Not trustworthy at all bought a car from them and was fine for the first few weeks then had to get repairs left and right after they said the car was in good condition brought it to my mechanic had exhaust issues and other issues with the engine do not buy a car from here !!!!!
I was searching for a used vehicle when I discovered this location. AMZ Auto has some great options, however things didn’t work out this time around. Ahmed was very communicative and will work with you to find a deal that makes sense for all parties. I’d recommend others to give this place a shot if they need maintenance or in the market for a vehicle!
They only sell problems that they buy from Auctions. Their Mechanic uses Band Aids to make repairs. After the 30 Days your left paying alot of money for repairs. Bad Business Ethics.
This is still early in the process because I have only paid for the car and haven't taken it home, but I am much more comfortable about how it is going than I would normally be.
The people there are hard not to like (I know they are trying to sell me something, but still). It's a family operation; there were 5 family members in the room while I was trying to work the deal, and they were all funny, nice, and seemingly honest.
Above anything else, they had great prices. I was not able to find prices that would beat what they were offering.
From how the experience has gone so far, I would 10/10 recommend AMZ Auto.
Just purchased a Ford Escape from them. Mike was very welcoming, calm and easy to talk to. I was quite nervous and he helped me with every aspect. They all were great. Ahmed and Jafar made sure that everything was perfect before I picked up the car. It was quite seamless. I would recommend this place they are fair and accommodating.

Jeff and his crew are the BEST! I showed up to his lot all upset/stressed out because my son's car was hit and totaled 4 days before he was due to begin college as a commuter to Bunker Hill Community College. Jeff was so kind and followed thru on everything he promised to us. Our mechanic drove the car which Jeff suggested and confirmed the car was solid and that the price we agreed on was fair. We had a couple minor issues over the first 2 weeks and Jeff's crew immediately took care of them. AFTER the 30 day warantee he fixed the interior light so that my son would be safe getting in/out of the car when it's dark out. Just bought a used car here and so far very happy with the car and the service we've received. Mike and the owner were very responsive to our questions and they took care of some items that needed to be addressed after we bought the car. Would recommend them to anyone seeking a used car.
I recently bought a car from AMZ and had an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and fair. The store has great cars at good prices. Highly recommended for a good car buying experience.
They sold me a used car (8k USD) which I didn't know they had reset the engine check alarm light. I happened to be on a trip afterwards so didn't drive the car for a while, and when I did the engine light came on. Took it back to them, they just reset the light again, and when driving back home it was on again.
The car had other main issues such as gas leak and very old brakes, which the seller told me clearly they were in good condition. I had to fix and replace them after almost having a major accident.
After driving the car to the dealership several times, and going to another official dealership of that car brand, I ended up spending 5k USD until the car could pass the state inspection!
One more problem; they are not a big dealership so they don't register the car for you. You have to buy it, come back in a few days to get the documents and take to RMV to register the vehicle by yourself, then come back again and pickup the car. My experience taught me to go to a big dealership next time, as I've never had problems in places such as IRA Toyota for instance.

Update:
In less than 24 months the engine stopped working on the road; I had to tow it and demolish it! So after spending about 13k$ on this car, I got 500$ for the scraps! I have been taking care of the car and this happened. I mean, if AMZ know anything about cars, they should not say the car is in good shape!
My sister, was just down there about 4 o’clock. Asked a question about a car. She was looking at a 19-year-old car. There was a hole and/or dent in the bumper. She asked about it and he said honey if you’re asking those kind of questions in a 19-year-old car I’m not gonna sell you a car. It was very rude and condescending.?
Never ever buy car from here. I bought 2012 chevy from here. Roughly in 1 and half month , car started to missfire, no hot air. And when took to nearby repair shop they found that one of the engine cylinder is totally burnt and all the spark plugs too. Need a new thermostat. When called the owner he says its ok not a major problem . When you take a vehicle to repair shop they will say this and that coz they need to make money. How about you?
I went for free estimate to fix the issue in couple of repair shop . The minimum cost was more then $1200.
Never ever buy car from here. They lie to you.

I'm happily surprised. I, like a lot of people have dealt with other used car dealerships. Knowing the business, I've had salesmen from other dealerships try to sell me a problem instead of a car and try to screw me over with fees and such. I can pleasantly say AMZ Auto, with Ahmed and his team is a breath of fresh air.
They sold me a 2007 Toyota RAV4. Mike, the salesman was not just pleasant but informative of the process. The car had one known issue which was the tire pressure sensors. They said that I could come back within 30 days to get it fixed by them. I withheld writing this review until today for that reason.
Not only was the sensor not working, but the muffler was rusted enough where it broke on its own a few days ago. Today is Labor Day, and I called the owner, Ahmed if I could stop by. He handled the situation perfectly. Acknowledging what was wrong and fixed the problem on the spot because his team just happened to be free enough in their schedules today to take it in.
AMZ Auto, is a dealership that takes care of their clients and makes sure you are walking away happy. There are no secrets to this. They just want to help. Thank you, Ahmed, Mike, and the team for the best experience I've had buying a used vehicle

Had to redo this review a bit now having the car for 8 months. The exhaust pipe fell about a month after having the car. Didn't think of it much. Brought it to AMZ and they said they would fix it for free, not to worry about it. Great surprise to be honest. I was very pleased! After another month... the exhaust pipe fell again. This time while on a business trip. Embarrassing. Brought it to them one more time. They said they were going to weld it and even brought out a new piece of sheet metal. Which is strange to me since it made me question... what did they do last time? Well it's fixed now right? Nope. Fell again for the 3rd time a few months ago. Had it checked out by my personal mechanic. He was shocked. It was more than rusted out. He had no clue what they tried to do but said it was irresponsible not to replace it. And the brakes and calipers were super old too. Which is funny to me since I recall the owner of AMZ saying that the brakes were fine they just had a bit of rust that will get shaved down while using the car.
Conclusion:
- nice people
- not a good mechanic. Don't take your car to this place to get it fixed. Duct tape held better.
- after buying a used car here, get it inspected by someone you trust.

I recently purchased a SUV from Ahmad and the process was seamless from start to finish. He was a pleasure to work with. I have also used their service center for work on my previous car and they were honest and did great work. I would highly recommend them for sales and service.
The most horrible experience ever. I went there very interested on purchasing a specific vehicle, when I go to test drive the car and see it in person, said vehicle had a broken windshield for which they told me they had no interest in fixing (the car wouldn't even pass inspection)? at this point I tell my husband I don't feel comfortable but he says let's give them the benefit of the doubt and talk to them. I give the $4000 deposit and proceed, the finance people call me to ask for the warranty paper that wasnt in the contract so I call him and ask him for it to which he responds by telling me the paper is there, I read the contract and it wasn't there so I let him know to which he tells me that if I wanted the car to just say I have the paper for the warranty so basically he told me to lie. Now I'm very uncomfortable so I decide to not go forward and ask for my deposit back and get this he didn't want to give it back... buyer beware !!!!
I was told that they were very knowledgeable with electrical repairs in cars. Three weeks and much back and forth. No return calls and then the problem has been mysteriously solved. His son in law said “bring the bank” when I asked for a price. Then I find out they detonated the front air bag and destroyed the front seat in process. Four months later and no return calls. “We will try to get you a new one from the junk yard.” Right
Came in for an oil change and tire rotation, the service and professionalism were amazing. The techs were very knowledgeable, explained all services and costs to me before working on my car. Happy to have found this hidden gem and can't wait to continue to bring my car here for service.
