I had Merle’s Towing deliver a bunkhouse kit to my remote property on an Island in the UP and everyone I dealt with was professional and friendly! Dillan great in handling my delivery and my driver Trevor was awesome and very careful in sliding my bunkhouse kit off of his flatbed truck onto the edge of my driveway with no damage at all! I highly recommend Merle’s Towing for anything you might need them for! ?

What a great family business! From the first phone call to delivering my car to the hotel. I can't say enough good things about this business. I was broken down at the Rivermouth campground in below zero temperature. Mark picked me and my car up from the campground and dropped me at BDubs to stay warm until my car was fixed. I got a hotel for the night because it was too far to drive home to Waterford. When my car was fixed he delivered it to me personally at the hotel. The world needs more families like this!

Extremely helpful and friendly. Had an unfortunate deer accident, but they were able to go above and beyond to help me in the middle of the rain. Not sure what costs are like, due to insurance, but would highly recommend!

Made my dad for lack of a more accurate endearment drive from the lower peninsula to them to get my car out after running out of gas and having to walk miles to get home to get help..... not a happy weekend Correction- not merles towing fault all of this happened it's was just one thing after another, they followed their rules/laws. Just wasn't a good weekend. Start correction as well. My apologies.

Contacted Merles this morning. Car would not start. The driver arrived quickly. He was very pleasant- all went well. He told me what to do. Was very pleased with the service and the pleasant helpful driver.

Super Duty truck got stuck in the mud 1/2 mile deep in the woods. Required a tow truck to basically winch their way in and out for hours. Was seriously contemplating needing an air lift. Dylan showed up, heard about and looked at the job, and did not even flinch. I would have totally understood if he said “no thanks” and spun around! 7 hours later, after winching in and out about 15 feet at a time, through 6-12 inches of mud, we were both free! Not only did Dylan do the job safely and very well, he did so with good humor and we had a lot of laughs along our adventure. I can not recommend this long-standing family-owned business enough. First rate professionalism and customer service all around, and fine folks. No need to look anywhere else, they are now my go-to in the UP!

Always excellent service. Merle's has been in the Soo for a long long time. First place that comes to mind when I need tow service, jump start, lockout help, propane at the shop, etc. I call Merle's.

I can't tell you how many times I've called these guys. Dead battery, stuck in driveway, locked keys..and more. They come right over and bill my insurance directly. These guys are the best!

Our car had to be towed from Brimley State Park due to a broken power steering pump. The young man that towed our car was gracious and efficient. His kindness was much appreciated. Highly recommend!

Tried for half an hour to get our broken down van on his flatbed and finally gave up. The other company that came afterwards got it done in 15 minutes. I definitely wouldn't recommend Merle's to anyone.

Came out and picked up our truck right after our phone call. Did a great job for us and we are getting ready to call him again to pick up another one of our vehicles to take to the repair shop. Excellent service.

They charged 9 college kids $1500 after we called them and they quoted us $250-$550. Prepare to be ripped off.

I broke down on a seasonal road near Tahquamenon falls state park. I was 11 miles in off the highway. Mark came out and got the truck hooked up and brought me to Sault Ste Marie. He dropped my truck at a shop for repairs. He found me a motel with a restaurant next door and stores near by. I was very surprised and pleased when he showed me the bill, it was a whole lot less than I expected for such a long tow. If you need a tow anywhere near Sault Ste Marie, Mi. Call Merle's Towing! They will take good care of you.
