Came in with an urgent situation - trapped in limbo - and they made sure to address it as best as they could while being transparent, honest, and professional. Error message indicated it could have been a huge repair but Lakeshore Body Shop staff and Danny in particular said they’d assess the situation directly to determine what the issue was. They determined the underlying issue was relatively easy to fix (a single clamp needed) and charged an incredibly reasonable amount. They made sure to determine what the actual underlying problem was and to only charge for that - which was incredibly professional. They were also kind and helpful throughout the situation. Would give then 6 stars if I could!

My son is a student at Lakeshore High School and his Jeep Liberty wouldn't start when he was leaving to come home. I picked him up and went to Lakeshore Body Shop. They we're so kind and explained that they were booked up would fit him in. They towed the car and in a day and a half the car was fixed and ready to go. I couldn't believe the exceptional quick service and low cost for replacing a part in the ignition nevermind the kindness and honesty that was given! I highly recommend Lakeshore Auto for any car repairs needed. Thank you for your impeccable service!

We first patronized Lakeshore/P&R several years ago because it was close to our house. Now, after several transactions with them, I would recommend to anyone that traveling 100 miles for their services would be well worth it. First class operation.

On a holiday day off, the owner Danny, went above and beyond to provide me service. Great guy. Professional. Compassionate. Honest. I will spare you the details of my story but as a 40 year resident of this area I can say, without hesitation, do business with this fellow. You will not be disappointed.

The guys at Lakeshore Body Shop were so kind and helpful! My kitten crawled up into my dash board and would not come out. I just happened to find Lakeshore Body Shop on Google and stopped to ask for their help. They jumped into action, pulling apart my dash board and got the kitten out within 30 minutes! Not to mention they put my dash board back together like it never happened! Thank you so much!!

$35 to fix my tire that had a nail in it. The sign on the wall says 3% charge for credit card and no charge for debit. I was asked to bring cash back. They did get me out the door in an hour on a busy Monday morning.

They replaced my thrid break light on my truck. They were helpful on the reason why it leaked. And were reasonable on the price. They do more than just auto body. Give them a try.

Omg this place is amazing. I called them because I had recently broken off my fender on my car. When I called they said they could do it for free and fix the scratches on my car. Took about 3 hours and did not charge me at all. It was so great and they did an amazing job fixing the scratches as well! I called up another place and they were going to charge me over $800 to do it. AMAZING that they did it free of charge. All the guys are super nice overall great experience!! Highly recommend!!

I take all my vehicles to Lakeshore Auto Body / P&R Service. They do excellent work, are reasonably priced, and very open and honest about the problems my car I having. For oil changes, I used to spend over $170 just to get it changed. At Lakeshore the change the oil, rotate the tires and do something like a 30 point inspection. For my car it’s around $70 I recommend this shop to everyone!

Kevin and his guys took great care of fixing up my vehicle. They completed the work sooner than anticipated and, to my surprise, cleaned the interior also! Highly recommend this business for any of your automobile repairs.

Extremely efficient and very kind! I was stuck on the side of the highway and they came out to help me in timely manner and no damage done my car when they pulled me out! Highly recommended!

Had a door that was damaged in an accident. The wait was far out but the work and cost were all top tier. Highly recommend.

UPDATE: They ended up completing the work and the color was matching, so I am raising the rate from 1 to 2 stars (I still had to pay a lot of extra money in a rental car and they did not care about it) ———————————————————— Initial rate: 1 STAR I left my car for a work that was supposed to take a week. After 7 days nothing was done to it. We told several times before leaving the car that we would have to rent a car. Today they said that someone passed away 2 weeks ago and due to that they need 2 weeks more. I understand that things happen, but if one week ago they would have mention that I would have postponed the rental and come back once they are ready it would have been very different.

6/24/23 - Helped an out of town family on vacation with an older model vehicle. Super professional and kind, exceptionally knowledgeable. Provided much needed advice.

When a deer damaged our front end (a too frequent Michigan even), we limped into Lakeshore Body Shop because they were the closest we found. We feel very fortunate to have found Mike, Danny, and their team. We feel like we have a new car. They are friendly, patient, and best of all, did good work. Thank you.

Day one of our road trip and we were dragging a cover on the road under our car. Stopped to ask them for help and they removed the cover and got us back on the road in less than 10 minutes. Very friendly, and really appreciated them!

Great experience, brought them a late model van after another shop couldn’t get around to it for months, it had been half fixed, and they did a great job, fair price, great guys to work with. Danny put up with my calling wondering when it was going to be done, Mike was friendly and helpful and helped to use as many used parts as possible to keep the price down for me. Highly recommend them and I will be back for other auto body needs.

Quality of work is poor. Also an item that was very sentimental to me was broken inside vehiclethat was hanging from mirror.when I said something no mention of fixing it or compensation. Will never use this place again.

I called Mike at Lakeshore Auto Body and asked about getting a quote and was told I had to come in person. I came in person the next morning and Mike came out with a pad and pen and made some notes, took no pictures and never took down the VIN # or anything, just my email and phone #. I heard nothing back for almost 3 business days so I called. Could not get a hold of Mike because "he walked away". I received an email back saying he could not find his pictures or the vin. I told him he didn't take any, he told me to send him pictures and the vin. (Why did I go up there in person then?) I told him my business was being handled unprofessionally and I was no longer interested in doing business. My impression is they are unorganized and do not care about the customer. I would recommend going somewhere else.

I had my truck worked on for engine repairs and body work a few times over the last 5 years At lakeshore body shop. Mike and Danny have been great to work with Every time I've been up there. Totally owned and operated great guys definitely check them out.

The heater fan in my car stopped working. It was 20 Degrees out so I needed it fixed fast. Mike got on it right away and had it working in no time. This is the first time I have been to Lakeshore and I could not be happier. Nice job!!! lakeshore team!

We took my wife’s vehicle to Lakeshore auto shop on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. The owner Mike Pappa and I walked by my wife’s driver’s side of her vehicle twice in the daylight before we left her vehicle for an alignment. When we picked up the vehicle after the repair, my wife’s vehicle was parked so close to white car that she had to shimmy between the vehicles to get in her car. Once she got home, she noticed that the whole side of the vehicle had been scratched and dented. We then went back to Lakeshore auto shop and talk to Mike asking him what had happened to her vehicle. Mike responded like he had no idea. The guy who worked on my wife’s vehicle said it was like that when they got it. Obviously if Mike is experienced as he should be he would have definitely noticed the Side of the vehicle dented in and scratched before before his employee brought the vehicle in. The employee obviously parked my wife’s vehicle after the repair so close to another vehicle that she wouldn’t see the damage. The police are investigating and our insurance company has lawyers standing by. We also have a law firm standing by for what we can do to rectify the situation. I will do my best to encourage any insurance company not to use Lakeshore auto body shop.

Lakeshore Body Shop damaged my father’s Corvette during service, and has denied any sort of fault. We paid $2600 for a dent in the driver-side door, and damaged trim. Danny has been a nightmare to work with. Do yourself a favor, and go somewhere else.

We were told my wife's car would be ready on Friday. Late Thursday afternoon we were informed that it would not be ready in time. This put my wife and I in a real bind. The next day I was leaving town for a wedding and we are scrambling at the last minute to get her a rental car and arrange for someone to pick her up there tomorrow afternoon when she drops the car off. I understand things happen that are our of the shop's control. However, how they treat their customers is completely in their control. I called and spoke to someone at the shop to better understand the situation, and the bottom line is I did not get the impression that he gave a rat's ass about our situation. No apology from him or appearance of caring. We will not be using Lakeshore in the future and will never recommend them to anyone. Something similar to this happened when I had work done on my car a few years ago. Poor communication from them on the status of the vehicle.

This is 3rd time I've used them over the past several years. These folks were professional and did what they said they would do. And the workmanship is superb!! Just like new. They are my only shop in SW Michigan!
