I live in West Virginia and had a hard time finding a part for my 2009 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Not only did Holbrook have the part, the customer service was the BEST!! Specifically * Nate* he was AMAZING and so helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this business.
Be careful when calling this place they will say they have the part but when you get there they will tell you they don’t have it or show you a different one
I called them and ask twice to make sure they have the right part I need and they confirmed they have it and they told me if I come today to pick it up they will do discount and they told me they have the part on shelves I drove an hour and when I get there they I found nothing and they have nothing on shelf.
First off let me say that I don’t understand why this place has so many bad reviews. I run an independent mechanic shop and have purchased recycled parts from here a couple dozen times. Holbrook is definitely in my top 3.
Out of the many purchases I’ve only had one or two bad apples. The entire staff is friendly professional and knowledgeable; Nate (the owner/manager) goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service and always found a proper solution any time we felt a part was not up to par.
I say always go with your gut when it comes to buying junkyard parts but Holbrook has long earned our trust.
Be careful when calling this location it's a girl who will say she has the part...but when you get there...then they tell you it's at another location.....so make sure you get names an ask twice We went all the way here because she said she had the part....then when we got there she said it was at highland park location....it wasn't even at highland park it was at on Verner & Livernoise location!!

Bought a 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid transmission. Nate was super nice and helpful. Everyone at this location was friendly and willing to help us load our part. Will be contacting them for parts in the future and recommending them to people.
Yes my name is Frank MacDonald and I bought a battery from Holbrook in what I was paying for it $100 bill fell on the floor and I didn't see it and the manager there and made an effort to contact me so they are very honest and I appreciate it so anybody wants Auto parts they're very honest and they made an extra effort to call me back and I appreciate it cuz they made an extra effort to do it so if you need Auto parts go to Holbrook thank you from the bottom of my heart I really appreciate it
Sold me the wrong alternator Its suppose to be a 2.0 L alternator. Not a 2.5 . I have no warranty because it's used now I just came out of 50$ and the car still has the same problem. A big inconvenience
This is a warning to others I have bought a transmission from them only had first gear upon them telling me to take it out bring it back for a full refund and when I did they refused and said that the transmission has been tampered with when it was there on transmission they sold me and refused to give me my money!
I’ve been coming here for a while and I can confirm that customer service has gone downhill. Let’s FIRST start of with that I got asked for an ID with my purchase but the person next to me that used a card DID NOT HAVE TO PROVIDE ONE… Second is that I was told that my wait would be 30 mins, took an hour… Definitely not coming to this location again!!
I'm now convinced, after buying a few used parts from them, that given the opportunity, they will rip you off. there's a back story, but it really doesn't matter.
I thought they were decent to work with, but no matter who you are or how much you dealt with them, they will nail you if you are not completely informed about everything, and the biggest thing..... They won't help you or inform you and for the little bit of money this is over, I'm glad I found out now before I bought an engine from them.
As a response to their lame reply:
You KNOW exactly what you did.
You KNOW you sold me a LOCKED radio.
All you would have had to do was inform me and others of this fact so WE can decide if we want to go through the hassle and EXTRA COST to get it unlocked.
But No, Your "policy" is to sell people a radio first. Then when they plug it in and find out it's locked, tell them "sorry" we have a comprehensive policy that states; your screwed.
I can see as long as you sell a part across the counter and it bolts in and whatnot there's no problem 90% of the time but when somebody needs a little extra honest customer service you cannot provide it. You know what you did. you scammed me and I'm sure many other people, the radio was a $70 education for me to never deal with Holbrook Auto again, there's a lot of auto parts stores around and I deal with a lot of them, I asked you for my $70 back and forget about everything and you offered me 25 bucks very laughable, so I threw the radio in the trash and I am buying a radio for my truck so I got a $70 Holbrook Auto Parts education and so did my neighbors shop. KMA
I'm a shop owner that has done alot of previous business with this location. Although I've talked to them on the phone plenty of times we have not met me in person. Went in today in my street clothes and asked for a couple of small parts that they certainly have available. Guy at the counter tells me the parts I asked for are usually broken. I've been in the business for over 30 yrs and trust me the parts asked for are rarely ever touched by a dismantler. Truth is he didn't see much profit in the parts I asked for so he just sent me out the door. Little did he know I would have paid nicely for the parts and I'm also a shop owner he's done plenty of sales with. Not any more, Holbrook is officially off my list of sources for used parts needed for my busy auto repair shop.

Vehicle in question was at your yard and the review is not because you couldn't provide me a service, it's because you could have and chose not to.
Miss that location being Big 4 auto parts.
The only person who has respect is the male guy working the desk. The girls are an episode of idiocy. Because the road is closed they will concentrate on those phones calls and ignore walk in customers. (Understandable) no public restrooms. Simply changed a battery in my mother's suv and they made a big deal about a core exchange on the battery. I had to walk out. Take my battery out (which I was about to do anyways) wait back in line just to "process" my exchange. The easiest thing to do should be to take my money. Really struck out today and let's just say I regret getting my other parts there now. I'll be going else where.
Definitely going back here anytime I need a part. Stefan went above and beyond to help me get the part I needed at the lowest price he could find. He was so nice and so was the rest of the staff. 10/10 recommend.
On countless occasions, Stefan and mark have been exceptionally well at providing service for me! They are very sweet, and love to help you solve your problems. I’ve never had any trouble with them would definitely recommend the shop!
I purchased a Center Console for my F150 from Holbrook on Allen Rd in Brownstown, MI and I have had nothing but good experiences from the beginning. I have mostly been dealing with Tammy and she has been an absolute Angel, she’s gone above and beyond for me texting me pictures and helping me make things easier but I will say the entire staff is friendly and I firmly believe that everyone there truly cares and they strive to make their customers as happy as they possible can, they truly know the meaning of customer service. Ron, took out the console that I purchased and he was amazing, carefully removing it and making sure I had everything that I needed before I took off, he helped me load it into my vehicle as well. There were some pieces that I forgot to grab but Tammy and the rest of the staff has been nothing but great about it and making sure I get those pieces. I did not know that Holbrook sells used and new auto parts but I do now and I will be going to see Tammy, Nate and the rest of the staff the next time I need some parts for my vehicle.
Had a great experience with Stef B. He was always ready to jump up and help me both of the times I had to go there. A bunch of helpful and friendly workers there.
Outstanding Customer service! Mark, Stefan and everyone were very helpful! I went to Holbrook to look for an out-of-the-way part. A clip for a fuel pump hose connection and figured it was a low chance of finding. Everyone went out of their way and they found the part! Would have been easy to just say "sorry, we don't have it" . Went here to get a car part and call the day prior and the lady I spoke to advised me the part would be ready and when I came on 4-23-2020 called inside the and gentleman that answers the phone advised me the part wasn’t in and there done taking orders for today. I advised him I called the day prior, wasn’t able to see the part to the car at all to see if it was a right fit, I asked if the part wasn’t a right fit is there a refund? And he apparently didn’t like the question and stated come on it’s a used part give me back your receipt and snatched it out of my hand. Very unprofessional and condescending behavior to customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone you never buy anything without seeing what it is first, especially without being able to refund it. The receptionist is rude too, and you come to the car to collect payment without letting customer come see the part you could walk customer back there to see the part, maybe hire a receptionist who can be knowledgeable about your parts, also reading other customers reviews very professional in the aspect of stating thank you for writing a fake review, these are people’s experiences with your lousy customer service. Take peoples money and dip. Without trying to resolve it.
They gave me the wrong door and refused to exchange it for the right door. They said they do not exchange or refund body parts. So i just lose my money? Tammy behind the counter is very rude. I will not be going back.
