Jimi and his crew are very knowledgeable in all aspects,AND loyal. I've brought in many vehicles I recently had a fuel pump go bad prematurely that they installed,it was a bad one from the manufacturer, (not there fault,it was a good brand too)I brought it back,there was no charge on new replacement...I will not tarnish there 5 star rating,I will be back. YOUR HONESTY IS YOUR BEST QUALITY. Can't find that no more,.....

as a woman, it’s often hard to find a trustworthy mechanic that won’t overcharge or take advantage of my lack of knowledge when it comes to cars. however, since my first visit to impact auto repair — i was relieved to finally find a shop i could put my full trust in. the staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful, and i will gladly drive the extra miles to come here. the staff’s genuine care towards customers does not go unnoticed, and they have gained my full loyalty because of it.

My check engine light came on when I was driving home for a trip. I came in bright and early in the morning to see if they could see what the issue was because google was not being helpful. They figured out I needed oil and it solved all my problems. He was kind enough to not charge me, and fill me in on the issues that Hyundai has with oil in the engine. In return, I am writing this review to spread the word that these guys are amazing. They are so willing to help a random stranger that came into the shop. Not to mention when I did get work done at the shop the work was great! The price was unbeatable too. I’ll be recommending all my friends and family to come to Impact Auto for work that needs to be done on their car. :)

Great Service & Great Prices They got me in right away to get a blown tire swapped. They had the exact tire I needed in stock; unlike the large chain stores around. On top of that, they had the best price too!

Jimi, Scott, and crew are the only mechanics my family and I trust with our cars. They go above and beyond and are genuinely looking out for you. There’s a reason they are booked out for weeks!!! Great customer service. Brought our car in with concern about squeaking. They informed us the car was still doing fine and that down the road it would need repairs, but still in great condition to drive. So we brought in our second vehicle with concerns, and they knew exactly what the issue was, fixed it, and thanked us for coming to them and spending the money on our vehicle at their shop. That was a welcomed response. Great business and an honest car repair shop you’d want to work with.

He puts you first - even if it means he's giving up a sale (he advised me again investing $1000+ into an older vehicle given other issues he identified on inspection). Had the timing chain and water pump service done on my 2013 Taurus. The shop was able to complete this very complex job in 2 days. I couldn't be happier with the end result and highly recommend Impact Auto. Great customer service and competitive pricing in addition to quality work.

I brought my car in because of what turned out to be a broken water pump which overheated the engine. Jimmy talked me through what would be required and described other mechanical issues that would likely come soon on my car. While they could have made a few thousand dollars on necessary repairs, instead they were upfront and honest about the fact that the vehicle probably wasn’t worth the required fixes, costing themselves some business in the short term. Their integrity has won them a new customer. I have never been as impressed with a mechanic as I was with the honesty I observed here.

Although it took a couple weeks to get an appointment it was worth the wait. This shop was recommended to me by a female family member as a trustworthy and reliable shop with respectful and knowledgeable staff. They were absolutely correct. I had a few questions and I was treated with respect and given honest answers and good service. It can be hard to find a good (and trustworthy) mechanic shop. I’m hooked this place is awesome and I will definitely be using them for all of my vehicle’s needs from this point on.

Jimi and his staff are awesome. Best shop in the planet (lived in 8 US states and 3 countries and nothing comes close). My mom and girlfriend also take care of their cars at Impact. I wouldn't let anyone else touch my car. As long as we are in MN or close by, they will always have our business and I will recommend them to anyone I know. Called for appointment to mount and balance 4 tires that I had purchased online. I arrived a little late (oops), but they still got my vehicle in immediately. Was done in about an hour. Very reasonable prices. Friendly, trustworthy guys all around. You've earned my future business. Thanks!

Simply the best! Jimmy and staff are honest, super caring, hardworking and worth far more than they charge. They care about the customer and the community. I won't be going anywhere else. You might have to wait a few days for a non emergency repair but it's because of the superb work they do!

I've had my vehicle in several times for routine maintenance and a few big repairs. This crew is top notch! They're only concern is fixing the problem right the first time and making sure you're satisfied. They recommend what is needed for my vehicle, but never have they pressured me into buying anything. I drive over 20 miles to their shop because the service and reliability are worth it! From what I've seen inside as well, they are a big supporter and contributor to their community.

I have never had such fantastic service anywhere in my 40 plus years of auto ownership. The staff is knowledgeable, efficient and very pleasant to work with. Even more impressive is their character and integrity. I have a couple of older cars. In one instance the owner advised that it was time to look for a new car. He could have done the very expensive repair and pocketed the money but he didn't. Today, after looking at the other old car he actually referred me to another repair shop because he thinks that shop can do the work for less. I'm glad he is my mechanic and I really wish he was my neighbor. Most trust worthy place I know. I will always chose Impact Auto Repair first over any other shop.
