Never came to help me and I called so many times this morning and I told him about yesterday I’m sorry for not calling to let him know that I changed my mind to come get my car last night but I had called today this morning to come get it my car for me he said a hour now it’s have been almost 2 or 3 hours bad business now I had to call another tow truck
This is my third time using them. I’ve been a long-standing good client of Bob Adams towing out of Birmingham since 1994. I called them first and after an hour of waiting around the driver called back and said there is no way that we can help you today, so I called my good friends up here and they had a guy out in 30 minutes, the same guy who’s been out twice before super nice super helpful and spot on with a good memory. If you live near or inside Detroit, I highly recommend these people, good, polite and professional!
Man what can I say? I was 65 miles away from my destination and they saved my life. The lady on the phone was such a sweetheart, laughed and joked with me to take the bad out of my day. Highly recommended. I’d give an 11 if I could
I’ve used them before in the past & my experience was cool & then customer service was great. I called this time around & was cut off before I could even finish what I was saying & asking.. very rude so I won’t be using their services, it’s called active listening..
The dispatcher was very polite and pleasant. She worked with me on issues I had such as not knowing exactly where I was stranded. They answered my calls quickly and payment was simple. The driver was nice and helpful as well. They sent me updates and were in continuous contact with me while i waited. Over all it was a great experience, considering my car broke down.
We had a blowout on 696 AAA showed up and Henderdon. We used our AAA. Needless to say from the customer service to the arrival.time was fantastic. Thank you for serving the community
This company is a disgrace I was waiting for a tow cause my radiator hose blew. After waiting for over 2 hours the driver to show up he shows up under the influence. I call him out and he starts raising his voice at me . I told him forget it I don't want the tow I got in my car and called another company. Stay away from this company very very unprofessional. Beware

My son got a flat on the freeway without a spare. These great people went above and beyond to get him to safety, in the rain, and got him back on the road pronto! The price COULDN'T have been more reasonable! Highly recommended!!!
I called to have my vehicle picked up and taken to the dealership. The dispatch was polite and efficient. The driver called to clarify the details because I did not have the keys. Once he got the vehicle unlocked we found that the steering wheel was missing. He did his thing and got the car hooked up and to the dealership as requested. Reasonable time and price.
The operator/customer service representative (a woman) over the phone was very kind & efficiently/quickly gathered my information to start the process for towing my vehicle. Once the representative grabbed my information, a tow truck driver was able to get to my location (off the freeway) within 10-15mins. Tyson was the driver who picked me up and he was very polite, fast & had great customer service skills! I was dropped off to my desired location safely & w/ no issues. Making a payment was very easy (sent a text w/ a link to make payment- can use Apple Pay) & not too expensive (10miles was $185-$188). Thank you Henderson for your services; I’ll be recommending your services!
Horrible customer service we have been waiting for a tow truck from them since 834 am was the first time told to us then it went 945 to 1130 Ms. Tara office manager says it was always scheduled for 1 pm when she arrived for her shift she called at 253 pm with a nasty attitude stating it will be another 1.5 hours before a tow and advised me to call AAA and request another company which I did because she hung up on me when asked to speak with someone with better customer service skills. So I reached out to Aaa after stating a tow was in route. of course Miss office manager says that was a mistake our car was still not in que in she confirmed she had just spoken to me. Thankful AAA records their call.So a day wasted on a service that this company was never able to full fill in the first place. So next up will be with AAA how do they find these companies to fulfill these request they have to do better. Being a member since 1987 no one should have to deal with this. Car appointment missed regular appointments missed and who’s to say when the mechanic will be able to get to it. Total inconvenience.
From the phone call to the technician showing up to service you, Excellent service. I have used Henderson Towing several times and the service has been consistent. Thank you for making a bad situation (car break down) a great experience with your company.
I'm giving this company a 1-Star rating and here's why. My brother's vehicle broke down in Southfield today at Speedway Gas. He phoned Henderson to obtain towing. The vehicle needed to be towed from Evergreen/Northwestern service drive to a repair shop in Canton. He was given a towing rate of $250 (outrageous) and was told they would be there within the hour. I arrived at 1pm to sit with him. At 2:15pm (1:15 later) we called for an ETA. Was told by a very unconcerned young lady, that she wasn't the one on the road and couldn't give an exact estimate. But the truck was currently dropping off another vehicle and the drive time from there to our location was 22 minutes. At 3:15pm (2:15 later) we phone again. Was told the same thing but that there was no ETA, and when the driver was on his way, he would text us. At 3:45pm (2:45 later), we received a text asking for our location when that information had already been provided to the dispatch. Instead, we called back to cancel the towing. We were able to reach T&Ts Towing who arrived in 10 minutes and offered us a much more reasonable towing rate and with a flatbed truck. I will never contact this company again, and it's unclear how Henderson got a 4.7 Google rating.
From start to finish Henderson Towing & Automotive is truly a gem! They are super professional and knowledgeable. Very kind to squeeze me in on an early morning Saturday. They did an outstanding job repairing our trusty Chevy Silverado. You guys are the best! Hope you are around forever!!!
Kimani and his partner swooped into action quickly after I got stuck with a flat tire. They arrived within 15 minutes or less of my call to the office. Great knowledge, great attitude, great service! Highest possible recommendation!
Henderson towing was great... they had a tow truck to me in less than a half hour. They keep you informed the whole time. Dante the driver was very friendly and efficient at what he does... I highly recommend Henderson towing and I would definitely request Dante
Henderson was amazing! They quickly dispatched a tow and Steve was incredible. He waited while we got together necessary paperwork because the impound lot was having technical issues. He waited, found my car in the lot, and got my car where it needed to be. Everything was smooth, efficient, and the people were so kind and helpful. I hope I don’t need a tow again, but if I do, I will call Henderson right away instead of trying to deal with my insurance.
The receptionist was great! Pleasant and professional. After making my request for the tow, Tyrone was at my house within 10 minutes. Took me to my destination with no problems! Hopefully I won't need to use them again but if I do will have no problem their service Would recommend them to anyone that needs a tow.
Definitely the company I would recommend if you are anywhere near Detroit and need help. The dispatcher is amazing and she has excellent customer service when you call. The truck arrived in about 20 minutes from the time I called (which I didn’t even know was possible) and he took great care of my car. Reasonable prices.
Excellent service! Highly recommend. Tyrone did a fantastic job getting my car on the flatbed. Henderson tow was there swiftly. They got the repair job because of how wonderful the tow went.
I never write reviews but the experience I just had is well deserving of a great one! First impressions are everything and this company proved to be affordable and extremely professional from the very first call/contact. Driver was kind, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to place my car exactly in the spot I needed it. He contact as soon as I placed for a tow, gave me a estimated time each way, just awesome and black owned!
This is the second time I’ve used this towing company and I was just as pleased as the first. They promised to arrive in 45 minutes and they arrived in 30 minutes. My car was connected and I was at my next location in no time. The driver was courteous as I vented my frustrations about purchasing tires the day before and having a flat! Later that day I needed specifics to be on my receipt to submit to the insurance company and whomever I spoke with at the office was very nice as he prepared a new receipt and emailed it immediately to me. Thank you again Henderson for helping with brightening a rough Friday morning!!!!
