The gal who greeted me was friendly and super helpful taking my recycling I carried into the facility. She came to my car and carted an old dehumidifier back inside which I greatly appreciated.
Used the service for a second time this year. Dropped off a partially filled propane tank, some old paint cans, and an expired fire extinguisher- $5. Great service at a very reasonable price. They unload the stuff for you! Highly recommended.
Went here on 8/23/24 to drop off some items for recycling and the experience was terrific! They come to get your stuff once you are parked without you asking and you just go in and give them the drivers license. If you live in the serviced area, you are done in 5 mins.

Had to come here to drop off some paint cans left at the house from the previous owners. Once I pulled up Shawne came out to my truck and greeted me. I told Shawne I didn’t have my current address on my ID because we just moved into Livonia. I was able to provide my voter card which had my Livonia address and she stated this would work. She was very helpful with unloading the paint out of my truck. Shawne is a great person to have working for your company, keep up the good work.

Even as a Livonia resident they charged me 110 bucks for 90 lbs of various fluids (in different containers) after they were dumping it. Maybe because I came in 30 minutes before close, and they seemed to think I put fuel in my oil. A less responsible person would be more inclined to dump their fluids in the trash or down the drain than take them here after this experience.
I called mostly for chemical waste. They were very friendly. Farmington residents can drop off FREE of charge with ID. Latex paint disposal is 75¢ a pound. Makes responsible recycling possible. Note: Their hours are 9-5 M-F Thank you!
I’m a Livonia resident and I was looking to get rid of some old paint. When I went to the website it says it’s a 5 dollars for loads under 100 pounds. When they took it inside and I went to pay they said $56 dollars. I questioned it and the man said that the contract expired as of sept 30th and he pointed to a little crumpled up piece of paper in the wall. There is no information on the website that says this on the city website. I check the company website that Livonia contracted through and there was no information in pricing. I was charged $56 dollars instead of the $5 dollars that the website said. Certainly this is false information. I listed the Livonia website photos with the information that is on there. This experience will be filed with the BBB.
I contacted them to help me getting rid of an old oil furnace tank. They quoted a fair price, came to check before the job, very professional and quick. I liked they are super honest, warned me about a potential delay on the schedule but called me and confirmed no delays. Great service!
Needed to clean out the garage and was able to drop off my paint and household hazardous waste at their facility in Livonia. Staff was receptive and efficient in cleaning out the car. Would Highly Recommend!
My comments are based on my observations as a Highland citizen, a volunteer for the event and as a Trustee on the Highland Township Board of Trustees.
Arriving right at the start, when walking past your refreshment tent I was greeted with smiles and enthusiasm even though they did not know me or what I would be doing. One of the first things I noticed was that your entire staff was engaged in a final briefing prior to opening the gates. I noticed that your operational layout was very well planned and did indeed function well not only for ease of those dropping off items, but for your staff as well in making their job as smooth as possible. The positive attitude of your crew and their willingness to help each other continued throughout the day, even to the end during takedown and clean-up. It is obvious that everyone was well trained/educated/prepared for their assignments. Equally obvious was the presence of management and other supervisory staff to assist and fill in as needed.
I know that those who brought loads of stuff were incredibly pleased with how quickly they were processed thru the lines. Speaking as a member of the Township Board and volunteer for the entire day, please extend my thanks to ALL for a job well done!!

Highland Township hazardous waste day was run very well. I only waited a few moments to discard my hazardous waste and everyone there was very friendly and seemed happy to be there. This is such a valuable community project and I so appreciate everyone involved to make this happen
Came out and did a great job but have been waiting months for a refund. Makes one worried as to their financial stability.
Yes this was resolved with a refund for services not used.
I really did not like my debit card being taken out of my sight to run but I didn't have $115.00 in cash on me to recycle paint that was weighted in my heavy totes. Bad experience!
I don’t know why google dont make -5* because this place is on the top,have a delivery for 8am and is 8:30 already and they passing me from one to another,no one knows what exactly they’re doing here and is pretty bad because they’re working with flammable products,worst place i ever see and is in middle of town,but yeah here people don’t count that much because is Michigan Detroit,I don’t know why i feel when i pass the Toledo OH is like in Bagdad Iraq and look like a different country and is no professionalism,never mind -5* this place
I had old gas in my snowblower that needed to be gotten rid of. My wife wanted to do the right thing and dispose of it correctly even though it was only a very small amount. So she called the city who directed us over here. She called and wrote down ver-batim what the lady on the phone said (that it was 75 cents a pound). At no point did the lady mention it was a $20 minimum. I had a 1/4 gallon of gas. I felt that I had to pay the $20 at this point, however this company needs to give accurate information over the phone and not attempt to screw over people who are trying to do the right thing.
