I wanted to say what a wonderful service I received from P & R Service company. I had a nail in my tire at the hotel this morning and within 30 minutes Brad came out, took my tire off and was able to plug the hole. He made sure all my other tires were filled all within a half an hour. Amazing, all of this on a Sunday.
I was traveling on the road and my tire pressure indicated that it was low. I could not refill it at the gas station and found this place. It is closed Saturday and Sunday, but I called the number anyway and somebody answered. He came out and was so incredibly helpful and nice. He even took my tire completely off the car and we checked out what the problem was. In the end he didn't even charge me. I am so grateful that places like this are still around. Gives me faith and humanity!
Traveling from central Indiana to northern Michigan our camper tire burst, an hour later another one blew and we’d already used our spare. It was 8 pm and everywhere was closed, even calling the auto owners insurance line they don’t replace tires. P&R actually checked their own trailer tires for a match to our camper and came out picked up our rim, took it back to their shop put their own tire on it, and brought it back out to us! We could not be more thankful, and then as we got back on the highway we were entering really crappy roads and they called and led us on a path off the highway that avoided the poor roads and got us back on safely. We can’t thank them enough!!! Beyond helpful!!! Amazing service!!
Very fast and efficient. Took my car in because it was going flat and found a nail. I was in and out in less than an hour for a fair price. Bring cash, it will save you!!!
We had a blow out after driving through a pothole, Danny helped us find the right tire at a local tire dealer. When it was going to take this dealer hours before the tire could be replaced, Danny brought us back to P&R Service and put on the tire himself. An honest ~ going above and beyond ~ business.
We were traveling from Ypsilanti, Michigan to Chicago when we had a blow-out on the expressway in the middle of a snowstorm. Someone from P&R was out to rescue us within 15 minutes of calling. Our tow-truck driver, Brad, was super nice, and had us warming up in the cab while he got our vehicle loaded. And when he realized that they didn't have the tire that we needed, he drove us the next town over to a place that did. We are so grateful to our rescuer and his professional, efficient and friendly service!
I have to share how this business basically saved my life. I hit a pothole this past Saturday and it was after 8:00pm. All tire shops were closed. They not only replaced my tire but they came and opened the shop to assist me. They got me back on the road. I cannot thank these guys enough! Danny, Corey & Tim, you guys are the BEST!!!! Thank You Thank You Thank You!!! I made it to Chicago and back to Michigan without incident! 10 Stars!! Special thanks to Danny & Corey!!!
Great place. Our truck just stopped on our way back home to Kansas with our two toddlers. They came right, out towed us, and got our truck in right away. Really appreciate these people and their compassion
My mom was in a terrible accident and her car was taken by P&R towing. 3 weeks later when she was finally released from the hospital we wanted to get anything that may have survived from her car. They told me it would be $250 to look at it and we'd need to sign over the title, when i told him that was outrageous he told me hey i have bills. After calling my mom's attorney and the local police he was very courteous and helpful. Barring extortion and trauma profiteering I'd say they are halfway decent business.
6/24/23 - Helped an of town family on vacation when vehicle trouble struck. Super professional, kind, amd honest. Exceptionally knowledgeable when it comes to vehicles and safety. Quick response time and handled everything with care.
Prompt service, courteous employees. I have an older car (1959) they were very careful and respectful. I will call them for every towing need. I highly recommend.
I took my truck here when it was damaged from an accident and they did a great job with the bodywork. I am really happy with their service. I have also used their towing service. The guys are friendly and helpful. 🙂🙂
Slid off of the road in a snow storm. They wouldn't give me any idea on the price over the phone. I waited for over 90 minutes, which was fine because of the weather. The driver showed up, hooked onto my tire, and pulled me out in under 3 minutes. Drove to a nearby gas station, and he told me it would be $350. I've never seen anyone charge anywhere near that amount for a simple pull out with no cleanup. Absolutely outrageous.
We were traveling from out of town in our handicapped accessible van. The ramp malfunctioned causing a terrible bucking as we drove. We called P & R from the road on a Friday at 5 pm. They do not know us but they stayed open late and fixed the problem sufficient for us to get home. Their old fashioned service and care was fantastic and a real life saver. Thank you!!!
I love these guys! They have helped me with my old Rialta RV so many times I quit counting. I recently had some body work done on my car, i wasn’t in a big hurry but they had it for the amount of time they had stated, they worked with my insurance.
Good service but need to enhance their communication skills. I'll always bring my cars here, just wish they could communicate about length of service time and not just keep the vehicle over night without a call.... this is my only complaint, quality of service trumps this issue.
Great no-nonsense service. I had an issue with my car not starting and it thankfully was just the battery. They also took the time to put air in my tire which I didn’t even let them know about. Great place, honest quotes, and quick service.
From out of town and the car broke down on the interstate. Responded quickly with a tow and repaired the car - alternator needing replacing. The alternator failed less than a year later while still under warranty. The car was in a shop, back in our home state and P&R arranged to get a replacement alternator delivered to that shop in our home state at no cost to us. They went out of their way to honor the warranty.
Great prompt service, needed a tow for stranded broke down vehicle, they were there in 10min. Reasonable prices. Hopefully wont need them again anytime soon, but next time I need a tow they'll be the first called.
My daughter and I were traveling from Oshkosh to Detroit and, in the midst of I-94 traffic, one of our tires acquired a puncture. It was already almost 4pm and we needed it fixed. Luckily, P&R was able to fit us in and repair the tire quickly. I know that a tire repair is not the greatest money-maker for an auto body shop, so I felt very fortunate! Everyone at P&R was nice and my daughter and I were able to walk around downtown Stevensville, which was fun!
It was around 6 o'clock in the afternoon when I called P & R Services in Stensville because the van could not climb the freezing mound. It took about 45 minutes. They arrived, hooked a cable and in less than 45 minutes the van could climb. How many dollars did they charge a great abuser? $ 200.00 I would never call him again, and I recommend to the public that he be very careful with this opportunist.
Our out of state vehicle started smoking and the check engine light came on as we were driving along Interstate 94. We pulled off the road and I called a friend for advice. He recommended P & R Service, so we called them up and P & R Towing arrived quickly for a tow to their garage. Since this happened on a Sunday, the day that P & R Services is closed, we had to wait till Monday until they could take a look at the vehicle. They checked out our car early in the day and solved the problem quickly. We were soon on our way again. Thanks Al for your great service and fair price, we couldn't be happier!
For years and years, we’ve trusted our cars and trucks to P&R. I am always impressed that they care about their work. Recently, I bought an old truck and the guys at P&R fixed a couple of (I thought) difficult problems. And, they did it at more than a fair price. Highly recommend them! Okay, an example today. Burnt our tail light. VW dealer wanted $42. These guys charged me $1.67 to replace it!
My sister and I got a flat tire on the side of the highway at 11 p.m. on a Sunday in the middle of a thunderstorm and extremely heavy rain. Brad came out to tow us very quickly and did a very quick turnaround of changing out the tire. We were nervous because we were outside alone on a stormy night, but the service was great and so friendly. Really appreciate the service and help.
Jim from P&R towing was an absolute angel in my time of need. The service was quick, the price was competitive and fair and I got some helpful tips on fixing my alternator. Thank you again so much for such a great service, I even made it to work on time.
In trying to deal with an impounded car that was not my responsibility -- I was doing it as a favor -- I was berated. I spent hours trying to take care of a problem that should have been taken care of ages ago by them, and instead was "reprimanded" by P&R. Thanks goodness I don't live there, but if my car broke down there I would certainly call Miller's Towing first.
