This place is great! Anytime we go here, we are greeted by welcoming employees that have stellar customer service. They were very busy this time around, but we were quickly helped by Ben Anderson, and he is fantastic. Exceptional customer service, he helped me find the laptop I was looking for quickly, and pointed me to where I would find a mouse for it! We were also greeted by the manager, Wes. He is very kind, and you can tell he cares about the customers. We appreciate the excellent service here, anytime we come! Thank you Micro Center!

Can you probably find what you're looking for cheaper online? Sure, but you'll be missing out on outstanding service and knowledge staff, not to mention all the extra stuff available for purchase. If quality matters more than quantity, I encourage you to start here.

They have anything computer related for sure. Took a little long for someone to help us, I know their short staffed but on a tuesday morning we should not have to wait 30 minutes for someone to open a case. Otherwise the employees are knowledgeable and nice to talk too when you get them.

This store has always had the hardware I want each visit, at a fair price, and the staff have proven very knowledgeable and eager to help. Their extended warranties on hardware have proven useful (for things beyond their control) and I believe they’re also fairly priced for the guarantee they back. Ask the staff about those warranties and it’ll quickly become apparent why that’s the case. The store gets rather busy some days, but they handle the large volume of customers quite well in my experience. My only lament is that I don’t live closer.

Visited Micro Center for the first time in my life and I must say it was an awesome experience. I can only imagine that in a place like this, the staff answer the same questions all day, every day. And despite the assumed repetitive conversations, everyone I spoke to didn’t have an exhausted attitude, they were all great.

Website needs major improvement when it comes to ordering. Our company credit card only works in store? Customer service on the phone says they have no option for me. No more ordering custom builds from Microcenter until it's fixed sadly.

Thank you for responding to my review, that is all I needed in order to patronage your store again. Thank you for acknowledging my frustration. I will re-review after a few more purchases. I’ve spent a fair amount of money at Micro Center over the years — several computers, cords, keyboards, a TV, accessories — but after my experience last week, I won't be back. Last October, I bought a new desktop, mouse, and keyboard. Exactly a year later, the mouse started acting up. I stopped in to see if it might be eligible for replacement. I waited in line, explained the situation, and the associate looked up my account but couldn’t find the purchase. She called the manager, who told me I’d need to contact the manufacturer directly. When I asked for details — like how to do that — she didn’t know, so the manager came up. He told me I should have purchased the extended warranty, said it had been two years since I bought the mouse, and then wasn't able to print a copy of my receipt because their system “only goes back a year.” Somehow, though, he was still able to tell me when I bought mouse. It was clear he didn’t care and I left frustrated and disappointed. They lost my business over a $100 mouse. If anyone knows a good computer store that still values customer service, I’m all ears — my son’s building a PC soon.

Two years after purchasing a custom gaming PC, I experienced an issue with a Bluetooth failure. When I called to see if it would be addressed if I brought the awkwardly heavy tower into my local store, the rep recommended talking to a tech, and took my number. Within a few hours, I received a call. The tech guy knew immediately what was causing my Bluetooth issue, and walked me through applying the fix. I am so favorably impressed with how this issue was handled. Deserves 5 stars, but because it was so difficult to find a telephone number for Microcenter, I could only give 4.

I would like to share with you positive feedback about my experience at the St. Louis Park location, specifically with Sydney (Reference #045-P0-10985306). Sydney went above and beyond on multiple occasions. I was assisting an elderly individual with special needs following a stroke, and she took the time to truly listen and understand the specific challenges we were trying to address. Rather than offering a quick fix, she thoughtfully worked with me to identify a cost-effective solution that would genuinely improve their daily functioning. What stood out most was her follow-through. On our next visit, Sydney remembered our situation and asked how the solution had worked. That level of care, attention, and accountability is rare and deeply appreciated. Her professionalism, patience, and willingness to invest time made a meaningful difference for someone navigating complex recovery challenges. Please extend my sincere thanks to her as the survey function isn't working.

Great store for tech. I recomend this place to my friends and family over best buy. Looking for a new laptop or gaming pc? They've got a great selection and people there to help you. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because their staff is not very friendly sometimes when I need to ask a question I get the sense that I am a inconvenience to them.

I want to give Nathan W a massive shout out for helping me with a network issue I was having. I started the conversation knowing basically nothing about the issue I was having, and even let him know. Not only did he provide amazing service, he suggested a different product that I hadn't even considered to solve the issue i was having. The best part of it all, he filled me with confidence to solve the issue I was having with my UniFi system. Thanks Nathan, I truly appreciated the help!

So don't listen to the whiney nerds that had PCs built here. If you're a true geek with some semblance of card A slot B and can follow basic instructions. This is your super store. It's Best Buy and Radio Shack had a baby with Circuit city and Babages as mid wives and nurse maids. Great store!

This store and the entire staff is a wonderful experience. The staff have always been honest, knowledgeable and very helpful for advice on just about any technology (PC hardware / builds, Console, IT). The service center, with technicians such as Ben, have helped through entire repair process, taking care of their customers by keeping them informed through entire repair process and solving problems when some of us less tech savvy people screw things up. If you need tech solutions, Micro Center will always be my first stop.

Sales associates Brandon H and Nova Peak were great. Brandon H helped me find the cables I needed and was very helpful. Nova Peak help me address some issues with my old Apple Computers and gave me some ideas on how I could deal with the issues I had. They've gone tons of stuff at MicroCenter, some can be a little pricey, but not unreasonably so. Great help, lots of tech stuff, and a good staff. I love just wandering around the place when I have extra time.

The store is always clean, well stocked and well staffed. The crew members all seem very passionate and positive. Everyone there's knows tech and tech trends. Their prices are a little higher than online retailers. But if you want it today this is the place to get it. MC pretty much has the Mpls/St.Paul market cornered. All around a solid store.

THE place to get all things electronics. I was helped by Jackson, Alexandra, and Riese. Jackson helped me find the exact items I wanted and was very knowledgeable with every question I had. Alexandra helped me at the register and was very welcoming and genuinely cared that my experience went well and I left satisfied. Riese, the operations manager, helped me get a deal I almost missed out on and saved me lots of time and money. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience and the people that helped me!

I have loved this store for a long time. Ever since I built my first computer, the people who helped me pick out my parts were really helpful. At the same time, that is all that they are useful for. Only go here to buy stuff, any repairs that they do are useless. I walked in with a broken computer that I had tried to fix myself and decided to get a second opinion. I went in for a free consultation and the guy told me that it would be an 80 dollar fix without even looking at the computer first. I trusted that they would know what they were doing and so I paid it. I then left and realized that they probably wouldn’t be able to fix it with $80. I then went back into the store to ask why I didn’t get a free consultation before I paid and also if I could refund it. The manager then came out to tell me “Free consultations are for computers that turn on.”. Sorry, my bad, I didn’t know free computer repair consultations were for WORKING COMPUTERS. He then refunded me $50 and I left the store with no new info and $50 (could’ve been $80) poorer. It’s a good store to buy stuff from passionate people, but by god never try to get your stuff repaired here.

I feel sorry for people who live in a city that doesn't have a store like this. Everything you need to build a computer is here or you can buy a pre built set up. Staff knowledge is hit or miss but if you find a good person they can help make your build great. I've had good service department experience too. I've probably bought over 30 computers for our office there and my kids have bought all the components for there last builds and my current CPU there.

For years, this Micro Center has been my reliable five-star go-to, thanks to proactive, knowledgeable, and proud staff. Unfortunately, my experience yesterday was a stark contrast. While technicians Nicholas A. and Edward L. were excellent—handling my RAM upgrade request with professionalism and speed—the overall store culture felt broken. The issue began with a manager in one of the departments, who ignored me while socializing with employees. Later, at the service pickup, I was unsettled to witness "Don" the service manager publicly berate Edward, a seemingly new employee, for simply trying to get my transaction approved as I already paid for everything. This was extremely tasteless and unprofessional. A general "disconnect" permeated the store. During multiple waits at the service desk, other employees and managers actively avoided eye contact, making waiting customers feel invisible and the same thing happened as I walked around the entire store with the exception of one manager and one employee. This marked indifference is at the opposite end of the spectrum from the service that once earned my loyalty. While busyness is understandable, this culture is set from the top. My negative view of the brand after this visit is such that I wish I could return everything for a full refund and take my chances at Best Buy (which is really saying something that I would even consider going back to Best Buy.) Management, particularly the store manager and "Don," needs to address this toxic environment and retrain staff on basic customer service and respect.

I am 100% happy with my experience at Micro Center. Tamel “may be misspelled” helped me select a gaming laptop for my son’s birthday. He did a great job and wasn’t pushy at all… He explained the coverage and return policy. I ended up getting a lemon of a machine from a poor factory setup. Of course I was nervous of how this would be handled. Many thoughts went through my mind from dealing with other companies. I am happy to say Mico Center stood behind what they said and with out question took the laptop back and worked out a different one with me. It was interesting because Tamel was the one to remedy the situation as well. He did a great job once again. I am happy to report that my replacement gaming laptop is running like a champ and my kids are happy. Tamel, you do a fantastic job, I was lucky to randomly encounter you Micro is lucky to have you as an employee. Thank you for standing true to your policy and ensuring your customers are happy. I will be by again in the future for a new gaming tower. Thanks!

First time coming to the store. Everything was easily labeled and quick to find what we needed. Brandon was the associate we worked with to help get a new 3D printer for my husband's Christmas gift. He was able to answer all the questions he had and help him choose which one he wanted. All over great experience.

Absolutely fantastic place for any computer electronics. I went here looking for Raspberry Pi 5 and a Pico 2 W as well as power supply for the Pi, and wireless mouse and keyboard. Kirby helped me over there, give this guy a raise. He helped me for everything i needed, even when I had forgotten something it was like it didn't bother him. If other companies had a business model like these guys do, the world would be a better place. If you have any computer or electronic needs, I strongly urge you to try here. The place has a ton of stuff in it, I saw a fraction. Before you even consider anywhere else, try here first.

Needed a special computer & monitor for my elderly father whom has vision issues. On October 30, 2025, I went to the Microcenter in St Louis Park. Joe Wilson offered to help us with everything we needed. The curved monitor with low light option helps comfort eyes, small hard drive-takes up less space, larger mouse for bigger hands and lit up keyboard. Thank you for making this purchase so easy! We met the manager and he made us feel like valued customers! Thank you for being a store that is welcoming and genuinely helpful!

Micro Center has it all. Got a sweet deal on a refurbished external disc drive. The best flash drive prices around. An entire aisle purely for computer and gaming mice. Lots of staff available to assist all around the store. Support your local electronics store while you still can!

Got a 6200 dollar custom computer and the guy says he builds till hes satisfied i said no. Untill im satisfied. He decides to NOT add the cooling fan for the 5090 GCARD. And I leave without all boxes and the Cable for the card is under stress and the RBG cables will melt thw right lights arnt tight to the cables and the fan never got installed. All because the tech said he isnt satisfied untill hes happy. What about the customer being happy

I wanted to be happy here... my first purchase at microcenter was a g754 pc for 2300$ for their brand of prebuilt.... powerspec. it started out great... we took the pc home only to find out the very next week it went on sale for 1999. to get the refund I had to drive all the way back out... I live 2 hours away. annoying but fine I dealt with it... got a new monitor since it was store credit only done deal... then 2 months and 5 days after I bought this pc the ethernet suddenly does not work. I bought a new ethernet cord tried updating drivers everything. with no luck I call their support. since im 5 days out of the 60 day period they want to charge me to help 49.99... I frustrated of course said I tried most of what you want to do im super afraid this is a busted port or an issue with the motherboard. what does he want me to do? drive another 2 hours without a certainty that they can fix it and even if they can I may still have to pay let alone the 2 hour drive there and then back. my friends all raved about microcenter and here I am feeling like im wearing the egg on my face. maybe my experience isnt the norm but the lack of care for a first time customer does not make me ever want to do business with them again. very frustrating and now i cant even use the pc without an internet connection... imagine a computer/hardware sales company and they still run on old DOS pos system. insane I thought these guys were experts... UPDATE***************** 11/7/25 Responding to the comment below. I still have this problem it happens occasionally and the only solution is to uninstall and reinstall the driver. my more tech savvy friends say its because in this prebuilt they cheaped out on the parts nobody pays attention to like this LAN port etc... could be wrong but all I know is about once a month this happens... im in service warranty which is awesome but again my issue is driving 2.5 hrs to go back after making 3 trips now is not ideal. I was hoping for a better solution. very disappointing. the manager was friendly but still just cant believe you run on a old dos system and cant even see what price you had products on your own website...

I recently spent over $10,000 at Micro Center in St. Louis Park for my business, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. One of the computers I purchased for $129 was defective, and when I attempted to exchange it, the staff refused to assist me. I found the manager's response to be unprofessional and disrespectful. I believe in supporting businesses that value all customers equally, so I can't recommend this location to anyone, especially people of color. If you’re looking for a store that prioritizes respect and customer service, it might be best to consider other options.

I have purchased several 3-d printers from MicroCenter. I always purchase the extended warranty and I have had to use it a time or two and their staff is absolutely wonderful and accommodating! Microcenter has always been THE place for anything technology. Has everything you need and every employee is so knowledgeable. Yeah, the checkout line sometimes get long during busy hours but worth it for the customer service, products and warranty alone. We had to take our out of state friend here before he left, as he needed to see the greatness in person. Thanks again for all the great work!

I had two completely separate interactions at Micro Center today, and both were outstanding. First, I purchased another 3D printer—an A1 Combo—from Noah. His service was phenomenal. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. A great experience from start to finish. Second, I came in to pick up a computer I had brought in for repair last week (originally built by Micro Center). Donald, the store manager, initially helped me, along with the team behind the counter. Today, Tim (another manager) and Tanner assisted me with the pickup. These guys are absolute pros. The level of customer service and technical support they provided was top-notch. Let me say this: Noah, Donald, Tim, and Tanner are helping protect and elevate your brand every single day. They’re the reason customers like me keep coming back. Premier service all around.
