Had an unexpected issue with my jeep 15 miles from home at the end of an over 3 hr trip. Mike/Michael from Bobby's was there to pick me up within 30 minutes of my jeep breaking down, was super professional and fast as well as being kind and a genuine good guy to have a conversation with, even let me take my cat to ride in the cab with us as we towed my ride to my place. Really appreciate the good service and the kindness.

Very disappointing experience. The woman who handled our case had an extremely rude and unprofessional attitude, which made an already frustrating situation worse. My company fleet vehicle was held with repeated excuses and no clear timeline for resolution, causing unnecessary delays to our operations. We expected better communication and accountability. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this towing company.

The driver went above and beyond getting my car off a tight street and into the auto repair shop which was surrounded in construction. He did everything seamlessly, professionally and safely. For me, and my car. Would highly recommend these guys. It did take well over an hour to get to me. But otherwise zero complaints.

I had a four hour wait. I was fortunate my friend got out of work, and could help me. I get a flat tire after being in the hospital for a week, and they made every excuse why they couldn't get there.

I had to get a tow when my transmission went on the lodge. Every company I called was outrageously priced and had long wait times. Not only did Bobby's towing offer a reasonable price for a tow going all the way from Detroit to the far end of Downriver, the tow took less than an hour to arrive. The driver, George was quick, proficient and treated me with courtesy and respect. He's a stand up gentleman! You could tell he took pride in his customer service and he handled my car with care. Best tow experience I've ever had. Give George a raise!

This company is all about money! Doesn’t care about people and Kierra if that’s her name explained that very well!! Kierra was sooooo rude!! It’s cold and we’ve waited almost 4 hours. I just tried to ask questions yes being frustrated waiting in cold blocking traffic. They took my order knowing they could not fill it. Just a waste of 4 hours only to be hung up on. Rude! If you don’t want your job then you shouldn’t have picked it! I’ve worked customer service for over 15 years and I have never talked to a customer that way and I worked for light company before! I was caused out for people not paying their bill and still never spoke to them like she did. She need to grow up!! Don’t use this company it’s a waste of time. And if they picked her as an employee then have no taser or values.

Extremely disrespectful and disgusting customer service from the front desk lady. Not easy to work with at all. As a confused customer, you would think someone who has your car would be empathetic to your situation, think again. She walked away and ignored me for 10 minutes, questioned if my registration was up to date, made me pull it up on my phone, just to say it’s not valid. The process could’ve taken 2 minutes for me to get the registration and insurance out my car however my car was searched 3-4 times which felt like a complete violation of privacy. A 10 min process took 1 hour and 30 minutes. I work in customer service and know how to treat clients. The way I was treated today was not okay. Based off other reviews this is not the 1st complaint about this worker.

My car was vandalized right before the holiday. I had a tough day but the driver that was sent jumped right in to help. This turn my day around for the better. He didn't need a sob story to be motivated to help. He just seen that I needed help and helped. He got started and told me I can sit in the truck to warm up. 5 star service! He even referred me to someone reputable to fix my car and called and spoke to the mechanic himself. He was a young guy in his 20s.l extremely smart, polite and Respectful. He towed the car like he had 20 years experience even with a tire missing. He handled my car with care even in the rough shape from the vandalism. He said it can be fixed and he would take his time so he didn't make the car worst. This type of work ethic and Professionalism is rare and greatly appreciated. I had other drivers come and refuse to help me the day before which had me really emotional and feeling defeated. My apartment manager was threatening to have it impounded if I didn't remove it immediately. The dispatcher at Bobby's towing was very professional as well. I felt very supported on a very tough day for me.Thank you!

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I wanted to pump up their ratings due to receiving excellent service. My insurance company sent out Bobby's Towing when my car wouldn't start. I had tried to get a jump before calling for service, but it still wouldn't start. I thought I would need a tow. When the driver arrived, he asked if I wanted to try a jumpstart again, just to see. Well, it started when he tried! He was the nicest, friendliest most helpful driver I could have asked for. Thanks!

This place is horrible. They were late! Then they pull up to the place where the car was and text me. The text must not have gone through. But when I didn’t respond to the text - which never went through - THEY LEAVE. They see the car which needs towing, but still leave!! They don’t knock on the door. They don’t call. They don’t walk up to the car to see if I’m inside. They simply leave. Then, when I call to see where they are, Denise doesn’t apologize but gives me a bunch of lip and back talk about why I missed the text!!! Then she hung up on me, since the baby in the background demanded her attention. Unreal. Unprofessional!

Horrible customer service, requested a tow and the representative was acting like I was bothering her because I was stuck in the cold with a car not working and she was inside a warm building getting snippy with me on the phone. So rude and narcissistic. She Simply had an attitude with no and didn’t want to help me. It was that simple.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would!!! Absolute worst customer service ever experienced. The drivers have the worst attitudes and not a care in the world. Do better with screening your workers. The way my husband’s situation was handled yesterday by one of your workers was the worst. I would never recommend you all and do not understand how you are still running as a business. Workers are rude and think they can talk to people any type of way. That is unacceptable!!! Horrible communication skills and no regard to people’s time. I would not recommend if this was the last tow company in town standing.

They are unprofessional they have contradicting Policy signs they don’t allow you to be able to prove that the car is yours by going to your car so you automatically have to have your registration on you. They do not allow you to go to the car even when you have proof Car Insurance in your name they do a lot of stalling this place honesty needs to be investigated and put out a business. I know for sure they’re not doing everything by the book

This is the most disrespectful place ever and it needs to shut down payed for my car to be released at 10:30 the lady at the front desk put on the paper work it was released at 1:30 so I calls the main phone number to see why it hasn’t been dropped off yet and he calls me a goofy because I was reading the paperwork and on the paperwork it says 1:32 the car was released so once he says do you mean 10 goofy we started to engage in a back in fourth when all he had to do is say it was a mistake on the paper saying it was released at this time but it wasn’t released until this time I then ask for a supervisor he then proceeded to hang up in my face this place needs to be shut down immediately!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible service. They deserve to have their business shut down. These people are rude, hang up phone calls, and have the nerve not to pick up after ending the call, while I’m on the side of the road. The crazy part is my insurance reached out to them to assist in road side service. I told them to cancel them and to never use them again! DON’T USE THEM EVER! They suck and shouldn’t represent Detroit!

I was hesitant to use this company but I didn’t have a choice since it is who picked up my request for a tow through roadside assistance. Mike showed up and was so nice and helpful. He was so pleasant to deal with! I called the office before Mike arrived and the gentleman who answered was also very nice and helpful.

Ordered a tow truck through AAA at 12:45 eta was 2:40. The Lady at the front mouth is just so slick and bad attitude she clearly hates what she does.. i was calling trying to get a update on the tow and she just kept giving attitude and getting smart.anywho the tow truck didn’t arrive until 4:28 2 mins before place closed….. Then on top of that the driver left me after j requested a ride home with the tow truck driver.

Oh they terrible yall. Literally pulled up to the scene of an accident on a PUBLIC DETROIT OWNED STREET, IN FRONT OF POLICE, and said they wouldn’t tow the vehicle without a report. The report was not filed because it wasn’t needed and even without the expertise of 5 accidents myself in which I NEVER needed a POLICE REPORT NUMBER (namely because often times you get that, AFTER the car is towed, especially in Detroit, iykyk) even the triple a representative herself, said she’s never heard of this practice. Please don’t use them if not for an ABSOLUTE emergency (even still, you made need a backup) and be advised; the ONLY reason I gave them two stars, is because I’m assuming, Bobby is black. If not….here is my review.

Ronny towed my vehicle for Progressive insurance. He was very professional and positive. Ronny and Bobby's Towing helped me out during a very difficult moment. I appreciate their courteous service. No complaints whatsoever, much better than others I've used locally

After reading all the reviews, I honestly thought this was going to be a disaster. Surprisingly, it wasn’t. The lady at the front was very sweet and helpful, which was a nice change from what I expected.
The only downside was when I went on Friday—I wasn’t able to get inside, even though they were open. There was no one around to assist or show me my vehicle, which was frustrating and the car was left on the Mud .
Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but there’s definitely room for improvement when it comes to communication and availability.Apr 13, 2025 -
Customer service here is terrible, I stood at the counter for 5 mins before being acknowledged. Once she decided to come to the counter she did say “hello, how are you?” Nothing. She said “I need your license and registration” very dry. Employees are rude and have No personality at all. They’re clearly miserable and hate their job. Especially the lady who took care of me. It was my first time and overall, I wouldn’t recommend a bike being towed to this facility. If I could rate zero stars I would.

Never used their service and I definitely never will on 75 going south and the tow truck driver turned bright lights on and blinded everyone behind him and was driving like a maniac. Very unprofessional

They sent a truck out to my place of work and inflated my tire when my own air compressor would not. The transaction was seamless and I was able to make it to Goodyear tire shop (where I ended up having to buy a whole set of tires.) The tow truck driver was a consummate professional.

We had a great experience with Bobby's TCB today. The flat bed tow truck was dispatched quickly, and our driver, Chevon, was proficient, polite and professional. He loaded us up at the BP station at 7 mile and I-75 where we broke down, and delivered my vehicle to the front of my house in Rockwood. In addition, the receptionist was great, and we shared a laugh before hanging up. Thanks for a great job!

The worst place to find yourself at. It’s a shame that this is where the city will take your car if towed. They are an awful establishment and so unprofessional. The receptionist is unbelievably terrible and not helpful at all. Rude is an understatement. Staff is careless. They will happily waste your time if you have time to spare them. Avoid at all costs. Don’t know how this place is in business, the moment you walk up to their office you’re being bombarded with signs and instructions… so inconvenient and obnoxious. Then they get upset with you for not being prepared even though they don’t tell you this information over the phone
I have read all of your reviews on Yelp and Google. You reply back to everyone’s review with the same copy and paste message. Bobby’s towing you are NOT holding your establishment or staff accountable for the mistakes and unprofessionalism this company continues to make. You claim you will improve and address issues but where are the implemented changes? You receive a terrible review every other day and weekly. How will you do better? How will you compensate customers for their time and money? Why are the same employees still being employed? What is being done about this? Please explain yourself.
