Be aware they will not stand behind their warranty especially on batteries, they sell it to you with a warranty but when you bring it back within a year of getting it because it died which they test and it says it’s bad they will not replace it…. I’d spend money anywhere else

Above and beyond! This store dropped off a battery for us to Island Airways to get to Beaver Island, promptly and carefully, free of charge! Thank you all so much -- our car will make it thru winter now!!!

We stopped into this store while taking a long trip a couple of weeks ago. Our alternator failed, and the staff here (especially Steve) went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed before sending us on our way. I could go into great detail, but I will refrain. Steve, you were calm, helpful, and sincere, and you give O'Reilly's a good name. The world needs more folks like you!

We received the best over the top service from the staff at O Reillys in Charlevoix recently while camping at the state park in our motorhome. The house battery died while the slider was out. We were in a rustic site with no power. Stranded. We called O Reillys and within an hour a new battery was delivered....and they even installed it! Super friendly. Kind. Helpful. We are so thankful. Made our day...and more.

I’m so thankful for the guys here they were VERY HELPFUL. I broke down 4 hours from home and they made sure my every need was met. From making sure I had the tools and parts I needed to even being caring and bringing us water out while we were trying to fix my car. Super helpful and very polite and caring. Robert and Ron saved the day! Thank you, I was stranded with my kids on a Sunday and they helped get my battery changed and got us back on the road. I’m so appreciative of their hardworking and kindness!

Went in for a wheel bearing and for a slide hammer replacement. I was assured by two employees I would not need a slide hammer..... Guess what I did. When I called to ask if they could deliver one four miles away..... The manager remembered the transaction.... Slightly giggled and was stuck on repeat saying "I'm sorry we don't deliver to residential customers". Like a parrot.

I came into the store with the whole list of questions and possible scenarios to why my car wasn't running. They worked with me for over an hour going through every single problem and giving me the solution I needed. With all the information they gave me as well as the tools to fix the problem they saved me thousands of dollars as well as hundreds of hours of troubleshooting. Tony Ron Emily went above and beyond to help me. Highly recommend using this O'Reilly Auto parts over any others in the area. I wish I could rated more than five stars.

Justin, the store manager took extremely good care of us! He went out of his way to correct a misunderstanding, and immediately took action to take care of the Zoulek's personally! Called the store in Charlevoix Mi. Tried to order a 4x4 actuator for a 2005 Ford ranger. She said they don't have anything and they can't get anything for me. I said that sucks because I can buy this on a large number of online sites, you're a part store and you don't have access to a common part. You should report this to your manager. She then hung up on me while was explaining why I wanted to shop local. She hung up on me. Nice. Zero stars if that's possible.

I coasted into O'Reilly's the other day on a dead battery and Justin (manager) helped me out. He took the battery out of my car to get it charged up and even offered to find me a ride to work so I didn't have to walk. He also put the battery back in the car for me so I could take it to be fixed. (it was more than the battery) I was so pleased with the customer service I was given. Justin was nice, helpful and showed nothing but professionalism the whole time. Thanks so much to Justin at O'Reilly Auto Parts in Charlevoix what a great representation you are for great customer service and professionalism.

I gave only 4 because everyone thinks 5 stars are written by the employees. I like the place, well organized, lots of choices, helpful people if you want it. I don’t work there.

Top notch!! We needed a wheel bearing and hub for boat trailer while in Charlevoix on vacation stranded at boat launch. No trailer repair facilities in the area?‍♂️ BUT JUSTIN went out of his way to find us the parts we needed and we got the trailer fixed. Justin absolutely amazing customer service. Greatly appreciated

Passing through Charlevoix on our way to Mackinac Island, early on a Sunday morning, our alternator failed. With no mechanic shops open, it was looking like we would have to get it towed, leave it in Charlevoix, and wait several hours for someone to come get us. With all of our electricals shutting down, and our battery spent, we were just able to pull into O’Reilly as our engine stopped running. About five minutes later, Christina and Emily were opening the store. They were fantastic, and did every possible thing to help! As we had no tools with us besides a pocket knife, they were able to sell us and loan us the tools we needed, as well as the alternator. Christina even came out on her break and offered some help! Thanks to them, we were able to get back on the road in just a few hours, and still made it to the island for part of the day! Thank you Christina and Emily - you are the best!

Don’t assume this is just a place to buy auto parts. Kristina diagnosed and solved an electrical problem for us that threatened to ruin a vacation. We were 1500 miles from home, nowhere near our motel and it was a Sunday afternoon. Her impressive competence is matched by her kindness. This is a special place and she is a special person.

The O’Reilly‘s in charlevoix has the best customer service I’ve seen in a while. When my car died in the middle of Charlevoix and needed to be restarted and attended to, an employee at the Charlevoix store, Graham, was generous enough to meet me where I was stranded and jumped my car, not only once but three times in the 2 miles that it took us to get back to the store. Upon further inspection The issue was found to be the alternator. A mechanic that was at the store at this time, John harp, was kind enough to offer to fix it right then and there. Not only that, but he waited an hour while I went to Petoskey to get the right parts. When I returned with the parts, him and Graham finished the car in less than an hour and save me the trouble of having to book an appointment to fix my car or calling into work that night. I’ve never experienced such amazing customer service and generosity from an auto parts store. I now recommend O’Reillys in Charlevoix to anyone looking for a good fix. I’d like to give a huge thank you to John Harp and Graham from the O’Reilly’s store, without whom I would have been in a very inconvenient situation.

Above and beyond! After having some car trouble on an important family trip, John Harp went out of his way to help me after his shift. This sort of selfless gesture toward a total stranger speaks volumes about the service you will receive at this O’Reilly location. Kudos to John for his willingness to extend a hand to someone in need.

Love O'Reilly's! Pleasure to deal with. Knowledgeable staff. And if you're purchasing something that requires installation on your vehicle (ie:wipers or headlights) they're right there to put them on for you. Great service!

I live on Beaver Island and a friend needed to borrow my car on the mainland. John was awesome! He came to the airport and put in a new battery and replaced a part for the wiring connector. He even sent pictures of the part that needed to be replaced. I'm so glad I chose O'Reilly for my auto needs. They rock! What an asset this man is to their company.

Actually I purchased a wiring kit for my 2029 FordEscape . From Auto value across the street from Oreilly Auto parts in Charlevoix , Mi. The wiring kit had not come in over 1 weeks time; and I expressed my delivery to come ASAP but it didn’t so I drove many miles to receive this important kit . I did find, the kit I wanted. Even though it was expensive. To me it was worth the wait! I ended up paying $152.00 for my special order . Like I said , it was worth it for me. So I can tow a small utility Trailor. I have been in this store several times. Most employees were helpful however, the last 3 times I was in the store, I received no help from the employee. I was forced to use Google and the company webpage to find the part numbers I needed. Still had no help even though the sign on the rack said they would help. I left without parts. Will not go back, will use Amazon or another store next time...

This was my first time and will be my last time In this store! The staff was very rude and not willing to help at all. The only exception being a young man( the youngest of the bunch) who was willing to help as much as he was able to but the other four that were standing around were very rude and acted like it was an inconvenience to have to wait on customers

I walked in today and asked for help with buying a headlight replacement for my Jeep. I was the only person in the store. The older gentleman was not willing to help me at all, and was incredibly rude. Will never be going back here. Ended up going to Auto Value across the street and they were so kind and willing to help me.

It's hard to believe that a large corporation would hire people with zero automotive experience when it's supposedly what they specialize in. The girl who manages there makes women, who actually do know how to fix cars look like idiots. They managed to sell me the wrong parts on 3 different occasions, all for the same domestic car and I was only buying brake parts. Not to mention they are much higher priced then the other parts stores in town. The ONLY thing they have going for them is the fact that they are open much later. Save yourself the hassle and consider shopping local. P.s. They like to brag constantly of their million dollars worth of inventory they carry in the store which must only be in detailing and additive products, they carry almost zero actual parts and customers are constantly made to wait several days for them to arrive.
