Got what I needed but the employees seemed super disorganized, unfriendly, and unwilling to help me out, not to mention almost mixing up my order with someone else’s. At least they had good stock.
Where do I begin to express my gratitude to Will R!!!! I came into the store. His customer service was top-notch. He expressed what I needed and gave him the information. He came out to my car and even put in the air filter. I even offered to tip him and he wouldn’t take the tip. He is an awesome awesome awesome person inside and out and I thank him so very much for helping me.
Called the store first and went up there on 1/1/26. The older gentleman that provided service was nice and professional. Tried to give him a cash tip for installing my battery, but he would not accept. All he wanted me to do was leave a review although it is a bit delayed. Would go back to that exact store if needed.
They make up policies to screw over their customers, I bought a gold battery and it died 2 months later they then want to argue with me if it is dead even though my car didn't have enough power to unlock itself. Customer service here is crap probably mostly due to their lack of knowledge on cars
Called about needing car battery charged. Spoke to a guy on the phone. Explained that my car just needed to be jumped and I needed my battery charged and if they offered that service. First he didn’t know if they offered that service— had to ask manager. Second he didn’t know if that service cost— had to ask manger. He finally says that they offered that service and it’s free of charge. I say okay great I’ll be bringing my vehicle to you shortly. I arrive within 10 minutes, walk in and I say “ Hi yes I just called about needing my car battery charged” 5 guys behind the counter all staring at me as if I’m speaking another language. Finally one guy speaks and says “yeah we actually need your battery” I respond “out of the car?” He says “yes, we don’t have a machine that we can bring out to your car, and it’ll take a few hours to charge.” The few hours part didn’t bother me but the lack of information given to me over the phone about NEEDING TO TAKE THE BATTERY OUT OF THE VEHICLE before bringing it in was unappreciated. I ran down the situation over the phone with the guy from the beginning and said I was bring my car up there. I left frustrated and felt I wasted my time.
John and Nate were great in helping me replace my windshield wiper, they took care of it so fast and efficiently, I could not do it my self, with John and Nate’s help I have a brand new wiper, thanks autozone for coming in clutch once again.
Kuri at commercial sales is amazing with getting us our parts in a timely manner. He goes above an beyond to make sure we have everything we need. Amazing customer service!!
I can in to the store left feeling like i saved so much time. Scott was awesome he was able to check if I needed a battery or needed an alternator we found out in 3 mins! also he was very helpful even put the battery in very professional group of guys.

I've visited twice while on vacation. Both times I was very pleased with the help I received. An employee named Will helped me put blind spot mirrors on my friend's car. An employee named Reese helped me with valve caps on the tires on a separate trip in. Both employees were very kind and helpful.
Fast, efficient and kind! I stopped in after going to 2 other local places for help with my battery. John was quick to help and was both kind and helpful when I needed to make decisions on what to buy. He replaced the battery in my Pacifica and made my day, saved me hours of waiting and hundreds of dollars based on the dealership quote. Got me back in the road in maybe 40 minutes! Thank you, John!
I’ll be coming back to autozone and skipping Murray’s from here on out.
I am so impressed with the customer service I received today at the AutoZone in WALLED LAKE When having my battery installed.
They went BEYOND the call of duty in so many ways. I’m a new resident in NOVI and they will now have me as a customer for life!

I had originally came in and gotten sold the wrong part from my window panel switch. I brought it back to return it and Mr. Will R. was super helpful in that he got me my correct switch. Will had a wonderful demeanor and disposition and seemed like he was actually happy to help. Great people skills and skilled at his job. Very thorough and attention to detail. THANK YOU MR. WILL R.!!! It's service that that, that keeps me from going anywhere else. Much appreciated 😀
I tried so hard to give this place MULTIPLE chances to provide parts to my automotive shop. Epic Fail every time!! The commercial parts manager changes every week with a phone call chucked full of empty promises. Other commercial accounts should definitely BEWARE unless you're prepared for the angry customers that come along with using this store. Your promise times go right out the window!! If this is how commercial customers are treated. I can only imagine how they treat The everyday customer walking into the store. I have no idea how this store is in been still in business. Terrible management and customer service!
It was an amazing experience! I had a dead battery and they were able to quickly switch it out! Have been here before and will come again! John Z and Tez are the best!
Staff were quick to run a diagnostic on my car and let me know that my alternator was fine but my battery was only at 78%. I bought a couple of items and had no issues at all. Store was clean and well - stocked. Tez was very helpful with assisting in finding the products I needed.
As soon as I walked in the door Tez was able to make my day a little bit better by brightening it up. Not a lot of people go into the auto store frustrated but most will and having someone bring such positive energy to the local community will definitely make customers want to return. Just wanted to show my appreciation for his amazing attitude and work knowledge!
Donteze was extremely helpful and friendly! I had an oil filter with no number on it off of a piece of equipment, he did some research found a match, and I was out of there in five minutes. Earlier I was at the Murray‘s in Walled Lake, who are usually great, but the guy at the back counter said there was nothing he could do without a number on it, so great job Donteze At AutoZone
I had an awesome experience at AutoZone thanks to Tez! I came in needing help with my windshield wipers, and he was super friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to assist. He didn’t just point me in the right direction—he actually helped me pick the right set and even installed them for me on the spot. It’s rare to find that kind of service these days. Thanks again, Tez—you made my day a lot easier!
I never have a "just satisfactory" experience here. Everyone is always SO helpful and really go out of their way to help! Dantez is my new favorite go-to employee! Y'all are doing great, keep it up!
Aaron M was absolutely amazing, He helped me with my purchase and help me install my wiper blades during a mini blizzard. He was personable, funny, and provided the best customer service that I have ever had. If I could give mor then 5 stars I would. A true god send
Customer service was amazing! I came in with an almost dead battery and Aaron M helped me with the most pleasant personality which helped me a lot because I was frustrated. He was patient and kind with carrying my battery outside and installing it without hesitation. Appreciate the service from beginning to end!

I was humbled and grateful for the OUTSTANDING customer service I received from Aaron M. Talking to him on the phone and interacting with him in person was a great experience. I needed a battery and I called and spoke to Aaron M. He was knowledgeable and not misleading with the information that he gave me. I came from South Lyon to Walled Lake to get a battery. When I entered the store he greeted and ask how could he help me. I told him that I had spoken to him earlier about a battery for a 2017 Jeep Patriot. He looked up the information and gave the price for a new battery. While he was assisting me, he continually acknowledge each and every customer that came into the store. He processed my transaction and we proceeded to go outside and he changed my battery. He is an awesome representation of your store. This was customer service at its finest. This is how people working with the people public, should interact with their customers. I also would like to add that Aaron M. installed my battery and was not rude or impatient. He installed my battery with a smile 😁
I had the pleasure today of Aaron M., the manager of the Walled Lake store assisting me. He was very cordial, professional, and helpful, in assisting me with getting the item I needed for my car (headlights). He was nice enough to put them in for me at no charge. Great job Aaron!!
