If this location or branch manager, Bobby, tells you that you must pay upfront for a warranty battery because it’s out of stock, that is 100% false. He stated this was AutoZone’s policy, but after contacting the Corporate and regional office, they confirmed it is NOT their policy, and they never heard of such. It’s a simple transfer of old batteries for new if under warranty, regardless if they are in stock or have to be ordered.
Corporate was helpful and remedied the issue same day. Hopefully they can better educate their management.
Stopped in just to get my car battery changed. You know, that tiny little service an auto parts store offers? Silly me for thinking they’d actually help. Instead, I got told they “couldn’t do it” because they were short-staffed.
Apparently, swapping a battery is now a two-man Broadway production. Maybe next time I’ll bring my own pit crew just to make it easier on them.
Also asked the gentleman behind the counter to test my battery and the attitude I got you think I asked him for a kidney
Went to the establishment up the street O’Reillys was in and out in 15 minutes
This place is great!! The employees are friendly and helpful. The new store manager is amazing!! He is always willing to stop and answer questions when I go in and the last time I was there it was pouring out. He helped me find the right wipers (a VW) and then put them on for me in the pouring rain!! Customer service at its finest!! I'd recommend this store to anyone! Ask for Robert!!
I purchased a windshield wiper blade at another store. After playing with it for two hours I drove to auto zone in rockland Massachusetts. I asked the clerk at the desk if he could help me, after a minute or two he asked the manager if he could help me he stopped what he was doing and put the blade on for me. No questions asked. A smile on his face. Happy to help. Two thumbs up for auto zone in rockland.
I went to replace my left rear blinker and the store manager, Erin, was incredibly helpful. She even helped me to put the bulb in. She was very nice and incredibly helpful!! I would highly recommend AutoZone in Rockland. They were fantastic!!
I was out this morning to get coffee when my "FOB battery low" light came on. Since I never had a FOB and was in Rockland, I decided to go to Auto Zone to ask about it. Erin was so helpful. She opened the FOB, found the battery number, got a new battery, and replaced it. I was in and out of the store in no time. I am grateful that this was taken care of so quickly. Thank you, Erin. If today is any indication of the rest of the year, it will be a smooth one.
Super helpful and kind. They ran tests on my car and determined I didn't need anything. I didn't even buy anything and they had great customer service!
I stopped by on my way home from when I realized my car's key fob battery had died. I've never dealt with it before so I asked a man working if they sold the batteries and if they'd put it in for me. My cars 10 years old, nothing fancy. He was happy to help! It took him 5 mins to get it all set for me! I wish I asked for his name. He was very nice!
Everyone work their commercial side Saturdays should be fired. They have no respect and they don’t know anything about cars have people there that knows about cars and take their job serious. I waited 3 hours for something they sent wrong and at the end they didn't send it and its not the first time they didn't call they didn't say we don't have it just made me wait while the customer here waiting. the reason for the is post is because I called and complained and nothing is changed. so many times! I give them more then a 100k business and they never listen to the improvement that they need to do.
Came in for New battery on my 18’ Camry. Negative terminal was corroded and ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE BUT NOT FOR DAVID INGLE (former mechanic)!! My guy took and hour.. slow and steady and got the battery out without braking a single thing.
Even passing customers and the manger (who was pleasant) doubted he’d get it off without damage. A++ service, knowledgeable, and hilarious sense of humor. So glad I ended up with him, and I know he saved me $$$ had I went to a mechanic. KEEP THIS GUY AROUND ($$ bless him at review time), because you don’t find this kind of diligence as often as we should!! Will def come back to this branch indefinitely.
The auto zone in Rockland is where I go when my check engine light comes on. I have a diagnostic app for vehicles. It only shows any safety issues. Auto zone does it for free (diagnostics). It covers any other problems that Your vehicle may have. Due to the awesome technology, where the car will park itself,or if your gas cap is lose,etc. They also put the windshield wipers on your car when you buy them there. Plus, if you go there to get your car problem looked for, there's 2 guys and they are happy to help. Which is a rarity these days.
Bought a battery here for my car and they refused to install the battery because the computer said it would take an hour. I was okay with the wait but the associate said they are not going to install it for me. Returned the battery. Poor customer service will create a negative compounding effect on your business. Lost me as a customer especially with O’Reilly down the street with great customer service.
My battery went dead, they tested it and replaced it, free of charge under the warranty, it was amazing. I went in expecting issues, and there weren't any. Thanks AZ!
I went here for a blinker for my car. They were very nice and found what I needed. The blinker was a two pack and was not to pricy, but a little. I would recommend this place for small parts, like a headlight or a blinker. Overall, this is a great car parts place and I hope this review helps!
I needed a new Battery. Dillon made the process as easy as could be. He tested, recommended, and replaced the battery so fast. I was impressed with his great Customer Service. What a nice kid. AutoZone is lucky to have him working there.
Walked for baulb for my headlight replace both hi beam light person behind the counter has a lot of knowledge I also was looking for struts for my van I will return I will recommend this place 100%
I needed 5 different things in different categories so I started walking around the store. I was asked multiple times by different people if I needed help. I decided assistants and was able to find everything on my own. The store was neat and organized so it made it easy. I was greeted just as friendly on check out and everything went smoothly. I would recommend this store.
Went into store put what I needed on check out, waited 15 min went to o"Riellys, same thing happened time before that. Won't go back learned my lesson!
Great store, always knowledgeable about what I'm inquiring about. If they don't have the part will find out where you can get it or have it shipped to the store. That's only happened once and I seem to be in there alot for multiple vehicle's. Bob seems to be the associate who's brain I pick the most with questions. I've never walked out not being a Satisfied customer. There's also a new teenager associate who has helped me multiple times lately matching screws, nuts and the plastic rivit's. Wish I could give him props, but I'm drawing a blank on his name. Either way I haven't left the store unhappy
The employees that work are very helpful. I needed a new car battery or new alternator and they checked it for free and to my wallets relief was only a battery issue. They even lent me their tools to let me put the battery in.
Bought an alternator for my 2007 Toyota Corolla two years ago. Gave the card of my daughter about 6 months ago and she's been using it ever since living in Rockland. I went to the local AutoZone and they tested the old one and found out it failed. I forgot they told me it was a lifetime warranty I turned the old one in. Great job Rockland AutoZone
