This was my third time buying a car from this dealership, and each time it has been an amazing experience! The first time, I bought a BMW; the second time, a GMC Denali; and now, the third time, a Cadillac. The service is always wonderful, with super helpful staff, ready to assist and meet all my needs. I recommend mass auto to everyone, Leticia at the front handles all communication. Very attentive, responsive and kind. Fernando and his guys are definitely the best mechanics around. The fastest, honest and he actually shows you what he’s doing to your car. I’ve used them for small repairs to big ones. They speak English, Portuguese and Spanish. Truly exceptional.

Very hard to communicate with and for the first time in my car buying history they wanted access to view our bank accounts and then stated we needed to send photos of our social security cards instead of just the numbers. We drove 2 hours to sit in the showroom and get no where in another 2 hour period. The vehicle we saw was beautiful, as was the price, but it was nearly impossible trying to do business with them and we weren’t entirely sure they were trustworthy in the end. Would not recommend after this experience.

Can't give 5 stars because I was unable to keep the vehicle I purchased through Mass Auto..it could not be fixed BUT Bobby & his mechanics went far & beyond to find out what the problem was. They were extremely professional, understanding & patient. I would definitely recommend Mass Auto (Shrewsbury) if you need service or vehicle purchase..they will stick with you through a vehicle sale or service. Thanks Bobby for all your assistance.👍
Yeah such a scam sells base model cars and sometimes puts faulty engines in them terns rhe check engine lights off with his obd reader and dosent care about the safety if his coustemers do not buy your car here Bob only cares about one thing and that is money
Great place to buy a vehicle. I found them on Car Fax . Got to take my test drive alone. After looking at three other companies I purchased a Ford truck here.
Service was terrible, the owner Bob is a hack this guy loves to over indulge in the "gray areas" he says one thing and does another. Bob finally halfway did what i wanted after serious run around and game play. My advice for anyone considering buying a vehicle from this place keep on looking, your vehicle is out there but i guarantee, it is not here!
At the end of May I had purchased a 2006 ford five hundred from Mass auto. Through the sales process the staff was very courteous and the sale process was smooth. The vehicle days later went inti limp mode intermittently. When brought to mass auto multiple times they were "unable to reproduce the problem" and told me to drive the car more. Since it sat for a long time. The issue was consistent and upon bringing it to my personal mechanic found out the Transmission Control Module needed to be replaced or reflashed. Unfortunatly the vehicle was totaled a week after by someone who had rear ended me. The insurance claim is still open because after 3 months, Mass auto still has yet to produce a title to the vehicle for me. I have tried calling many times. Lately my calls and texts do not get answered or returned. I would advise shopping at a more professional dealership
A word of caution to members of our community,
I just wanted to report some news regarding a recent purchase I made at Mass Auto, 56 Hartford Turnpike, Shrewsbury. I am not telling you that you should not go to Mass Auto to buy a car, however, I know that I will find a dealer I can trust over a dealer I cannot trust such as Bob Haddad at Mass Auto.
We needed a car for basic transportation and we did see an advertisement that made us want to check out the inventory at Mass Auto. We found a car that we believe would suit our needs. As with any used car, you're always concerned that you're buying a lemon. After expressing this concern of buying a lemon to Bob Haddad (business card title of Finance and Sales) he assured us that he would fix any major issue that the vehicle may have.
Within two weeks of the sale the vehicle’s check engine light came on. When we went back for service, they did replace one oxygen sensor and reset the check engine light. Within another two weeks the check engine light came on again. This time we were told you need to drive the car longer so that the oxygen sensor would stop the check engine light from coming on.
This proved to be inaccurate. When we did take the car to a reputable mechanic they let us know that the catalytic converter needed replacing. When I called to discuss this issue with Mass Auto they began a process of delaying tactics. One of the tactics was for Mr. Haddad to call his brother to find out if the catalytic converter was covered under warranty. After three weeks, the answer was "No". While we doubted it was covered under warranty, we wanted to give Mass Auto, Bob Haddad the benefit of every doubt.
Remembering we pointed out the issue only a few weeks after we bought the car Bob Haddad’s delaying tactics now turned into five months later. Bob Haddad/Mass Auto now stated that since it was five months later he was under no obligation to replace the catalytic converter. We look at this as a serious breach of trust especially after we were given the commitment that mechanical issues with the car would be fixed.
We did look for an independent evaluation of the issue so we took the car to the most reputable car service business we know "Rands Automotive" in Shrewsbury. By the way if you ever need car service you should definitely go to Rands. Rands confirmed that the catalytic converter needs to be replaced because airflow through it was down to 39%. Rands also confirmed that any mechanic should've caught this issues after the check engine light came on.
It is our belief that because the catalytic converter replacement could cost between $1000 and $2000 that Mr. Haddad, of Mass Auto, 56 Hartford Turnpike, Shrewsbury did not want to fulfill the promise he had made because of the replacement cost.
Like I said earlier, when I need another car I will definitely find a dealer I can trust because our family cannot trust Bob Haddad and Mass Auto a non-trust worthy member of our Shrewsbury community..
