I highly recommend this place at first I was hesitant because some of the reviews. But I’m glad I came quick service. Very clean and hospitable. Great customer service.
I agree with Robert. Got a wheel alignment coupon from Groupon, thought it was gonna be quick and easy. Nope simehoe I have a rotted bushing in one of my lower control arms and was denied the wheel alignment. Not like I was asking for a warranty on it. 35 bucks for a diagnosis. I paid 36 for the wheel alignment. 380 for the repair for a 80 dollar control arm that takes 15-20 mins to replace. Then the mechanic tells me the brake rotors have hot spots. Yes. I just recently swapped them and I had embedded them. 10 years of being a friction dynamometer tech at Tenneco should give me better knowledge on brake systems than the average mechanic. Ended up taking it back to another shop to have it looked at. It wasn’t dry rotted. It was the at205 I had sprayed to condition the bushing. So I don’t believe realistically most of their mechanics are even ase certified.
Pioneer Auto Care was recommended to me by a friend. The technicians identified and explained all the reasons I'd been experiencing problems with my car. They fixed the most pressing issues the same day and we made a future plan to take care of the rest. Every member there was courteous, friendly and thoroughly answered all my questions. *The only improvement I would suggest is letting customers know that paying with a credit card incurs a 5% fee.*

I purchased a Groupon for a front-end alignment at Pioneer Auto Car Care. Nowhere in the Groupon details did it state that they cannot perform alignments on lifted trucks with oversized tires. After purchasing, the owner told me their shop is not able to handle my vehicle.
I understand some shops may not have the equipment for lifted trucks, but this should have been clearly disclosed in the Groupon listing. Instead, I paid for a service they could not provide.
If you have a standard vehicle, they may be able to help you, but anyone with a lifted truck or oversized tires should know this restriction exists even though it’s not mentioned.
I had a terrible experience here at Pioneer Auto Care. The customer service was awful, the staff were as rude as could be, sarcastic, and dismissive when I asked simple questions. Instead of helping me, they acted like I was bothering them. Definitely not a place I’d recommend if you value being treated with respect. I wouldn't recommend at all.
I had a disappointing experience with this auto care shop due to false advertising. I purchased an oil change through Groupon, and the shop listed one price without mentioning any additional fees. However, when I showed up, they tried to charge me an extra $55 on top of what I had already paid.
This information could have—and should have—been disclosed in the advertisement. Instead, I drove all the way there only to be surprised with hidden costs. This feels misleading and unprofessional.
Transparency matters, especially when customers are trusting your business with their time and vehicles.
Went in for an alignment. Because the shop I always go to was a little busy. I would check them out. Due to control arms needing to be replaced. They wanted to charge 1100. We didn't agree to have them do the control arms for 1100 they wanted to charge $35 which was never agreed! Jerry didnt want to give the keys back until mention of the police. Then knowing that since there was NO MONEY EXHCHANGED AND NO WORK WAS DONE they cant charge it. Everyone needs to go to A and Q 1716 S merriman in westland which is another shop who cares for the customer and is not gouging customers. YOU NEED YOUR CAR FIXED GO TO A AND Q IN WESTLAND
The gentleman at the desk was very Personable and I don’t feel they could have a better person for the job! The lady at the desk across from the place you check in was pretty amazing too! I have the worst people anxiety, and they literally made me feel like I was at home! They were very informing about pricing and the things they could, and could not do ahead of time! I would take my car back! I definitely recommend you take your car there and see for yourself!

Exceptional customer service, all around outstanding experience! We were in for a 4 wheel alignment after having our suspension completely overhauled at another shop that could not do the alignment. The young mechanic who was working on the vehicle noticed right away that there was a issue with one of the tie rods, the boot was torn and it was leaking. He understood that we had done the work elsewhere that we would return to them to get the issue resolved. They did an excellent job communicating with us not to mention understanding what needed to take place. With that said, we decided to go ahead and just let them fix it after we discussed it with the shop who had done the work and said they would go ahead and refund us the difference. We could have very easily left and gone on back to the shop where we had started, but decided we wouldn't do that out of respect for the way this job does business. Thank you for your honesty and that goes a long way in this line of work...
Stay FAR FAR AWAY from this place. Worst auto care experience I’ve had. Jakes Auto Care works faster, cheaper and the staff is more respectful. It took them 4 months to fix my car! After about 1 and a half months I called to ask when they think it will be done only for them to tell me it hasn’t even been looked at despite them having been paid by my warranty company already. The staff acts like updating their clients is somehow offensive to them and are rude beyond belief. GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!
Took my SUV here for a pre purchase inspection and everyone here was great. From the front desk guy Jerry, to Abe who reached out to me to keep me updated regarding my vehicle, the mechanic and even the ladies who work here. Everyone was professional and was able to assist me. They even offered to help me find a rental car if it was needed. I would definitely bring my car back here.

8.25.25 Have to downgrade from 5 stars to 2. Brought my car back a second time using a Groupon. After car prepped for servicing, was informed that in addition to the Groupon, I would need to pay an additional $45. So the Groupon covered the service the first time, (oil change, tire rotation, brake inspection), and did not cover it this time. Needless to say, I will not be using this servicer again. There are different people this time, than there were before. Don't know if that means there is an ownership change or just new employees. But in any case, we are done here.

Absolutely Worst! I went here because my car was jerking due to not having a tune up. They said I need a major tune-up I paid over $2000 to them for it..why my car came out even worse to the point that kept my car for over a week and half just to say it need a new motherboard and was going to charge me $1600 for it. I went and got my car because at this point you are playing in my face and car. I went to another mechanic why they say they gave me a complete regular tune up and the cheapest spark plugs on it. The other guy charged me only $1100 and also $250 to fix my ac smh lol. PLEASE DON’T GO HERE BECAUSE ALL THEY WANT IS MONEY AND IS NOT LOYAL TO THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL. I will be taking them to small claims court over this. Thank you bye save your hard earned money
Brought my car in here because they were under my warranty. The job they did was fantastic. It did take a bit to get all the work done, but even as frustrating as it was I also understand that the best shops are the busiest, especially if they are a warranty shop. Abe was great at communicating and keeping me in the loop. Outside of the length of time it took this shop was great, and somewhere I’d definitely return too.
DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!!!! Came for oil changes and they turned the plug to tight to the point where oil was leaking, the oil then started to mix with my coolant and i had to go to another shot to get my car fixed! Started coming back k get oil changes and now my gasket plus plug is leaking, no oil was leaking after I got my car fixed at the other shop, came in today my oil was leaking fast so they definitely will mess up your car then offer to pay an additional $375 to fix an issue they they created!!!!!
Abe is a good person he looked at my car and didn't charge me. made sure everything was right with my vehicle. if you ever need a good mechanic go here .
Bad experience (Second time) (I bought a coupon)
This time he said i paid for the parts (brake pads) but no labor and wanted charges me $150 extras when i paid for brake replacement , no single parts.
Fist time i went for same reason Brake Replacement because i used to heard the squealing noise coming from brake every time i pulled up and He said the squealing noise came from the Transmission (No make sense, What I did was use my warranty at the dealer and they told me it was perfect)
I do not recommend this place.
I usually don't write against any business. I am very sympathetic towards the businesses. But this time I have to speak and write. I brought a car with one problem but never to get it fix properly. For the same problem, suppose to get it fix for $500 to 600 but end up paying $1500. There was no issue with battery, now I have to get another battery. There was no issue with park light, they were suppose fix, never fixed it. Owner said, he fixed it and checked but they never did. They said they have charged the battery overnight but gets drained next day. I never had this problem when I brought to the store. Also they were suppose show me the part they had replaced but both the time, they did not show me anything. Owner seems like he care, but in reality I felt being dishonest.
I would not recommend this place as choice provider.

They have serviced my entire family's cars. They are polite, professional, efficient and thorough. They explained the problem, solution and price before starting. I highly recommend and appreciate them.
I spent almost 3k with them. I am now never going back. They gave in wrong estimate of 1700. Lucky I took second opinion at dealership. Dealership fix the car for $130.00. I called pioneer and sent them the dealership invoice. They started ignoring me. I sent them email as they requested and called multiple for refund for wrong diagnostic. No answer. They just lost a good customer. I will suggest you all to be careful. Groupon customers- be careful. Don’t buy their Groupon. They do not respect their deals. When you go to them after buying Groupon they will suggest to apply that Groupon to some other work. I am done with this place.
I visited for a wheel alignment. The staff was friendly and professional. The technicians explained everything clearly. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. After the alignment, my car's handling improved noticeably. Highly recommend for quality service.
John was super helpful and gave a great first impression on what autocare services should aspire to be! Made my first time getting an oil change nyself (after fifteen years of driving lol) a positive experience. Definitely a people pleaser, and could immediately tell all the staff have a great relationship with one another and with their returning customers. Will definitely be back !
Terrible work. I had a front wheel alignment for on my car, which wasn't off a lot to begin. When I received my car back the wheel was now cockeyed and it pulled much harder. Turning right was firm, as it should be and turning left was very loose. Now I get to pay another shop to do it correctly. Don't waste your time and money. Beyond disappointed. I get to pay another shop at holiday time so it's corrected before my tires get trashed. I wouldn't return it even for a new alignment at no cost.
Received an oil change, rotation of tires & checked my brakes! Service was great and also fixed my hanging front bumper, free of charge. I believe the boss or owner came out and personally let me know they fixed it, very kind.
