may not agree with me, but these guys are angels! On the trip of our retirement dreams towing a 38 foot travel trailer we had a leaf spring break on the trailer. After sitting on the side of I 44 for about 2 hrs waiting to get help from our roadside assistance provider,Terry and John came to our rescue. They quickly decided what could be done to get us off the highway. They did the repairs quickly ,completed in one day allowing us to continue on our trip on schedule. You never want to have major problems when you're on a trip, but I have to say we were lucky it happened here in Springfield. Thanks to everyone at Terry's for your help!
We were down for the count! This was the second, and major problem with our RV/Towvehicle since leaving Chicago area. We were stuck on I44 during rush hour, just East of Springfield, MO! The right rear of the double-axle, 38-foot trailer had a broken spring! Between 3 rescue companies, Terry's was referred to us through Good Sam and actually showed up to assess the damage. Within 30 minutes, Terry himself returned with what he needed and I was able to tow at a low speed to his shop. That night he said expect it to be fully repaired by the next day.
I really didn't expect it, but I did expect a $4000 bill and 2 days of delay. This was an entire trailer suspension replacement, along with 2 replacement tires, and a new battery that I can only blame myself for.
The next day it was barely noon and I got the call! It will all be done in a few minutes or so. They were cleaning up. On top of that, at half of what I was really prepared for!!!!!
THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD WORKING ON MY RV!!! Done ahead of expectations, half what I expected (I know suspensions are not cheap), and very professional, but personable. Everyone worked as a team to get this done so fast! They really listened when I told them we were on our way to California and beyond! We have eight weeks and 27 reservations on our schedule... he kept us on schedule. I cannot say enough about this crew!!!!
Just had Terry tow me today. I stalled out near glenstone and division. Traffic was getting busy, (near rush hour, about 5pm) so I was really hoping he'd get there quick. He did. Was there in 20 minutes and drove me across town to the kia dealer on Campbell. Only charged me $125, which seemed low to me, but I guess I don't know for sure because I've been fortunate enough to never need a tow before.
Terry was friendly, quick, and reasonably priced. Awesome job. Thanks for the help
A cursory glance at our towing service options here in Springfield indicate that Terry's is the way to go.
My driver was Mark (if my memory serves me correctly), and he was friendly, respectful, and competent.
The only thing I might take issue with is the cost. It was $175 for a 5-mile tow within town at 7:30 PM. But perhaps that cost is customary for towing services.
I hope I don't ever have to find out.
These guys are fantastic!! On my way to take my husband who is fighting stage 3 lung cancer to an appointment, I thought my transmission was going out. Called Terry's to come tow the car to the transmission shop. They dispatched Mark to come get my car and he is my Angel because he asked what was wrong with it and so before he loaded it on the truck he asked if he could try to drive it. We told him yes and as he got in the car the floor mat was in his way he moved it and proceeded to drive my car around the parking lot. It wasn't the transmission just my floor mat causing the issue. We asked him what we owed him as he had driven and spent time and gas, he called the owner, Terry and they told us no charge. I can not express my gratitude and thanks to these guys. If I ever have need a tow or any of my family I'll be calling Terry's. Mark was the kindest young man and I would felt safe with him. Thank you is not enough. May God Bless you. Terry's was great to work with. No waiting several hours for a tow, he was there in less than 30 mins. Driver was very nice and actually gentle with the car. Significantly cheaper than the competition too! Great experience all around.

The short version, traveling out of state for my sons tournament. Wife’s trans goes out, place I call uses Terry’s. I get wife and boys to the game. Jason, truck 10, picks me up in minutes, takes me to the shop by hand, walks me into lobby, and says, “now let’s get you to that game.”
He took me personally. With his son in the back, using 15 mins of his lunch time, just to make sure I didn’t miss the game.
Hands down, unreal service from an incredible, kind and wonderful team of humans providing crisis support to other humans. Just amazing. Highly, highly recommend.
Serpentine belt slipped causing my car to overheat frustrated and in a crunch I Called Terry's and Accidentally gave the wrong address. Their Driver Joshua called Me and I apologized then gave him the correct address. He Gladly showed up, had a Great attitude, conversated with My son making our experience as Best as it could be for the situation we were in! Friendly, Professional Customer Service. In a Timely manner Highly recommend!
My son was recently in Springfield for business. While on the way back to the hotel his car started
smoking. I called Terry's, they came and towed his car to their shop. They diagnosed the problem
as a bad water pump. They were able to diagnose and fix the problem in 24 hours. I am so grateful to them for the fast service. This kept my son from being stranted 75 miles from home.

My tire blew out on I-44. Police Sergeant called tow truck for me and I’m glad we went that route and not through my insurance as Police gets towing requests faster and I really needed to get off the busy highway.
Tow company happened to be Terrys Auto Service. The guy (sorry, forgot his name, he just had tattoo done lol) hooked up my truck nicely and took it to discount tire of my choice. The ride inside his truck was comfortable. He gave me a lot of insight about tires as we drove. Upon arrival, he nicely dropped my truck on designated lot of Discount tire.
Price was reasonable.
Had a wonderful experience with Terry’s Auto Service and Towing. It was a very efficient and stress free day. Terry arrived at the pick up location right on time. Picked up the vehicle fast and was on the road in no time at all. When he arrived at the drop off location he put the vehicle right where I wanted it. He was very professional and very experienced in what he was doing. Highly recommend this company if you need any towing. A five star rating from me!!
Terry is an outstanding person and the service was top notch. The equipment is extremely new and well maintained. Priced very reasonable. As we were broke down and out of state, he went out of his way to make sure we were not stranded. Help secure a rental and provided us with a ride there. Called several times just to make sure we were doing fine. As I said, absolutely the best.
Called Terry's Auto Service and Towing. They answered immediately. Terry came and picked up my car the same day. They were both friendly. It was a quick and easy process and the payment was easy to make as well. They took my car to an auto repair shop after the repair shop had closed and offered to drive back the next day and drop my key off if no one was there at the repair shop. Also called after they dropped it off to update me and emailed me another receipt even though they already did. No complaints here. Great service!
These guys are great to work with. Compared to other towing companies I've used, you can tell Terry's really cares about their customers, and their business. I had to ride in one of their trucks yesterday and it was very nice and clean, not something you normally see when getting a tow. Also, they are quick to respond. The wait time was very short and they got me loaded up in no time. They had to pick up a fully custom show vehicle and they were extra careful during the entire process, I was impressed! The prices are more than reasonable, especially with the excellent customer service. I wouldn't use someone else, even if the prices were lower than these guys, because you get what you pay for.
