RUN FROM THIS COMPANY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!! I hardly ever leave reviews for anything but this one is a must. I purchased a John Deere 244 loader from Don that was supposed to be fully serviced and ready work with no issues. The list of issues with this unit is unbelievable!
First off (for the serviced and ready to work unit)
It arrived with a broken windshield arm that was not repairable $440 dollars from John Deere to repair
Every light out side was burnt out (except for the flashing light) over $100 dollars in lights and bulbs to fix the lights
This does not sound fully serviced and ready to work!
Then first time using the loader 7 hours into the day the loader dies and will not restart. We called our local dealer and they found tons of cut and spliced wires in the engine wiring harness which caused a complete melt down of the whole harness and the computer to be fried. Thank goodness the fuses did what they are supposed to do or the loader would have most likely burnt to the ground. Repairs were just shy of $10,000 to get loader running again and Don Cook said to me on the phone he is not willing to help with any of the repairs. SO RUN FAR AND FAST DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE HACKING EQUIPMENT TOGETHER AND SELLING IT KNOWING IT IS NOT IN WORKING ORDER!!
Might have been the place for parts in the past. Cooks is an absolute waste of time. Reached out multiple times for parts. They guys working the office are arrogant and cocky.
I usually don't leave bad reviews unless it is seriously called for...bought a used Volvo mini excavator that was in non running condition, but was told it was complete and the only thing wrong was no crank-no start. I rebuilt and painted after repairing problem and installing thumb. Body parts were missing and they began hunting for them. They couldn't find them and began looking through their network of "connections" to no avail. Parts aren't manufactured any longer after talking to AIS Equipment.
Don refused to refund a dime and I am stuck with a machine that is incomplete. Do not buy from them...could not believe the attitude when expressing my opinion on the matter. They don't care.
Called on a telehandler they advertised as parting out. I needed the frame off the front. He was going to check. A week later got a call they didn't have it. Come on it takes a week to go outside and see if the head was still on the machine? Will never call them again!
Bought a JD 444H from Cook back in 10/21 unseen trusting salesman when he said “machine needs nothing”. It arrived with a blown turbo, bad hydraulic pump, and much more! Worst experience I’ve ever had buying equipment. Thanks!
I bought a machine from these goons and I shipped it down here worked it’s for a month and it died and now I can’t even get the replacement part like they don’t make it anymore now I’m stuck with a 50k paper weight
Not sure how much you need to spend here to actually get service. I've called at least a dozen times looking for parts over the years. Not one single time have I ever gotten a call back for anything I've been looking for. Most recent was a new quick attach for my skid steer. Said they had it and even gave me a price. Said he would have to call me back with a time when I could pick it up. A week later still no call as usual I'll probably source it elsewhere before they call.

I believe if you are looking for any used used equipment parts, these folks should have it. They have over 3000 machines on the ground.
Bought a 135G excavator from company. Spent a lot of money and it came with dead batteries. They knew they were dead because they had to jump to get it on the trailer. Should’ve credited me for batteries or installed new ones before it shipped. Bad business.
Couldn't be happier, I ordered a used Hydraulic tilt cylinder for my bobcat from a Gentleman named Jim Milbocker. When I received it, the ram rod on it was thinner then the original. I let Jim know and without hesitation he shipped the proper one out to me and sent UPS out to pick up the unneeded one at no charge to me. I realized I'm not dealing with some guys at a junk yard, I was dealing with professional people doing their best to make me happy and get my equipment back up and running. Also I shopped around for my part and they had the best price on what I needed.
