Went in for brakes. Picked up my truck to find the 4-wheel drive wasn't re-connected properly. They got it in and fixed that right away. Picked it up to find my gas guage not working. They fixed that right away. Worked for 10 minutes, then stopped. I'm not sure at this point what the issue is.

Living in Allegan means Big Red will likely need another alignment after surviving another summer of road construction and those sneaky, tire-eating potholes. But you can bet your bottom dollar (the one I probably lost under a car seat) that I'll be heading straight back to the wonderful wizards at Westside Auto. They didn't just fix my car; they fixed a little bit of my mom-stress too. They're not just mechanics; they're miracle workers with a serious knack for kindness. Thank you, Westside Auto – you're the real MVPs of the open road (even if that road is currently under construction). 7/16/25 The Saga of Big Red In Allegan, where engines hum, Big Red, a mess, its time had come. Six children's chaos, joy, and grime, Left marks on her, through space and time. My drive shaft groaned, a mournful plea, A job too grand for Dad and me. But Westside Auto, skilled and true, Knew just what Big Red needed to do. They saved the shaft, with careful hand, A thorough check, across the land Of wires and pipes, a diagnostic gaze, Through Big Red's mechanical maze. For every fix, no matter how grand, Westside's the name, across the land. They mend my car, with expert grace, Big Red finds peace, in their skilled space. Big Red strikes again! Between the 6 kids and the legendary Allegan potholes, my van was sounding more like a heavy metal concert than a family vehicle. I brought my 'mobile landfill' into Westside Auto, and as usual, the team didn't even flinch at the French fries on the floor. They tackled my shocks and exhaust in under 3 hours! Thanks to these guys, Big Red is finally quiet enough for me to hear my kids arguing in the back seat again. Best mechanics in town for keeping a busy mom on the road!

I had great service with this auto shop. From the moment I dropped the car off, the staff was professional, friendly and easy to work with. They keep me informed throughout the process and the work was completed quickly. I highly recommend them!

I was told my inner tie rod ends were froze on my 05 Buick ranier and it would be $700.00 to replace them and if I wanted the outer tie rods replaced that have to come off to get inners off that it would be $1100.00 so I went back to Grand rapids where I paid $286.00 for moog parts and got them installed for $120.00 . This place is a crook and I would not recommend them for any thing as the old inners are new, IV been a mechanic all my life and I'm 63 years old and don't take crap from nobody

I had tires replaced on a jeep wrangler the customer service was very respectful and helpful they kept in touch so I would know exactly what was happening i definitely will recommend them very nice there thank you for showing common curtisecy

Just had an alignment done and I have to say this is the BEST auto shop I've ever worked with. They are kind and courteous to every single person that walked thru the door giving them 100%. They did NOT try to over charge or oversell. They even swapped tires for me and did not charge me for it. And then when I came back a cpl days later and asked to use their air compressor not only did they say yes but the nice man came out and filled all of my tires for me. Hands down best experience I've ever had at an auto shop.

I bought 4 new tires based on the suggestion of a friend. They gave me 4 quotes for comparison on other brands as well as that one. They got the tires in quick, and scheduling, drop off, and pickup were a breeze. Took the car on a 500 mile trip the next day and everything was great.

I had a flat tire and ask if they would take a look at it. They were awesome and took care of it. It was 5 minutes before closing! Everyone was super nice!

I’ve had multiple tire mounted here an out of 3 sets I’ve had at least one tire leak out the bead not super fast but it’s irritating have new tires an all a sudden your stranded on a flat cause some one dosnt know how to clean a surface.

They were so very nice, talked to me on phone to troubleshoot a mistake made by well meaning spouse. Had towed there and fixed the issue quickly.

Made an appointment and was given a price. Arrived for appointment was told the price for the service was over $100 higher than quoted. Told it would be 1 and a half hour for the services 3-1/2 hours later not done. I believe my time is just as valuable as theirs. Workers seemed nice

Last time I come here! One of the workers stripped my oil plug during an oil change and instead of fixing the problem, they left it in. Fast forward to my next oil change, the mechanic had to use an easy out and hammer the plug until it came out! This is no good. I expect more from this company.

Friendly stuff but they are extremely incompetent, I brought my truck in and told them I most likely had bad U-Joints (I got on opinion from another mechanic) and they told me my truck doesn't even have U-joints, so I took it to Harringtons in otsego and they confirmed that I had 2 bad U-joints! Do not waste your money here like I have. They can handle simple things but do not expect them to diagnose any problems cheaply or effectively.

Westside completed the repairs to my AC system on time per their quote. Also identified a couple future repair items with no pressure to do the additional work but simply to raise my awareness of them and plan for it. Staff was professional and communicated very well on the progress of the work especially since I was out of town at the time, making this an overall great experience with Westside.

Took Westside my car for an alignment. The friendly and professional staff explained the issues with my car. They were able to diagnose , obtain necessary parts, and repair my car so they could complete alignment . Westside had to order parts overnight and offered me a vehicle if i needed one until repairs/alignment completed. Will use Westside service again..

Went in for truck hesitation when accelerating, loss of power. They hooked it up to their machine, and codes read fuel and oil problems ( no info, indicaters, or messages on the vehicle. ) They changed everything that their program said, gaskets, belts, fuel pumps, oil pump etc. 4700$. Got it back and still the same issues. They hooked it to a different mechanical device, and it was then the torque converter in my transmission. They gave me a better option to just change the transmission instead of rebuilding the torque converter.( same price) I was very happy being informed, but not happy that the torque converter could have been the issue the whole time. They have great communication, response time is great, getting your vehicle done in a timely matter is Great. I was given a better warranty and best bet, after almost 10,000$ of work in 2 weeks, they will fix whatever that has to do with what they worked on or removed. They did a great job.

Highly recommend! Had an issue with my son's GMC Terrain and they were able to diagnose it quickly and let us know what our options were. They provided pictures of what the diagnostic tools said as well as show us options of things that can wait a little bit and things that were necessary fairly quick. Stayed in communication had the vehicle done and ready for pickup before the originally quoted time. Very friendly and very professional. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Great experience. Just needed a tire. The front counter staff was very nice and accommodating. The reason service wasn't within 20 minutes is because they needed to order the part from another location. Other than that, once the part arrived, the job was quick. Thank you Westside for your awesome service!

My wife took her car in for service before making a drive across the country. For an overall vehicle inspection, ball joints and an oil change. Wife notices on her trip the front dust plate is hanging down. As well as the heatshield that sits over the exhaust. Which means the shop just decided not to fully install them when they were finished? Forgot maybe? Or Just decided not to mention during their "inspection" 2 separate plates hanging by a couple of screws? Either way for spending almost 2 grand on an inspection/maintenance you'd think you wouldn't have to worry about these things.

Westside in Allegan was able to get my vehicle in quickly and it was finished in a short amount of time. Prices are reasonable. I’ll definitely use them for all my car care needs.

Great experience!!! My son got a flat tire and I called Westside Service. Hannah answered the phone and assured me that they could indeed order tires and install them all in the same day. Luckily I had called early enough in the morning to catch their delivery. My son dropped the car off and they removed all 4 tires from their rims and installed and balanced all 4 tires in a very timely manner. We will definitely recommend them to everyone!!

The associate who installed the tires was very caring about not damaging the rims. He waited a small amount of time for a better machine. Sounds like a safety concern for the associates also. You should look into replacing it. Anyway he did a fine job
