I purchased a new battery from this AutoZone location and had it installed there. After driving off, my car was running fine. However, shortly after when I stopped to run an errand, my car would not start again.
I called the store immediately and felt the response lacked urgency or care. I was told, “Hmm, interesting, maybe it’s your starter.” After explaining that it was not the starter, they then suggested it might be the connections. Luckily, a stranger nearby had tools and offered to help. We discovered that one of the battery bolts had barely been screwed on.
This was extremely frustrating, especially after spending $200 on a new battery with installation included. I appreciate that installation is advertised as a complimentary service, but it should still be done properly and safely. Being stranded due to an incomplete installation was stressful and avoidable.
I do want to note that the employee who helped with the installation was friendly and kind, which I appreciated. However, the lack of care over the phone and the oversight in installation were disappointing. Overall, this was a stressful experience that could have been prevented with more attention to detail.
I visited last week due to issues with my battery, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received. Anthony was incredibly helpful, he went above and beyond to navigate computer system/warrant issue and assist me with my battery. Despite the freezing weather, he was outside troubleshooting and ensuring everything was taken care of. I can't remember the last time I experienced such outstanding customer service! When to this store 1/7/26 at 3:15 to purchase a flex tire for a tire emergency, the shelf had a sale sticker for $10.00 or so and normally they go for $14.00, when the ring up the product I was charged the regular price and not the sale Price I was told sale was already expired, why don’t you honor the sale price if it was they fault, but they know how to make money ,but don’t like to make a customer happy , I wonder why the parking lot is empty just saying, if it wasn’t because I need the product next time I go somewhere else
Super helpful! The gentleman who helped me, too the time to look through multiple new bins from a shipment they just got to find the wiper blades I needed. Then installed them for me and threw away all the trash. Great customer service!
I was grateful for the assistance on my purchase of wiper blades by Anthony and another associate. They actually came outside to my car and installed they for me. Anthony also recommended a local auto electrical service company for a problem regarding my radio system. Anthony and his associate were friendly and knowledgeable beyond my immediate purchase needs.

I go to this AutoZone all the time John and kivens are the guys you need To talk to they’re super professional, super helpful, and patient with people who don’t know what the heck is going on all AutoZone’s should model their employees after these two guys
This place is awesome! Ready to help me bright and early as soon as they opened and gave me a full diagnostic on my battery for free. Anthony is the godfather, there - he's the best!
The people that work there are very very rude. They are unhelpful and will not guide you to get the proper parts. I just want you to buy whatever you think is right even if they don’t have the pieces you need I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there.
Josh was incredibly helpful getting a new battery. Although it’s a Volkswagen and the car requires special tools, Josh helped me jump my car and gave advice on how to get it fixed. Thank you Josh!!
I went in 10 minutes before closing in desperate need of a car battery and Jen and Al absolutely came through like total rock stars! They not only helped me figure out which battery I needed, but Al even helped me install it even though it was technically past their closing time. I've never been given such stellar service from an auto parts store. They're the best!
I love the staff they are so helpful and kind. The new manager there now Claudia is such a sweetheart she help me find the correct windshield wipers and her staff was friendly and willing to install my wipers. Thank you Claudia and Cedric for such a help. :)
Claudia and AL are absolute angels. I was having trouble with my car battery and leaving for the 4th of July vacation. They both went above and beyond helping me to diagnose and solve the car problem and make sure I was safe for my trip. I am beyond grateful for their kindness and customer service! You both saved the day!

I came into this Autozone and Claudia and Megan help me. The customer service they provided was phenomenal. My truck broke down and I was able to make it to this autozone. They help me get all the parts needed to fix my truck and finish my trip back home instead of having to tow it. They were incredibly patient and made sure I got everything I needed to fix my truck in the parking lot even letting me use some loaner tools they had laying around.
I had my car battery changed a autozone with Cedric. He did a great job. He explained everything along the way and was quick and efficient. I was in and out in 15 min.
Megan Scott absolutely saved my day!! I attempted and failed installing new headlights. She is very persistent, humble, confident, kind and hard working. She's an exceptional asset to this autozone store. I 100% commend her!!!

Kievens in the shrewsbury store is awesome. I came in to buy replacement headlight bulbs on a Sunday 1/26/25 for my 2015 Toyota RAV4 and he helped to replace them for me. He informed me that I should replace both as that was the best thing to do since if I only replaced one and not the other, the other would eventually go out. Anyway he was very professional and willing to go outside in the cold and help me out. This isn’t the first time he has done so for me and I really appreciate his dedication to his job.
I hope that Kevin‘s will get some type of reward or something for his outstanding customer service and dedication to customers.

I bought a battery and Albert, the Commercial Manager and the AutoZone team in Shrewsbury were incredible and extremely friendly, they installed the battery for me. The retaining clip was seized, and they went above and beyond to fix my problem. What would have been at least 2 trips for me to the auto parts store, they brought customer service to the next level and did everything in their parking lot.

I've had really good service at the parts counter here for a warranty return recently, and in the past these guys have been good - there ARE worse car part stores but this one has been good consistently so I can recommend it, NP.
And they're open till 9PM weeknights - which works out great if your working on your car after work, right next to Home Depot too.
Worth the drive just for that combo alone.

I have been a customer for years and believe me when I tell you it only gets better. The manager Anthony is the best person that you ever want to meet or deal with, professional, curtious, downright great. If you leave there not satisfied there is something wrong ( with you ) because he will bend over backwards to make your visit great.
Every time I’ve ever come here it’s been five star service. . They’ve changed windshield wipers for me, key batteries, lights etc. today Manager Anthony helped me change out my headlight fast & efficiently. As someone who knows nothing about cars I can come here and feel confident that they are going to have what I need and help me correct the issue and for that I am very thankful!

I went to three different auto zones with nothing but a run around then ended up at this location and was helped by the store manager Anthony. He was absolutely amazing very professional very kind and helped with me switching out a battery within minutes. He clearly enjoys his job and treats customers very well! I will return to that specific location anytime I’m in need it’s a 30 min drive but worth the great customer service throughout the entire staff are very professional and kind! Thank you guys so much I appreciate it! Give them a raise all the other stores I’ve gone were just rude and waste your time. Keep being great!
I was in need of new headlight lamps for my Scion. Not only did the store manager, Anthony, double-check to ensure the right part, he also was very pleasant and willing to install them for me. He even showed me how to do it in case I ever need to install lights in the future. Very nice man. Great asset!
Went about a year ago, stopped in to pick up a new battery.. the removed thr old one and installed the new one for me.. all in a matter of minutes.. I love working on cars but hey having someone just do it and be done with it was great. And the gentleman was so friendly and helpful.. I have been back many times for parts and cleaning supplies for the jeep many times.
