I had a flat tire last weekend and was trying to figure out how to change it. Rick and his coworker drove by and happened to see me struggling on the side of the road. They stopped and insisted on helping me. They changed my tire for me without wanting anything in return. Their comment was that they were just lending a hand. So appreciate knowing my spare was on correctly and for their kindness!
Despite the snowstorms, they were able to get me home with unplowed roads in a timely manner. The gentlemen were very kind and efficient, got out of there in only a few minutes. Would definitely recommend their service!!
If I could give zero stars, I would. My son and his wife and two babies got 2 flat tires in the middle of nowhere. They charged $624.34 for a new tire and the service. They waited 10 hrs before anybody came out and when they showed up, the guy was in a car a pulled a used tire and rim out of his trunk and tried to hammer it on to my son’s car. My son had to stop the guy before he broke the bolts off. The guy had all the information about tire size and type of car. The guy said he would have to go back and try to find a tire. He called my son and told him that he couldn’t find a tire. And then the service was cancelled “by the company” and they didn’t say anything to us and refused to refund our money. I was on the phone with foreigners all day trying to get a status and they were of no help at all and very rude!!! When all was said and done, they were stranded for over 12 hours with the babies and no food or water. We had to call a tow company to get them and pay for another tire. I have been on the phone numerous times trying to get our money back and the foreigners I talk to refuse to do it and also refuse to get a manager on the phone or even send any kind of receipt. This company is a complete scam!! Beware!
I’ve dealt with a handful of towing company’s in my life, these guys are top notch! They showed up quick, they were polite and professional! Thanks for hauling my truck gentleman. I would highly recommend!??
Rick came out on a snowy cold evening to tow our car to the service station due to the tire coming completely off the axle. He was the soul of professionalism. He arrived more than ten minutes before the time we were originally given. He was efficient and moved about his work quickly and took great care to see that our vehicle was loaded onto the trailer safely.
I would 10 out of 10 recommend this company to anyone looking for towing service. Our experience was very, very positive. I would use this company again.

Scammers, they gave me an eta then they called me after 45 min because the drivers car broke down and told me they had a freind that can help me for an additional 200 dollars after they had already pulled out money from my account. I told them no and they said that’s considered canceling service and still tried charging me a processing fee of 59 dollars. Insane
I scheduled a tow for my car today, and they were able to plan on being out within the hour.
I had someone come and take a look at my car, and they fixed the issue before tow truck arrived.
I contacted them, and they told me to wait to cancel so I didn’t lose my place in line, and if I still needed him to call.
Even though they didn’t tow my car, they were extremely helpful and ready to arrive right when I needed and made sure I was all set before cancelling the service. Highly recommend!
I would recommend R&R towing and recovery!! I was stranded along the road with a dead alternator in my car. My insurance road side service contacted R&R. Rick who is the owner, was so nice, polite and so helpful. My husband’s car was at the same mechanic shop and was done with the work it needed, so Rick was so gracious to give me a ride to the shop he was bringing our other car to. I was very grateful for his service and he jumped the car to make sure the windows were rolled up before he left too. If I could give more than 5 stars ⭐️ I definitely would. I called multiple towing companies that said they were unavailable but I was stuck in a terrible intersection and R&R towing rescued me! They were so kind over the phone and came over immediately. The towing service was quick and smooth and they were beyond nice and really helped calm my nerves and stress about the situation. HIGHLY recommend R&R! Thank you!
Rick was the best! He went above and beyond to get my vehicle up and running. He even diagnosed a deeper problem when the first solution wasn’t working. Highly recommend!
Everyone I spoke with was very helpful and their arrival was as quick as they promised. Hunter and the other driver were both very nice and accommodating with where I needed my car towed. I hope I don’t need to use them again, but if I do, they’d make the experience smoother.
7/26/2025 I was passing through Holland Michigan, when my power steering failed. AAA hooked me up with RR Towing &Recovery. Owner Rick said he would take care of me! Gave me a ride & towed my car 2 1/2 hours back to Illinois. Very professional. Made a bad experience better.
The owner was on vacation when I called in to get a flat tire taken care of. Because his other drivers were out and would not be available for about an hour he came out in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them. Please give them a call .

I don’t usually write reviews, but RR Towing and Recovery really deserves the praise. The first time they helped me was on Easter, and due to a glitch with my insurance, I couldn’t process payment at the time. But they helped me anyway, no complaints. Even more memorable, the driver was training someone and used the moment to teach that sometimes doing the right thing is more important than the invoice. That left an impression. When I needed help again recently, I felt instantly at ease seeing it was them again. Efficient, kind, and just good people. Thank you.
Best towing experience I’ve ever had. The owner himself came out and assisted us. He went above and beyond in helping us with the start of the insurance process and made everything very simple.

I locked my keys in the car and RR Towing was able to come within 20 mins- especially great because I had my 2 kids with me who were all done. They were able to open my door in a few minutes. Would highly recommend!!
I would not recommend this place to anyone. I needed a simple tire patched, and after several minutes on the phone and speaking with two different people, they said they would be there within an hour for $180. They canceled on me and didn't want to give me my money back. I may be calling the Better Business bureau.
They came for a service call, jumped my car, waited with me and told me I’d be safe to drive home instead of towing to a shop if I didn’t need the tow. So helpful!

My truck stalled out on Sunday and R&R were so quick to reply and very communicative and helpful. They brought my truck all the way to West Olive area. They were friendly and knew exactly how to operate their truck. Because of their hard work and awesome customer service we had them retow our truck to a mechanic shop back to GR lol we will definitely continue to use their service and highly recommend them for any towing needs in the future ???
They went above and beyond. They took the spare parts with the car itself making it way less of a hassle to go back and forth. All for a reasonable price too. Even placed the car in the garage.
