My wife got in an accident yesterday and her car was towed to your shrewsbury location. We called to retrieve our belongings from the car and the person said they home and we had to wait till Monday even though your website says you are open. Then when I asked when they would be available the person on call hung up on me and accused me of playing games. Is this how you treat customers. Very unacceptable. Please contact us with an apology ASAP!
If I could give zero stars I would!! This place is completely unprofessional, when I came to pay guy was rather intoxicated or on drugs! He was complaining about counting cash that he had asked for, and proceeded to talk nonsense. He was refusing to give me and my boyfriend a receipt because we had went to the car to grab our stuff out of it and came back in for a copy of the receipt and he was basically trying to play it off as he didn’t even know who we are. The other employees had to apologize for his atrocious behavior. Anyone who has to deal with this tow company be prepared for high way robbery prices and ridiculous service!
The worst towing experience I have ever had. Does not even deserve 1 star. Dude just takes advantage of the situation, and increases the price for the towing as you speak. Was promised $150 for towing I didn't ask for, and by the time I entered the office to pay it, it was $225. Will be surprised if anyone other than the enforcement services work with them.
Charged me CASH upon vehicle pick up, receipt didn't match this business's labor cost and/or other expenses. My windshield wiper was also missing upon pickup.
Watch with prices with these guys paid 250$ to take my car only a couple miles up the street from my house tow truck driver took the longest route to try to make more money off me and tried to say he blessed me when I’m already paying 250$ had others for 145$ but wait times were to long
I am writing this review to warn about their pricing, particularly how they calculate the mileage. I contacted them for a non-emergent towing service from a private residence to a service center. The mileage calulated was old-school where they calculate twice the distance from their office to the final destination even if the final destination is near to their office. That ended up almost doubling the mileage cost. When asked about it, the person talking to mentioned that is how they calculate it and cannot be changed. I eventually denied their service.
I was recently involved in a car accident and loveys took care of my car. Very professional and courteous customer service. 1 star Reviews claim they were missing items from their cars, yet i had 57 dollars in change in my console and wasnt missing a dime when i went to the lot to deal with my car. Very good experience with loveys.
Tow truck driver is talking rude to my elderly mom it's only 12 degrees out thanks for the attitude don't use this company don't recommend driver has a really bad attitude problem
Had to have my vehicle towed after a accident the driver and dispatcher I dealt with very professional and Polite. Seems to be a rarity in the tow industry.
I called them on a Sunday during the Pat's game and they were there within 20 minutes! Thank you Lovey's! Of course I pulled in nose-first but Eric got me right out. Appreciate the professionalism and getting my car to the mechanic's for me.
Amazing service. Family member’s car died on the side of the road at 11 pm on Christmas Eve. I called and they were there within 15-20 mins where other tow services were asking for 2+ hours wait time. Super friendly and caring. Out of towners but were still treated like next door neighbors. Highly recommend you call them before anyone else. Thanks for taking care of us!
Not too different from other car impound.
They destroyed my original key though. I've never seen that as commonplace. They acted like they had no idea what was wrong. Luckily I had my spare with me.
It did take me a couple days to make it back, but when one gets their car in impound any additional difficulties knowingly put into practice is gross.
These guys are great!! George was extremely helpful in getting my car from my house into a storage unit, he made the whole thing simple and easy, and he was so nice. I highly recommend them!
Didnt use this service but I think you would wanna know I witnessed a driver tonight blatantly run a red light ...he could have really caused some damage and hurt alot of people with that careless act...
Professional courteous service. Very quick response time for towing needs. Family owned business with a great community rapport. Conveniently located off rte 20 in Shrewsbury. Your vehicle is safely stored behind very large locked gates, so should anyone attempt to tamper with your vehicle outside of hours, it would be visible from the very busy streets around the location. Your vehicle is very safe here.
My car just died and these guys came and took my truck and even helped me out as much as they could with prices. I even had my 1 year old with me and it was a cold windy day. So it was nice to have someone be kind at the moment.

I hope that these reprehensible vultures experience the karmic retribution they so richly deserve. Preying on low income folks is a shameful business practice.
Make sure you know exactly how much you have to pay because these people are theives. Are atleast tried to be. My car got towed 3 days ago. On a sunday at night. I called the next morning to find out how much it was going to be and the women told me $170.33 for that day. I called back because I wasn’t going to make it for that day & so she then tells me that she supposebly make a “mistake” and somehow the price went up to $208 or somewhere around there & I was confused because she told me $170.33. I let it be and wednesday I was able to get the car but the price was going to be $275 because of the $35 charge for each day the car is there. We go early to the towing place and as soon as we go in the office they want to try and tell us that we have to pay $310... these people pocket your money. They never have a reasonable price & they try to charge you more than what your suppose to pay. Luckly we made sure they weren’t going to play us because we paid what we were suppose to pay. On top of that they left my boyfriends car trashed. Lights on. Keys in the ignition. It was horrible horrible service.
Crashed my car after hitting a deer on 290 above Shrewsbury, the tow truck driver was kind and funny, but the two guys at Lovey’s were absolutely fantastic. Very courteous, outgoing and helpful.

We called AAA and they could upgrade Us to their PLUS plan which would cover the Cost of 56 miles, but it would take 7 days to activate !!! Basic plan only covers 3 miles....
Much happier with Lovies Towing prompt service and had NO problem getting the vehicle 56 miles in this same day!!!
