I commute to Farmington every day for work. When it was time to leave I noticed a nail in one of my tires. EZ Auto took me in immediately with no appointment after learning that I didn't live locally. They were slammed with scheduled work but still made time for me and quickly had me back on the road. I appreciate the empathy and professionalism. Farmington is lucky to have you.
Last July of 2025 I had my Saturn ion in for a starter replacement and Eric and the staff could not have been more accommodating and professional and honest. they took care of the issue in quick order and had me back on the road in no time. He is very honest and the prices are way more than fair. I also had a intermittent starting issue with the ion which ended up being a faulty battery they went ahead and changed the battery out and I still had an issue or two with it not starting all the time so I took it back and we discovered that the bolt that bolts the positive cable to the battery was stripped. He replaced it with a new one at no extra charge and said have to make things right for the customer that's what keeps people coming back and I agree such a wonderful young man. I will always bring my cars in for him to service end of story, easy Auto repair is a 10 in my book.
I drive from Minneapolis! My favorite mechanic shop! In a world now where you can’t trust mechanics, I always trust EZ Auto. From the top to the bottom, the staff do an amazing job! They help out, they work with you, and tell you the honest truth. So grateful I found them thru my guy Isiah who sells cars in the area.

have had several repairs done here. heater blower motor on a 2009 Ram. Front end alignment on a 66 Mustang and wheel balancing on the truck after other places couldn't get it right. solid workmanship and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
If you're looking for a go to auto repair shop for all your future repairs, this is it. There's not many places you can go nowadays where you can really trust them to be honest with you AND have reasonable prices AND do great work. I highly, highly recommend EZ Auto!!

You cannot find a more honest auto shop around. We went in for a metal on metal noise and they were able to recognize why and systematically fixed our vehicle in two days. Truly exceptional service.

I can't say enough good things about Eric and how he runs his business. Auto care can be a scary place for people because of all the crooked mechanics out there. But at EZ Auto, you have nothing to worry about. They are honest, affordable, and do great work! I wish I could bring them to Florida with me! It's hard to find a good mechanic anywhere, especially Florida!

Worked with me on a pretty crazy estimate to replace spark plugs. I truly appreciate a small business that understands what a customer needs from a professional service. So often, these repairs are accepted with criticism because of the high cost of labor, which is not the fault of the repair shop. They've consistently gotten me in quickly and provided service I can trust at a fair price. One time they noticed my vehicle parked nearby and gave me a call just to ensure they weren't missing something in their schedule in case I was waiting on them. They go above and beyond to take care of their customers and I truly appreciate it!

I am shocked by the number of reviews championing the integrity of this shop, when my experience was anything but honest. I hoped to purchase a Subaru Outback from Diamond Auto Group, and I wanted a mechanic's opinion first. Brett at Diamond Auto called EZ Auto Repair up and got the vehicle in for an inspection. The EZ Auto tech called me when it was complete, told me the vehicle was in great condition and he'd easily buy it for his daughter, implying it was trustworthy. No other notes. He was too positive and fast-talking for me not to get a gut feeling he was in the pocket of Diamond Auto, especially since I'd just driven the car and heard suspension noises, and because I'm not dumb enough to believe an Outback at 160k miles is mechanically spotless.
I insisted that I needed to take the Outback to my trusted Minneapolis mechanic, putting a down payment on the car to do so. There, I was told that I'd face $5000-7000 in repairs: the back break was being held together with ZIP TIES, the suspension was original and 60k miles past its life, the tires were down to 4/32, and more. It doesn't matter that I didn't buy the Outback. What matters is the scummy, terrible service and incomplete inspection I received at EZ Auto. Take your car up the road to Home Town Auto in Lakeville instead.
I have known Eric since the early 2000's and he was able to fix things on different cars that I have owned that you couldn't fix on your own. He knew how to fix complicated things. He has grown tremendously from 1 man to a whole company and I couldn't be prouder. This man is very honest and takes care of your car period. He's also skilled in quick fixes. I have recommended Eric to all of my friends and family. He's a trustworthy mechanic in a shady world.

Everyone that works here seems to grasp what it takes to build customer relationships. They keep busy and seem to have the trust and appreciation of the Farmington community. They are efficient with scheduling processes, getting parts ordered and in, timely repair completions, and seeking follow-up input. Eric has been kind, flexible, and willing to make adjustments to accommodate our personal needs.
The guys at EZ Auto Repair have been personal and seem to truly listen to our requests for service! Eric and Tristen have been patient and thorough to go over my list of requests, and for specific products or lifting care. The work they have done on my cars has been completed quickly and at a great value. Each time, we’ve had a good experience and plan to return for further vehicle diagnosis and repairs.
Even during the stresses due to the fire a few years ago, EZ Auto Repair kept up with clients from a temporary location at 805 Third St in a space formerly used by a muffler shop. It’s easy to see their passion for providing quality and reliable auto repair and maintenance services.
In preparation for one trip, we wanted the tires’ balanced and other aspects checked. When a piece of their equipment had a last minute failure, Eric gave us two referrals and sought to help us get the diagnostics done in time to travel safely.
Nice clean shop; we find that the techs are both knowledgeable and professional during execution. I do recommend them.
