Update- Labor Day Monday Market was a booming success! Everyone was off work and out to see the market. There were rows and rows of vendors. From junk to antiques, collectibles and new items to produce, plants and food options. It was busy but plenty of parking. Vendors all seemed happy.
Monday after July 4th- Well that was disappointing. Monday is an odd choice for the fleamarket. Most visitors had already left after the weekend and most locals were back to work, and the weather was cloudy. Few vendors. And most of those present seemed very unhappy. They were packing up and leaving early. I remembered bustling markets from years ago. There was a plant/ produce vendor. The concrete statuary vendor was interesting. I didn't get much further because the others were obviously working to pull out.
Gone are the days of the market being busy, sadly. Very few vendors and shoppers on regular mondays that arent holidays. Too many people have multiple jobs these days and work so they cant set up or shop on Monday mornings ?
On Monday there are several vendors that set up and it's more like going to a whole bunch of individual garage sales. The vendors don't show up like they used to it used to be a much bigger event
Memorial Day let down, standing water & MUD made it miserable. Not much to see. Did find a few vegetable plant deals. Mostly China trash and worthless old junk.

Nice start for the new year with a ton of vendors. It was nice that there weren’t a bunch of duplicate vendors. Not very crowded but the dust was really terrible this year. Maybe a round of water on the parking lot a few times throughout the day would help that. Otherwise, looking forward to the next visit!
I love going here, just being out talking to people and looking at all the things everyone’s selling is a rewarding experience for me. I would recommend this for anyone.
Ventured all the way out there from Pontiac, quite the drive... Only to find it empty despite their website posting their hours as being open today till 7pm... VERY disappointing. A sign in front said "Open Every Monday"... Who's gonna go on a Monday??? Not us... Husband works and I virtual homeschool the grandson all week ?
We went for the flea market and was surprised that there was not very many venders less then 15. Found out from one of the venders that they are packed for the holidays. The venders that were there were friendly and the fresh produce was decent.
So much Fun Antiquing and finding Great Treasures there Monday mornings. The locals and Dealers are very Sweet. Also enjoy the produce and seeing the Mennonite and Amish coming to the Stockyards.
Went to a flea market here on monday. Many people are selling "vintage" items horribly overpriced.
Kids liked the cattle. I appreciate that the cattle cant be auctioned unless cleared by vet & ticketed.
Restaurant upstairs but wasn't open until dinner.
