Austin is the man. Yesterday I stopped by Advance Auto Parts to swap a battery and Austin absolutely impressed me. When supplying tools I had not brought, he noticed oil in my air filter—something I never would’ve checked—and explained it pointed to a head gasket issue. That heads-up was huge. He was professional, honest, and broke it down in plain English with zero upsell. Thanks to Austin, I can address a serious problem before it becomes an expensive disaster. Outstanding service—I’ll be coming back because of him!

At every encounter they have been knowledgeable helpful and kind. I appreciate that they are a close resource for me.

Employee is too busy playing on his phone to assist the customers. Shop here if you know exactly what you want and where it is on the shelves. Otherwise.....total frustration!

Customer service is terrible. Came in for windshield wipers. The guy sitting at the counter on his phone wouldn’t show me where to find them in the aisle and the lady with the short hair in the ponytail talked about denying installing my windshield wiper blades so rude, won’t be back.

Amazing and very helpful staff! We were in a rough patch and they helped us so much!! If we lived here in town we would make this store our go-to auto store! Thank you for all you do staff!

Came in for a AC pressure switch that said in stock online, the employee looked around almost lost for a minute and then came back saying the count was “wrong” and said he can order it, that defeats the purpose of going in store, decided to go across the street to Napa and got the part which was in stock like it said online

I lost a fuel cap and stopped here to purchase another. The associate let me test fit the cap and come back in to complete the purchase. As an out of state traveler, I appreciated the trust and great service.

Michael at Advanced Auto is probably an actual angel here on earth. He saved me so much money by helping me patch my tire when I thought I had to go buy a new one. He is super knowledgeable, beyond helpful (they need to make a new word for how helpful he is) and SO nice. Genuinely a great person. A great shop, welcoming and great pricing. Went to find a spark plug and was told they were out of that type. However, the gentleman that was helping me didn't give up looking. As I started pulling out of the parking lot, he came out of the front door waving a spark plug. He told me the computer lied and he had remembered he had seen one. Now, that is what I call genuine customer service.

Went in to look for brake line parts and was treated like an idiot for being a beginner. The clerk was an absolute jerk and took every opportunity to take a shot at me—was not interested in bringing my business there and likely never will again.

Service here is above and beyond. I am someone who knows little about cars and have always felt comfortable walking in and asking questions without being talked down to or feeling embarrassed. Michael and his team have helped me out so much since moving out to the Buffalo area. They go the extra mile to explain things and help in any way they can! Great people, great products, great prices. Definitely my primary store! Many places to choose from but I highly suggest Advance Auto Buffalo!

I stopped in to get my battery checked earlier today. Grumpy old guy was working (Mike I think). Rejected my request because he was the only guy working. There were literally no other customers there. Happily went across the road to Napa and they took care of my needs. Won't go to Advance ever again.

I have a great experience every time I come in this store. Mike the GM, and John always set me up with what I need. I've gotten the proper brakes, filters, and the special oil that I was looking for. They happened to have it, and suggested additives that were very beneficial to my car. These guys at this store are very knowledgeable and helpful.

I have had many good experiences at the Advance Auto Parts store in Buffalo MN, but I still anticipated that my recent visit would not go well. I was returning an item that was under warranty and expected some to get some push back during the exchange. But the opposite occurred, my item was quickly tested and verified to be faulty. Unfortunately, the item was in very short supply and not available at the Buffalo store. The General Manager, Michael Wickman, was quick to find a replacement item in the multi-store inventory database. Then he immediately called that store and made sure that the item was claimed for me. Since this was a warranty exchange and there is no profit on the transaction, he could have stopped here and let it be my responsibility to go to the other store and get the item to have it quickly. But he made special arrangements to get the item brought to the Buffalo store for me. I have a suspicion that he personally drove to the other store. One of my least favorite tasks is making a trip to an auto parts store in an effort to get a vehicle back up and running. Top that with it being a second trip for the same issue, I am hard pressed to honestly say the experience was enjoyable but I will say the store went well above and beyond to make it much less miserable.

Very dissatisfied because they said they have the part I need but can’t find it. They asked me to wait and I did. They couldn’t find it. So I had to use the restroom… they said they didn’t have one and couldn’t let me use it because I can’t be let back where they have inventory! Then they said it was a corporate rule… well, see if I give them any business in the future… no way!!!

My experience was great with this store, Emily was able to get the products that I needed and not only that she was willing to help me get the parts on my vehicle , she was vey knowledgeable, friendly ,and eager to help. I have to tell you I have not receive customer service like that in a long time. so if you want to get good advice about your parts and actually get the part I would suggest that you go and talk to these guys. The experience I had was well beyond what I expected. I will continue to shop with these guys for as long as I have a vehicle. I just want to thank you guys for a great experience and caring about my needs. Jackie Harrison

Today I called at 10 AM exactly when they open, The GM answered and was very kind and very gracious as to getting the parts i needed in the fastest and most manageable way possible. Even after all The hard work they put in to make sure my that my parts were there when they said they would be. They had even greater customer service when I walked in the store this is a great location to get your parts!

Michael and Don were so helpful! We stopped in and didn't know exactly what our issue was and they helped debunk what it was and were quick to do so! They were also juggling 5-10 customers instore and phone calls on top of it! Thank you so much guys, you were fabulous! We will definitely be recommending Advanced Auto Parts!

Ordered wipers for my SUV (online and pick up on store) the gentleman who put them on for me was very kind and knowledgeable. The ease of ordering was a breeze as well. I always like coming here to this store particular. The prices are great too.
