I called trying to get a quote for some engine repair for my vehicle, left a voicemail and never heard back. Walked in and spoke to two different people who clearly recognized me as the person who called, but never bothered calling back. They refused to work on my vehicle and didn't even have the decency to call me back and let me know. Pitiful customer service. I would absolutely not recommend them based on that alone.
Have known both these fellas for years and wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my vehicles. Their pricing is fair and the complete the work super quick! Love having Pentwater Auto around!
I have a 2013 Nissan. The gear shifter was sticking in park and very difficult to put in drive or reverse. They saved me a trip to the dealership. They replaced a part in the gear shifter and now it shifts just fine. I highly recommend.
I've been bringing all my auto work here since 2013. Never any problems, and always a fair price. Their schedule can get pretty full in the summer so plan ahead if you can.
Great customer service, very reasonable prices, discussed my options and got me back on the road quickly. I don’t want my car to head back to the shop, but if it needs work, I will feel great about bringing it here! Thanks

Back in August my car died off their exit on a trip up from Grand Rapids. Their shop was closed but I had it towed there. They replaced my alternator the next day. A few months later I had issues with it. I returned the part and they were kind enough to refund the work they did. VERY professional. Thank you Chris and the crew!!

You’ll find another mechanic that cares more about your vehicle then Chris! Can I tell you how many times another mechanic is told me I need to replace a major component, and I bring it to Chris and he finds the one part of the component that went wrong. As a business owner this speaks volumes to me and helps me stay above water on my vehicle budget each year!
When our car created issues while camping and away from home, Google led me to Pentwater Auto Services. They were excited to help. When my car was towed over there, the next time I heard from them was a few hours later that the car was done...and there was no cost. NO COST. It sounds like it was a simple fix, but there are plenty of mechanics out there that would still charge or find a reason to apply cost...these guys are a cut above. Even when I insisted...they offered us goodwill and made our vacation hiccup a non-issue. These guys are great.
I'd say the best auto place I've ever been too, Chris the owner amazing guy all around, explained everything and hadno problem answering questions. Great work place great and friendly people and fast at their work and amazing prices. They put in a new motor for my truck in a day and a half... I recommend them 1000% to anyone... Thank you so much

I just wanted to brag about them, seeing as they have always been the only ones who have helped me over and over with all of my vehicles, when no other auto shop is even capable of diagnosing the problem. These guys just did me a HUGE favor of figuring out exactly what's wrong with my vehicle and then DIDNTy EVEN CHARGE ME! They charged my vehiclePentwater Auto Services is seriously the BEST place to take your vehicle. When I asked AutoZone of Ludington to jump my car after they tested the battery and then it died, they said "We can't touch your car now that there's something wrong with it." And left me there in the parking lot! What kind of auto store does that? Pentwater Auto is far superior to any other auto service that I have ever dealt with for my vehicle needs, and the customer service and quality of work exceed the highest standards. I would rather take my car to them than the actual Audi dealership "My Import" in Muskegon. Just had to promote them after seeing how amazing they always are.
