Prices are so high - many items I saw are what target, Maurice’s, etc would sell them for price wise.

The most expensive thrift store you’ll ever visit. Stop by if you want to have a laugh at their pricing. Destroyed toy trucks, 2/$7! Menards hammer, $10 ($5 at Menards). Pop-it’s, $4 a piece! (Outdated trend btw) 2 plastic toy pieces, $5. Mid-grade jeans, $24, jackets $18-$70. Unnamed polyester dress, $10.

Excellent selection of items. The prices were reasonable on the items I picked. Scarves for 1-2.50$ bottoms for 4$ each. The prices are far better than thrift shops in Minneapolis for items in good condition . The staff members were also very friendly a positive experience overall.

Just moved to a nearby town from Minneapolis. Recently have lost a lot of weight and been donating my larger size clothes. Twice went to Wise Penny and both times not impressed by the Staff. First time I came and the donation instructions outside were very confusing. I called them inside and they told me to come in even tho it looks like you are supposed to drive up. A grumpy man took my box and no thank you or smile. I left thinking appointments to drive up are for large items like furniture. Then I went back a few weeks later and brought in another box and the woman informed me I should have made an appointment. But she took my box. Two strikes your out Wise Penny. I have brought VERY nice clothing, gently used: Duluth Trading Company, Lands End, Chico’s, Claiborne, Ann Taylor, etc. some with tags on. But no more. I will bring my donations elsewhere in the future, where hopefully they are appreciated & can give me a smile and not make me feel as tho I’m inconveniencing them by not knowing the rules. Terrible customer service. Moral of the story: Make an appointment and don’t expect to feel welcomed.

Not reseller friendly. Most of the clothes are common brands which tells me the better brands are being sold elsewhere. The "name brand" section considered Ruff Hewn a premium brand which is a common brand they had marked at at $15 You can once in a while find decent stuff but typically it's overpriced

Pretty decent thrift store with good prices and frequent sales. Large variety of clothes and household items. Found some cute dresses and a few baby items, but they don't have a ton of baby clothes. Also noticed stains or tears on a few clothing items and furniture items. I will be back in a few months to see what's new!

Very expensive I can tell they looked up EVERYTHING they've on ebay as to anyone was going to sell. Wise penny more like wise dollar. They getting everything for free know need for the high prices.

As much as it’s a cute little store, Why are the cameras facing the dressing rooms? I didn’t even notice at first until my daughters said they could see the camera in the mirror. My oldest said “if i can see it in the mirror it can see me”. We won’t be going back. I understand you need cameras to catch stealers and stuff but right over the dressing room? It’s a little gross.

The prices at this thrift store are absurd. This is a thrift store not an antique store. People can’t even afford to shop second hand anymore. You have items donated to you and then you charge people up the butt when you got the items for free. Stop being greedy.

I have been going to Wise Penny for over 20 years and this place is so wonderful and has such a big selection. Always has a variety of stuff and a big selection. Very clean and organized. You will absolutely love this place. Jolinda/ Silvonna Elletson

Wise Penny is so worth the drive to Buffalo, MN! Their inventory is always changing with great gently used clothes, shoes, housewares and other items. I love this place!

Always friendly staff and really clean and well organized store! Love their 7 dollar/bag sales and especially the pre-Christmas 50% off everything sale! Left with 2 huge bags of clothes for the cost of 1 or 2 new shirts. Best thrift store around!

Kids refer to this shop as the “Purple Poop” store. Please see picture. We love wandering around this shop. The deals on clothes are great but prices on everything else are only good if you come on a specific day.

This is one of the best thrift stores. Clean, well-organized shelves and aisles, and endless selections of home goods, clothing, toys, books, wall hangings, furniture, seasonal decorations and more. Best of all, things are fairly priced. It’s worth the drive. You will not leave empty-handed.

I can't express enough how much I love this thrift store.. like OMG they have everything. I go there at least once a week because I always find something. The lady's who run that place are so nice and they will help you with anything you might need. Definitely recommend checking them out!! You guys rock!!

Who comes up with these prices? $20 for used jeans, $10 for used sheets? This place is beyond over priced, to bad, this place could be amazing if run right. I always love private owned thrift stores , because their prices are usually great, not this one, I will never be back

Cute shop. Organized. A lot of treasures to discover! Good parking. The staff were very nice and friendly. Don't forget to explore upstairs!

I was impressed because they have a fantastic collection of items. Everything is very well organized and they have a great selection of glassware, kitchen items, bedding items, books, clothes and much much more. They have two floors and there is an elevator up to the second floor. They also have several different holiday items. It is a great store and all the income from what is bought there goes back into the community .

Im Not sure how in the world they have a 4.3 fro reviews.. This Is the most expensive TRIFTH STORE I have ever ever ever visit... I did add some photos maybe just maybe the manager or who ever price things up can consider it and lower the prices, Im sure the will sale more and they wont have the racks sooo pack costumers cant even move the hangers a inch. Scarfs for 5$ and up ... Dresses 18$, 25$ really??? u can drive a little an find nice dresses at the outlet mall for half of that. Sweeters for 7$ and up... USED SOCKS for 5$ 🤣 OLD SHOES FOR 7$ 🙄 I just got a pair of boots NEW at Maurices for 10$ ... First and for sure last time I will visit here... Besides the cashier and helper are soooo /×@%÷< RUDE ... DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME PEOPLE...

When I first started shopping here, 15+ years ago, it was AFFORDABLE and easy to maneuver around while shopping. It had been a great experience shopping there. Now, for the past 3-5 years the prices have become outrageously expensive, the store feels cluttered with so much merchandise on the floor, a few of the staff members are snooty. Why would I pay for a pair of shoes for $12+ when I can go to a non thrift store and buy new shoes for the same prices? A used pair of jeans for $8.99+? These are only a couple of examples of the prices there. This place is a THRIFT STORE where people like myself are looking for a great deal while shopping. Buffalo and it's immediate surrounding areas are not like Wayzata, Maple Grove, Plymouth where people have MORE money to spend. Keep your clientele in mind when making any decisions that may affect their shopping experience.

Prices have increased considerably, while selection quality has decreased, since the new ownership a while back. Used to be a much better thrift store than it is now, unfortunately. Was one of my favorites, however, now I barely even bother stopping here anymore after numerous unsuccessful and disappointing trips. Advice to the store -- lower the prices for these *used* clothing items. People generally don't want to (or can't) pay the same price (or more) for an old used item versus a brand new item that's in a better condition.

Prices have gone up a tad. They have everything in it's own place , bins are labeled. Much easier to look around. All the books are in alphabetical order. I'm impressed! Will definitely go back

Pretty organized, large sized but it was so hard to look through kids clothing because it was too tight on the racks. Also I shop thrift stores weekly and the prices at this store are some of the highest I've seen, more like savers prices. I was told I NEED to check this one out and will love it but honestly I was disappointed. So much potential in this store but prices for donated goods are too high.

Great prices on used clothing, books, exercise equipment, office equipment, and basically anything. They have a monthly silent auction with many interesting items. Worth a look to anyone who lives in Buffalo.

I Have Shopped At Thrift Stores In About 15 Different States. I Have Always Liked "Ma & Pa" or "Church Owned/Managed" Thrift Stores Like This One Because Their Prices Are Usually Lower, As In This Case. I Do Not Frequent Thrift Stores Such as Savers, Goodwill, etc. Because Of Their 0verpriced High Prices! At This Store, Don't Forget To Check-0ut The Upstairs, Too, For Great Deals!
