Thrift store are always a favorite of mine as you never know what you're going to find. This will be my third time visiting this store and each time I've found some cool items. The staff is always friendly too.

The ladies that work there are very helpful and nice. They will take that extra step for you.

This my favorite thrift shop. Quality, cleanliness and family like atmosphere. I have to tell myself to slow down because there's something to see. It's the best therapy in the world!

I always find something fun to buy, the store is clean and smells good. The atmosphere is fun, playing music and supplying popcorn and coffee going to the store.

Lots of variety and quality items. I especially like their selection of paintings, children’s toys, and craft supplies! Their clothing section is a bit crowded and dimly lit but otherwise an excellent thrift shop.

A community thrift store offering a wide range of items. They mostly use a color coded dot pricing system, which can be nice and you can find some good deals at times. They have the best prices on used books in this area and I always find that those are worth a look. They offer great daily specials and are often including free books or cds with purchase. In general I find that their prices are relatively high for what they're selling. At their best they are a thrift store raising money for the community, offering 79 cent books and an occasional rare find at a decent price. At their worst they are selling the bags you get with your purchase at bath and body works or banana Republic for 99 cents each and occasionally a video game with no actual game in the case. Take it for what it is, a thrift shop.

I always love coming to the thrift store and seeing all the new the cool things that I would have bought new but found at a better price in just as great condition and it’s giving new life to things that otherwise would have been tossed in a landfill. The people are always so kind and helpful. Love this store so much!

Rude and aggressive owner. Overpriced garbage and no refunds on broken items that are promised to be working.... Never Again ?

Very rude owner. And staff. Overpriced items. They sell broken items. Please dont go here.also if you question the store the owner will block you from the page

Prices are ridiculous, and staff is rude! I would never donate to this place!

The owner of this place is rude and nasty as hell. She needs to be shut down immediately. Do not shop here. She sells nothing but junk!!!!!!!!
Nov 18, 2025 -
Sells broken merchandise and calls the police to remove customers that attempt to get a refund. Simple question, who would ever accept in store credit from a business with immoral practices?

DON'T shop here. If I could give this thrift store less than a star I would. Over priced, rude staff, and the disabled workers are treated poorly. The owner Melissa is a wolf in sheep's clothes. Her customer service skills are far from acceptable. The videos circulating on Facebook show Melissa's foul mouth, her lack of care for her customers , and her poor behavior towards the disabled community in Hillsdale.

Not a huge place, but lots to browse through. I found some things overpriced, but I left with many great finds. We'll worth the 75 mi trip.

Iv only popped in once but its a bit difficult to navigate and what I was interested in was over priced. May check in again but do not expect to make a purchase.

Staff was rude. She questioned WHY I was buying something. She didn't question anyone else while I was there. She was trying to guilt me into not buying...very strange...and rude. Some good prices, while other things were very, very expensive for a thrift store. Very cluttered and not well organized.

Classic thrift store. However they can be stingy on certain items. Sometimes you find really good deals other times way over priced. Everytime we go here we let our son pick something out. He loves humpty and found a circular toy with eyes and a mouth (Dr Eggman). Mind you this you was a very old scratched up MISSING ALL ITS LIMBS toy and they wanted $6.99 for this toy. When asked about the price the front lady rudley said it "just needs a charger". So my husband gently explains to our son it's overpriced and broken so it's not worth it and put it back. Very unfortunate being a broken old kids toy. Usually clothes and nicnacks are priced well. Furniture is always high priced for used condition. I understand this a nonprofit and helps the community greatly. Which is awesome. My only concern is stuff for children should priced cheaper than stuff for adults. Especially if in very old used condition. We are a lower middle class family. We live mostly paycheck to paycheck. So when we come here it's a treat for us.

Their prices definitely have gone u. Their shelves are not as cluttered as they used to be. They appeared to be doing some renovations as you had to enter through the back door. It's nice that they cleared off the front entrance area, which was beginning to look quite junky.

They have some good stuff, but their prices are very high. They have a gaming chair there for like 300 someone gave that to them for free to donate it to someone that needs it that don’t have the money and they’re gonna sell it for that much ? and I got, a small chair there and it was $15 and it was really dirty and there was fingernails in it and I didn’t think it was worth 15 but I did want the chair so I asked them to move down the price and she moved it down to 10 but still a lot but they really do charge a lot for everything. It’s a very expensive thrift store with not that much good stuff in it.

The woman who runs this place eavesdropped onto a conversation my mom and I were having about prices being higher than we wanted to pay. $3 for an old towel when they’re $3 at Walmart - new. I still had things I was going to purchase. If it’s too expensive I’m not going to buy right? I’ll choose the items that are a good deal.. would never go to them and complain about prices. But she butted in and would not stop berating our opinion, justifying her prices etc so I finally told her we were not being rude to her, this is when she told me she runs the place - which I responded with “okay, and?” After she continued on some more I decided to go put my things back… She continued some more so I turned around set my stuff on the shelf in front of her and walked out while she yelled behind me. I don’t care how much you do for the community. That is entirely unacceptable behavior. If you want to run a beautiful non profit or business … you’re doing it wrong.

This is not a review of the good that the owner and this store does for the community. The ways in which they give back are invaluable! I’ve been shopping here for years now (at one point, I was a weekly customer) and it’s been so disappointing to see how things have changed. I rarely shop here anymore due to the increase in pricing. Anything I’m interested in has a special “white tag” pricing which is comparable to eBay/reseller pricing. I’ve seen toys or decor pieces that are only 25% below retail, but showing signs of use. There’s a basket at the Warehouse for $19.99 that I’m pretty sure I’ve seen at Walmart for $8. I appreciate the pricing on clothing is set (usually, unless a name brand is found and pulled out for a white tag), but inventory doesn’t really change much. I’ve been stopping in looking for pants for my son and haven’t found anything new for a few months now. I appreciate what this store does for our community, but I feel I can only justify shopping here if I think of it as a donation at this point. Please consider bringing your prices down!

Editing this to add to my original review. Even after many reviews of their high pricing, they still continue to mark items way above thrift store prices. I’m adding pictures from their most recent Facebook post with price tags included. Two dish sets marked at $115 and $200!! Why? When they first opened, I bought a 30pc dish set for $4.99! And it was beautiful! They had 30% off coats last week. The coats were all overpriced, several had broken zippers, and even after the 30% off, they were still over $15 each. All of their stuff was so affordable before. I don’t even think I can follow them on Fb anymore because of this nonsense. Taking back my 1 star and giving them -5. Original review: Back when they first opened I was in awe! Affordable thrifting prices. Clean and organized and they still are clean and organized. But ever since 2020, they’ve gone downhill with their pricing. Inflation is a thing but not for things that are donated! I used to go in several times a week but now it’s maybe once a month if that, and I rarely buy because everything is based off of how much they sell for online. Don’t do that! Price it based on the community you represent and the community you want to HELP! I stopped going to the Salvation Army store once HCT came along and I’ve gone to Salvation Army more now in the last two years to find things that are affordable enough to buy. Sometimes you can find something worth the cost, but usually it’s all too overpriced for thrifting. Free books on Wednesday is good. Reading is fundamental and necessary for everyone. Just lower the prices. I promise you’ll get more business in turn and make more to help the community. Because right now, everyone I’ve come across said it’s become a joke. It’s more of in person online store pricing. Just go to Salvation Army if you want to thrift in the meantime until they get it together, because it’s not how it used to be. And also, a few of the employees need to be trained on how to talk to customers, greet them, and not ignore them during the entire transaction. I didn’t even know the transaction was complete until she told me because she didn’t say a word. I was standing there for a solid 20 seconds before she gave me a look and said “did you need something else?” I said no. She said okay? And then slid my bag to the edge of the counter towards me.

It's on the small side but has alot too look at. I hit the jackpot on wall decor baskets I was looking for. I seen a daisy cruel pic too for $2.50. I will be visiting this place again soon.
