I've been shopping at Welle Auto Supply since the mid 70s ... back when they were on Central Ave just south of 694 (& back when Rick was still behind the counter!). Even though their current store is well out of my way, they're still my "Go To" for hard to solve problems! Case in point, I had a rear wheel bearing go out that needed replacing. I pulled the bearing and went to the other "big box" auto stores. Every replacement bearing they pulled off the shelf didn't match what I had pulled off. I even had the bearing Mfgr and P/N from the old bearing ... none of them could help me. Off to Welle I go where I had Chris Bowdich help me. We went 'round & 'round for a good 30 minutes looking up P/Ns, cross referencing, etc., etc. Still nothing. I go home empty handed BUT ... Chris calls me a few hours later with the part! He couldn't let the issue go unsolved and he spent additional time between customers doing additional research and he FOUND the replacement! As it turns out, this was a specialized repair bearing/oil seal combo that isn't the norm. Kuddos to Chris and the rest of the gang that go above and beyond to serve their customers!

This is the store that does it all. Paint and supplies at it's best. They have been there for decades. I highly recommend them.

This place is fantastic ! Nice supply of auto parts and auto body paint supplies. And the counter guys are fabulous. They made what I thought might not happen happen ! A+ guys.

I needed a custom mix of auto touch up paint. They answered all my questions and provided me paint samples to compare to my vehicle to get the closest match. It was wonderful that they were ables to mix it for me at that time.

These guys are amazing!! They specialize more in auto parts retail than repairs. They are honest, and if its a job they know someone else can do a better job at, they will tell you to give those guys a call. These guys saved the day the one time St. Cloud Tires Plus over tightened my lug nuts and then the Tires Plus just down the road in Blaine told me it was going to be 1.5 weeks &$150 to do 15 minutes of work and fix the problem the St. Cloud Tires plus created. Welle did it for free!

I have been bringing my cars here for 15 years. They are always honest, do quick work, and I've never had to return for any issues with the work performed.

Have had service, repairs, and counter service here. Real bunch of stand up guys. Very knowledgeable and courteous. Service prices are reasonable in comparison to other shops. Gave me solid estimates that were very close to actual cost. They have always taken good care of me.

Always a 5 stars experience. First went in at 16 years old not knowing sh*t about paint and still showing up 25 years later not knowing sh*t about paint. Lol. But, the staff is always great and always gets me all the parts I need to complete a job & honestly never over sells me on unnecessary "junk" Thank you guys. 😊

Customer Service here is top notch. John is very knowledgeable and willing to share what he knows. He helped me color match my car and everything. Great guys and good place to buy paint. It’s good paint but expensive.

Needed paint for a Mercury Grand Marquis. There are seven variations of Arizona Beige. Travis and John were very patient with me and taught me some important things about car paint. After the car was painted for repairs and some rust removal, I couldn't be happier to see that the color match was perfect. Travis's advice and help made the difference. John was also an incredible source of knowledge, which he was happy to share. This is the place to go for auto paint!!

Welle Auto supply is the best place you can go to get custom mixed paint this car has been painted for 35 years and they custom mixed the paint and it was perfect they are also very friendly and take care of your needs unlike a lot of companies I trust them and you should too I deal with them a lot they've never steered me wrong

Called in about a pint of paint, and they matched our color and had us come on in. They mixed it up and had us on our way in 5 minutes! Super fast, and handy.

Very helpful and friendly staff! This is a good old fashioned auto parts store with paint matching and mixing capabilities. I’ll definitely go back. They helped me find a matching color code for a set of Subaru wheels that everyone said wouldn’t be possible to match. Thank you!

This place has never let me down. They matched my paint for my car perfectly. A 2-part pearl color. My previous purchase from another auto store was not a perfect match. I should have gone to Welle Auto Supply in the beginning. The employees are very helpful in giving advice.

This place is wow!! When I first moved up here as a kid I thought this place is like a toy's store for people who love their cars. They have it all. Then when I started this job 15 years ago I had no idea the company I work for gets their automotive paint from this place. So of course I had to after work come and see the place again. Also to pick up the paint we ordered for customers that need something on their cars painted. Anyway I really do love this place and it's awesome to see it still going after all these years. Really tells you how great the place is.

This shop has an old school feel because it is! My family and I have brought our vehicles here for years. This is probably not going to be the cheapest fix you will find, and probably not the most expensive. You will always get what you pay for, the guys here are honest! I have rarely had issues with any repairs done here. When I have they have taken very good care of me and made it right, which is unfortunately a rarity when dealing with mechanics. They treat you like family because they have been a part of the community here for decades. Support local business and check them out!

Family owned, amazing staff, and fast and friendly service at reasonable rates. Don't be fooled by big box store gimmicks, Welle Auto Supply is straight up your best bet for quality service.

My 16 year old son went to buy a battery for his truck and they sold him one for $200 and then told him to go home and put it in himself after he asked for installation, told him it was easy to install! What kind of business does that? Over paid and underserviced!!!

Absolutely wonderful experience here! Being from California, I was not 100% sure about some winter car stuff. John was very helpful and went above and beyond anything I could have asked for! I never felt like I was being led astray or pushed to purchase something/do work that I did not need. Both John and Spencer were courteous. I would highly recommend Welle in Blaine to anybody, whether you need parts or work done. They will treat you right!

Stopped in to pick out a paint choice for a minibike restoration. The staff was very helpful and patient. Once the choice was made they had it mixed up in 6 minutes. We would have left sooner than we did but had to discuss restorations and what we rode in our childhood.😀

I had a major problem with my car last week and the men at Welle helped me arrange a tow and would have happily fixed my car. I decided the car was not worth fixing, so they then helped me find a junker to come get the car for me. I am very thankful for all of their help. If I need again I will definitely go to Welle again.

I like to support local business when possible and not to inconvenient. I've gone here a few times, they are nice and helpful. The store isn't as nice as some of their national competitors but it's a nice place and they usually have what I am looking for.

A quality business that is still family owned and operated. If you need car repair, supplies or a new paint job, Welle can do it well and, most importantly, honestly. This is one of the few places I know I can take my car and not get ripped off.
