Michael was good. He explained he is new and learning which I had no issues with since at one point in time I was also new working retail and had to learn. He was attentive and paid attention to the other gentleman. He assisted the other gentleman with taking my battery out and installed the new one

Seems to have what I need when I need it the majority of the time and multiple stores within a rather close proximity if one doesn't. Never had a problem, solid company.
So far, so good! Had a starter tested, ordered another. Friendly, helpful employees; that part is as important to me as being knowledge about the products or services.
Retired military… worked for two of the largest auto parts retailers so I have experience with the process of greeting the customer as well as customer service. I walked in the store and noticed a young lady sitting at the register on her cell phone. No greeting whatsoever… walked to the back of the store to try and locate the paint section. The store is exactly opposite in layout compared with the store where I was employed. Found a male employee kneeling down working on merchandise. Asked him to direct me to the paint section. He stood and walked me over and moved his arm to direct me in the right direction. I felt as though it was a task that he had to stop what he was doing to do so. I walked up to the register to pay and the young lady put her phone down in order to ring up the merchandise. She rang up the order and I paid with my card. I don’t know that I have ever been in an Advance Auto and it was just like no one wanted to be there. I could go though the procedure for greeting customers and customer service but what I really would like to know is the manager’s name and even the District manager’s name. Hate to but I’ll be shopping at their competitors going forward.
As an Elite member of the SpeedPerks program, I get 12.5 points for every dollar I spend and Advance gives $5 dollars for every 500 points I save. This $205 dollar fuel pump got me $25 dollars in perk bucks! That's what I like about Advance. I do not like having to ask them to bundle up the 5 dollar coupons, but I do it anyways!
Went in the Gautier, MS. store today to get tail light bulbs for my Jeep. Julius the sales associate was more than helpfull. I couldnt read the number on the burnt bulb. He came over and found the bulb i needed without hesitation. Also found the other items i needed and took them to the counter. You just don't find customer service like that everywhere. Tanks again Julius!
It's an Advance Auto, what can you say really. Of the town's I've lived in and many auto parts stores I've been to over the years, the Moss Point Advance Auto is one of the best all round. The manager knows what she's doing and it shows. The employees are all knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. The store is clean, stocked and organized. I always know what to expect here and that means a lot.
Decent auto parts place with a few knowledgeable employees. They did not have the fitting I was looking for to adapt a can of 134a to a manifold gauge set, but directed me over to another auto parts store that did. If you're in a bind and need parts "right now" and don't mind mediocre quality, this would be a good place. If you've got time, and want better quality stuff, just shop at Rock auto. Decent store, but nothing spectacular.
I went in to get coolant for my car which had started to overheat as of recently. The staff was very prompt in asking what they could help me with. I told them I about my car starting to overheat and that I needed coolant, but didn't know which kind I should get for my 2002 PT Cruiser. They looked it up for me and confided amongst each other's shared experience of knowledge to ensure I was getting the right kind. Overall, they were very helpful, friendly, quick, and the experience was hassle free. I walked out with a smile and my car is running a lot better than it was. I would certainly go back again for any other car parts I might need in the future as I have a good feeling that I will receive the same friendly and consistent customer service as this visit.
The store is very clean,and organized. The staff is freindly. The guy I talked to that day knew a lot about vehicles. Where sometimes the ones you talk to are clueless or you can tell they are guessing. I would recommend this location of Advance Auto Parts to everyone.
