I was happy to have found a shop with great reviews, However, I did not have the same great experience as others. I scheduled a diagnostic appointment for my vehicle in December and dropped it off that morning, clearly stating that I would need it back by 3:00 PM. When I called at 3:30 PM, I was informed that my car would be looked at next. However, by 5:00 PM, I was told that the technician would be leaving for the day and was asked if I could leave my vehicle overnight to be examined the following morning. Despite having a scheduled appointment and clearly communicating my time constraints, no work had been completed, and I was told they could not identify the issue that day. As a result, the appointment felt like a complete waste of my time, and the experience was both frustrating and disappointing due to the lack of timeliness and professionalism.

Website was easy to navigate and make appointment online. Jenna C. was more than happy to give me a rough estimate over the phone , which other shops were not . Although it ended up far more than initial quote, it was not unexpected as I knew there was more work/ parts needed. Staff was was very friendly and accommodating and I really appreciated the follow up call I received from Jenna on my experience at GVT and if the service performed was as I expected.

Honestly a little disappointed. Not with the quality of work, Rick does a fantastic job with transmissions. More disappointed that my truck was clearly messed with while at your shop. Someone was obviously testing out my stereo as when I got in the truck the radio was so loud when I turned it on that the speakers were all crackling. (Extremely loud). My tuner on the truck was also messed with, as the screen settings were changed and the start up menu was completely different. I understand it was most likely un plugged to access the OBD port, but it would go back to the settings I had it on when re installed. Only complaint. Just wish the employees would treat customer vehicles better.

I had one of the best experiences ever. Jenna at the front desk was great. All of my work was done in a timely matter and done right. Very friendly people also!

Mike at the Blaine Shop did a great job today. My Wife’s Truck was have Battery problems so I called Mike and he got me in the same day and fixed my battery problem then I paid nothing because the battery was under warranty. Thanks Mike

Jenna is absolutley amazing! She walked us through a pretty large repair and was patient with all of our questions. We had our truck driven down there all the way from Duluth, because she was so honest and great to work with.

The whole process start to finish was great! My repair done in a timely manner and was finished when promised. Shawn and his crew are awesome!

Good place, keeps you informed. No diesels though, wouldn't look at my Jetta.

These guys are great! They are an honest group of mechanics with a refreshing approach to customer service. Appointment was easy to schedule that worked within my own schedule; GTV offered a loaner which was ready when I brought my car in. Their work is top-notch so I always leave with great confidence that my car continues to be mechanically sound ... and reliable! Their prices are very reasonable and freely apply any and all applicable discounts. I wouldn't take my car to any other mechanic.

My car broke down on Hwy 65, I rolled into the shop. They were Extremely available and professional. I drop my car off, had it evaluated, and agreed to some repairs. I then got it all handled the next day and picked the car up. Super easy and quick. I would recommend and get service again.

I brought my car in for an oil change the other day and was impressed with the new look. The guys there are friendly and know their stuff. I would recommend this place for car maintenance.

Great staff to work with. They keep you well informed and what needs to be done and give an upfront price after diagnosis. Work was done in a very timely manner. They provide a detailed report of work to be done including photos when possible. Have been going there for years (formerly Blaine Auto & Transmission) and would highly recommend.

Very efficient, was able to get my truck in and out quickly with no hassle. Needed a loaner vehicle and they had one without charge so worked out great. Will definitely return for any future service.

I don’t normally bring my vehicle in to get repaired. The issue I was having was electrical and I exhausted every option I could think of. Towed my truck in and these guys were able to get to it within a day. They communicated every step of the way and found the problem really fast. It was a simple repair for them and my truck was up and running. I was blown away with the professionalism of this shop. They have me as a forever customer.

Oil change service was performed promptly at scheduled appointment time. Also did an inspection, and an additional repair was needed. Suggested if I had an extended warranty, have the dealer repair. I recently took my SUV in for what I believed was a rear differential issue, but after a thorough inspection, it turned out to be the wheel bearing hub—just as I and GVT had suspected! I requested a loaner vehicle while the inspection was being completed, and they provided one that same morning. Shortly after, I received a detailed list of findings—more than I had expected—but I appreciated the transparency. I was able to move forward with the necessary repairs and an oil change, and I was back on the road within just a few hours! I’m definitely planning to return soon to complete the remaining repairs and get my girl in tip-top shape. The customer service was absolutely top-tier—friendly, professional, and efficient. Highly recommend!

Didn't just do the alignment and parts replacements needed to do a good alignment but actually retested things and found a bolt that had loosened because it was not properly installed at a different shop. The car would float a bit due to that bad connection. They performed a better fix by using a different bolt with nut for a secure connection. The car runs true and straight after these fixes.

I've never had a bad appointment there even when it was a different owner/namr. I've been taking my cars there for years. Shawn gives great advice on vehicles and maintenance. He has never steered me the wrong way. I will continue taking my cars there.

This is the ONLY place you should take you vehicle. Attitude and perfection is what Blaine Auto Care is all about. Took my 700R4 transmission there (carry in) to be rebuilt by Rick. There was a problem with 4th gear. We are all only human. Instead to taking the transmission back to them, I wanted Rick to experience the issue. I left my 1974 Corvette is his hands (Only I work on this car.) He had to remove the transmission and everything in its way. Completely went through it again and found a defective seal. Rick called and said everything was ready and good to go. As soon as I got on the highway, I knew it was right. I have never felt this 700R4 shift this great. Fabulous Job Rick.

They are the only place I take my car when it comes to maintenance or repairs i cannot do myself and have never disappointed me and always have an exact quote for me every time. They aligned my new 4 link perfectly.
