I remember coming to this camp when I was a child in the late '90s. Back then they had canoeing, swimming classes, campfires, and cabins for the kids, my cabin even had a secret door! I can't wait for my kid to be old enough to go!

Went for a Halloween festival, awesome camp location. I Was surprised the camp has horses and I assume riding lessons!

Great little spot for the kids to enjoy and cook off on a hot summer day ? Staff is attentive and kind. The bathrooms and other facilities are always clean and well taken care of.

A nice camp from visiting, but not an affordable option for even the most low income families with a single disabled parent. I can't speak of the camp experience because it's only an option for families that can afford close to $200/week out of pocket. The most they can offer is more than half of a low income family's income. I hope people who donate thinking they're helping children attend see this.

This camp has unfortunately continued to go downhill year after year. The cost of the camp however continues to climb year after year. For the price you’re paying you expect the outcome to be nothing amazing. This summer however has been our worst experience yet. My daughter’s lunch is continuously getting stolen. The stories my children share with me about other children’s behavior is atrocious. Fighting, swearing, bullying and theft is not what I expected. The counselors can’t seem to keep things in order. I can only hope your children’s experience is better than mines. If give. The option and or opportunity perhaps it’s in your child’s best interest to experience elsewhere.

Campers "get lost" excessively and often. They have no business at my families house.

The memories of camp yomechas the way we would even play basketball, swim at the pool and even learn to canoe, and the C.I.T.s (counselors in training) oh man they made sure we had a fun time, even at rhe bonfire and we would sing rhe camp song even with native American music coming thru thag most peope couldn't hear except for a select few, please respect native American grounds, I even kissed a beautiful girl their at the kissing booth her and I even shared a slice of pizza at MMC club i even saved her and others from horse poop and mud that day on the bus when the bus almost went full muddle! Camp yomechas proud even those tye die shirts and those laughs and boxed but paper bagged lunches! MHS class of 2003! We rock Camp Yomechas! AND YES CAMP YOMECHAS YOU ROCK! even when those other campers and cits would try to come over and steal our canoes and paddle boards and even the girls and the food even on those sleepovers but hey we would all still respect the lake! I would post a throwback pic but hey that's why it's called Facebook! And a Kodak moment so sacred and special even my KK knows that! $0.25 / kiss hey I stole her heart even that day! But hey we all still told ghost stories but remember not all those that hear a ghost story that says they are fake truly believe in sipirits until theyve had their encounter even of the 3rd kind, just remember don't piss off the lake! Even in Maine at my cabin! I am yes native American but am also a good person that won't lie.

The grounds are so poorly maintained. Potholes are everywhere. When it rains there are pools of muddy stagnant water all over the grounds. Even where the kids gather at the main area. The pond is filled with trash including traffic cones. The only access road is a narrow road which is shared by incoming and exiting traffic. You have to drive off the road into the overgrown bushes leaving scratches all over your car

I went to camp you make us as a child. It was a lot of fun and I believe I would have made a lot of friends if not for my personal mental health issues. The only other thing I can say is ♪♪"Here at camp Yomechas you have to wear your sneakers, But not in the pool or you're breakin all the rules; So go Yomechas go go Yomechas go go Yomechas YEAH!"♪♪

I got lost and there was not a campers alert. The bathrooms were filthy and not clean. Smells disgusting and extremely unsanitary. Please do not waste lots of your money on this horrible camp.

Camp Yomechas located on Tispaquit Lake in Middleboro is a great hidden oasis for families of the Old Colony YMCA! Sign your child up for camp here and they are sure to have a great time!!! They offer 2 outdoor pools, recreational areas for sports, arts and crafts, horseback riding for an additional charge, and canoeing on the lake!

Wish counselors were more versed in child behavior and not so quick to call dcf. Also need to address bullying at their camp. Beware parents. If you have a child with behaviors staff may call dcf on you unless you tell them your personal business first

Kids loved it. Wish the counselors seemed more excited to be there though

When arriving to location I wasn't sure of what to expect. Went inside and was impressed by the area. Before and after pics. Professional Events Touch and etc. was able to transform the room in a few hours. Looking forward to having a family reunion there. Staff was very accommodating and patient. We had access to the kitchen area and also the hall.

Went for a walk. Not a soul around. Just parked the car wherever. Not really maintained during the winter. kind of junky off season. Tempted to squat for a bit in one of the cabins but no wifi. That's a deal breaker. It's nice of them to leave the property open though. My dog likes the smells, I think.

Beatiful views of Tispaquin Pond from under the shade of decades-old pines and oaks. The staff are very accommodating and were very competent in exceeding our needs.

Wonderful thank you so much for the Halloween drive-thru. That was the only candy that my grandchildren got. We did try to trick or treat because our grandchildren are only 3 an 5 and didn't understand and we're very upset when we tried to tell them there was not going to be any trick-or-treating this year because it was advertised all over the place trick-or-treating candy costumes so they couldn't understand why we were telling them they couldn't trick-or-treat. So we put on that costumes and went to houses of people we knew were giving out candy there was only 10 of them but they got to experience trick-or-treating along with camp humicus which they loved driving around holding their bags instead of walking. Thank you again for all the effort you put into making sure children were able to get trick-or-treat.

Had a fun Saturday at the Christmas Craft fair held on 11/9. It had a nice variety of vendors and the set up worked well.

Had a great time having a fall potluck line dance event here. Such a beautiful place!

Annual Church Picnic today for Central Congregational Church, Middleboro. Food, fun, games, music, pool, lake, canoes, paddle boards, kayaks, bouncy house and much much more. Fantastic spot!

Absolutely amazing! The staff are extremely kind and easy to talk to. The camp is beautiful and it lives up to all the 5 star reviews posted.

Brought my girlfriend's daughter there for the YMCAs special needs free swim. I walked around while she was swimming and it was really nice. Looks like you can rent the couple rv sites there. Not sure how it works but it was really maintained well. Nice little spot.

I went to day camp here as a kid so i thought it would be fun to take my kids camping for the weekend. We had such a great time the property is just as beautiful. We swam in the pools and kyaked in the lake and had a camp fire at night and cooked outside on the fire pit/grill they have at the sights. We got a tent sight and slept in our tent during a down pour (and stayed dry) . The woman who runs the camp Sharon is such a nice person, she goes above and beyond to ensure you make happy memories with your family. We will definitely return to do it again! Thank you Sharon...

A very supportive and freindly environment, so many different activities for children of all ages. Would recommend.

The fact that this place is located right next to Tispaquin Pond makes it the best campsite around. I may be bias, as a child I spent many summers swimming at my friends home on the other side of the pond.

my son goes to camp here during the summer and sometimes threw out school year with YMCA. He loves it! Always seems pretty clean and well maintained. It would be nice if they updated basketball court and baseball " field" they have!

I rented the Ramsay Lodge for a Bridal shower. I also brought our Church's youth group here for a weekend of camp. This camp is wonderful. There are so many activities available: basketball, beach volleyball, gaga pit, outdoor pool, lake, kayaks, canoes, tubing, ropes courses, archery, horseback riding. Lots of space for tent camping, lots of hookups for RV camping, and multiple (though basic) cabins. Bathrooms are in all the main buildings, but not cabin. Bath house has lots of sinks and toilets, only 2 showers on the back side. Pool house also has multiple bathrooms and showers. The staff is so friendly and incredibly helpful. They make your stay as great as possible and are so helpful with setup!

Thee were no mattresses so I had to sleep on a wood hard bed that gave me a splinter. The life guard women were very rude. Also they didn't allow us to swim or go into the water front till way after the expected time. I am never going there again
