I was there today for a new battery for my truck. While they were not able to install the battery because it required professional installation, they were extremely helpful. I was unable to carry the battery out to my truck, and carry the old one back in for my core deposit. Both gentleman there had no problem at all helping me! I know it is a large corporation, but they are also your small town auto parts store with everything you need.

Well I have been going to mostly this location for 16 years when I moved to Canton and find this location great. Have a good inventory and between this store and Randolph fulfill my needs. I have had some defective parts under the lifetime warrantee they exchange without a problem. Are they perfect? No. This place is no better or worse than most every other location and competitor. I give a heartfilled thanks to them for keeping our vehilces rolling. 5/31/2025 Still 5 stars please keep working hard as a team and we will keep beng part of the team as well!! Thanks AAP

Great place to get the essentials, the clerks are knowledgeable and friendly, but above all, they are respectful for those of us who do not know what we are doing. The prices seem fair for 2025, I mean really, can we ask for more? I'll keep coming here for my auto needs (and wants).

Very odd pricing discrepancies from ISP initial search engine results to the stores site and then on shelf list as well consistently.... aka you'll find a price showing on an item from the initial web search engine from AAP on a tile/tab. Clicking the link then goes to the vender hosted page where a higher price shows for the same (for online order/pick up) I decided from that discrepancy to go into a local brick and mortar and low & behold... A 3rd & yet again Higher tagged shelf price in store!! Perhaps it’s a search engine issue where the real-time current pricing info lags from store sales etc… although no idea why I’ve found the store site & in-store shelf pricing unilaterally Higher as the Norm from initial online results consistently as stated. But regardless just makes for a “bait & switch” feel to shopping here across platforms which is a routine route for more and more shoppers so get the ISP algorithms up to speed somehow please it’s a downer experience for real right now.

Today I visited the Advance Auto Parts Store at 549 Washington St Stoughton. I needed batteries for the car key fob and the the garage door openers. I am clueless as to what to buy or to even open the key fob. Enter Desiree to the Service Desk. Problems solved. 4 new batteries and specific instructions on how to install the batteries!! She was so helpful and most important Patient with me and my crazy questions. I left that store so happy. Desiree gets 5 STARS!!

I was in a dilemma as my battery had died and was delivering 17;Thanksgiving dinners to people in need. I stopped at this store and the first person I spoke to was Anthony. Told him my story and he simply said we will take care of you. Between him and Brendan I had a new battery installed in 5 minutes flat. All set and off on my way. I can't say enough about their service and professionalism. Thanks you two!!

I purchased wiper blade for my car and didn’t know how to install them correctly. I looked all over YouTube for my car make and model and couldn’t find anything. I stop by advanced and Steven at the register took it apart like a Lego and installed for me. Haven’t had good customer service in a while Thank you Steven.

Came out of work to a dead battery??♀️...used my cables for a jump, didn't work...waited an hour for roadside assistance...started driving and the electric power steering light came on right before I got on the highway, so I was tense for the whole ride... I could have gone straight home but would have had to deal with it in the morning...so I stopped at Advance Auto Parts in Stoughton to check the battery, and spoke with Richard M. Even though they were short staffed he happily helped me with my issue. I left the car running but he explained it needed to be off for diagnostic testing on the battery, starter and alternator. I was concerned it wouldn't crank up again, but he reassured me that he could get me started. The issue was the battery, which had to be replaced after only 8 months. I truly APPRECIATED his quick knowledgeable response and excellent customer service!

This is my first time at the Stoughton branch. Deon was helping me replaced battery that day. He was really welcoming, and extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

So sad to see this was not a one time thing. I went there for an air freshener something quick to grab I had to wait an awful amount of time to be ring up. There were only two people working but Kat C. Didn’t care. She was giving an extensive consult about car washing liquids to some costumers. Poor skills at prioritizing, I approach them to see if she could assist me really quick so she can go back to hold the costumer’s hand in choosing what car wash liquid to buy. I asked very politely if she could assist me while apologizing to the customers, I was confronted with a very snarky and rude attitude telling me to go back to the line and wait for my turn. While I was waiting Kat C. Decided to get on her phone on a personal call. Fantastic! I don’t think I will be coming back to this store, and the owner should definitely consider retraining their staff and evaluate them specifically Kat C.

Went in to get windshield washer fluid. Had my gift card. There was a guy outside scanning someones car. The elder gentleman asked if thats all and came up to register to ring me out. He was stocking something. As i was ringing out the guy who was scanning someones car came in and swore saying after he scanned the guys car he dropped and broke the screen on the scanner. Said well noone else is gonna get any scans. Was surprised he came in swearing about it and acted as if he scan tool was coming out if his pocket. Also surprised they only have 1. First time stopping in this store. Wont be back the prices where no listed on washer fluid no signs ect. I stick to the Bridgewater one that tells you price before you go to register and act more proffesional around customers. Hopefully the kid that dropped and broke the screen after the other customer left doesnt get docked in pay. Who knows maybe thats why he was ?

Didn’t have what I needed empty shelf went to auto zone I will shop but so many shops to choose from,prices matched !!! Update now can’t even have someone to answer a phone!

The Lady that works here looks miserable, who ever is running this place should consider retraining and revaluate staff. Horrible attitude.

I went to return an item that was the wrong item for my particular vehicle. One of the items was opened so I was not able to return it. The guy Steven who stated that he was the store manager gave me this whole irate explanation as to why he could not return the item to me. He asked to see my car and the turn signal and what not when he could have just said that per the return policy, they could not give me my money back. He raised his voice and claimed that anyone should have known that. I am a customer (not a mechanic). I come in there with the vehicle information that they asked me for, so they could find the correct part. The person who sold me the part sold me the WRONG PART!!! There was no light even similar to the one that he sold me on my car. He also sold me some bulb grease, which was not opened. When I asked for my money back for that, they guy Steven told me that he was not giving me my money back because he didn't like my tone. Like REALLY!!! You're not giving me my money back because you don't like MY TONE?? After the way you spoke to me first!! He was disrespectful, rude, and very unprofessional.

Be careful when they ring up your order. They grab these $1-$2 packets and ring them into your order without telling you! I personally prefer O’Reilly’s Down the street.

I asked the person working the counter if he knew where the jump boxes were and he sent me to the wrong aisle. When I did find the right area I brought a box up to him and asked him 3 times if this was a jump box and was it fully charged as I was stuck at a gas station with a dead battery. I bought it went back to the car and found I spent 145 dollars on a battery charger. His name was Efrain this was at the Stoughton store and I hope this company fires this incompetent fool.

The Manager on duty today 02/13/19 was not nice. I spent hundreds of dollars at this store. I bought 4 spark plugs with a socket from the store in Norwood. I found out that I need an extension not a socket. I went to closest advance Auto parts store in Stoughton. The manager refused to exchange a brand new socket with extension!! He said go back to Norwood and do it there. It's easier for me to go to Auto zone down the street and not deal with advance Auto parts any more.

Service last time I entered was good and the place had the car part I was looking for and it was only like a $5 purchase so I think Advance Auto Parts is a pretty good store for car needs.

Have tried a few other places, (even one just up the street from this place), and the staff here is just always so friendly and knowledgeable. I know when I come in here, even if they don't have what I'm looking for, they've always known enough to point me in the right direction!
