visit the south shore locations... like to look for the deals and the website has a filter and flow. ordered for pick up a few times with good results and was promptly contacted when an item checked out online wasn't on hand. In-store sections seem to be going through a reorganizing/shelving update (3/2026) which is usually a good sign someones paying attention but the staff report they're given little notice and tight windows to reorganize which lead to states of disarray in aisles during business hours on my runs insto several locations in my area.
Still encountering price discrepencies from initial Google/Safari result tile links with higher one$ showing on the AAPs host page when the links are clicked ...it's almost a given which is always aggrivating.
AAP needs to uncross wires with browsers an ensure ongoing current pricing is always shown.
Loaner tool program is just the right thing to do so credit and hand claps forever due for that BTW!!
Staff helpfulness and professionalism does vary loc. to loc. , shift to shift ha, guess that's an everywhere problem nowadays but be advised.
Customer service is a hit or miss and can be non-existent at this location. Came in to pickup an online order for some sparkplugs and the front cashier guy told me to just cancel the order because he couldn't find the part, rude and short, despite the website said they have the stock at this specific location. On other occasions, some employees are helpful and is a pleasant to deal with.
Two guys working one just look at you don't help don't talk when go pay he say I'm going to brake 6 people on the line take almost half hour to checkout
The district manager Leo was so very helpful on all levels. My son & I needed help with the drive belt had slipped off on the car.. Leo helped with it & got us on our way.. literally.. He was a savior that day. He wasn't expecting anything for his help. He also is passionate about giving his crew members the opportunity to learn & advance. My son & I was very thankful & grateful to stumble in on the day especially when Leo was working he really helped us out big time and informed us to reach out anytime we ever felt the need. !! The community needs more of this humbleness.
Advanced Auto Parts is my go-to store whenever I need anything from my car. I've worked in retail for most of my life at Saks Fifth Avenue and customer service is key when there is so much competition. Everyone there is so great even when you call on the phone I've spoken to Joanne and Darren and they were more than helpful to look for products for me. I have to give a big shout out to Rafael who really went above and beyond to help me with a very frustrating issue and even helped me to my car. I highly recommend them and I want to thank them again
Alternator was dying. I had to stay in the building for over an hour calling everyone I could. They showd be compassion and helped me as much as they could. I really appreciated them
The cashier jerry should be fired. He doesn’t care about his job nor does he even know how to do his job. He’s combative, rude, short with customers, un-knowledgeable when it comes to automotive needs. He makes this store un-usable and he should be removed from this store and company all together.
It wasn't busy at all , 3 guys behind the counter, the guy on the register was helping someone on the phone, the other 2 were pulling stock for orders , I think. So after about 6 long minutes and 2 other customers, they helped me.
(Randolph main st. Branch) Terrible customer service, on their phones and not helpful AT ALL!! Went to Auto Zone had the part available and customer service was wonderful. Do yourself a favor Stay away from this store!!
Very disappointed. I bought an alternator went bad in two months get an other one same brand (carquest ) i called and ask for a denso alternator the manager said he can only give one so he will give me discount for a denso Wich is a better brand. Guest what I found it at an other part store cheaper than your discount. So only reason why I don't give a one star is because the lady i talked to was very nice. And I'm also done going there.
Dave is a life saver! I went into his store with a broken headlight from a hit and run accident! He helped me with no hesitation! I had my three year old with me and his entertained him! Taught us so much knowledge about vehicles and gave my son some candy! Such a nice guy I promise if you go to this store you will not regret it! He has an awesome sense of humor and amazing personality! Do not HESITATE! I promise he will help you with anything you need. He saved me from being possibly stopped & made sure my son and I were safe. Be thankful he works here to each and everyone!! Again thank you Dave!
This place tend to operate at the mercy of the employees. Some days, some staff is helpful and moves customers in and out. Other days some employees hang in the back or outside and customers can't simply check out and create unnecessary lines. So it's a hit or miss.
I went there for help for my keys. Jarmal the store manager told me he wasn't allowed to take the batteries out but he helped me by showing me how. He was very helpful. He explained it to me clearly. If I could give him a 10 I would. He has very good customer service skills. 😊
I was sent to this store to pick up a part that no other advanced auto parts store had.this place is like a warehouse store.great people and good parts for a good price

Horrible customer service. Manager knows little.about parts even with the computer in front of him.
Won't admit when they're wrong and will argue with you when proven wrong. All employees outside at times working on cars. Horrible place. Never again.
I have consistently had excellent service with Advance Auto Parts staff. I particularly enjoy using the online coupons that I receive through email. Saves me on average 20% when I buy things online and pick them up at the store. I recently need it to buy a new battery and a staff member named Annie was exceptionally helpful courteous professional and did the job without complaining about anyting. My battery was in a very difficult place to get out and I must say GM made a lousy design when they put it where they did. But that did not deter Danny he dealt with the situation did it extremely efficiently presently and with a smile. It was true customer service as I was when I go to Advance Auto in Randolph.

Excellent 👍 the store was about to close and the very nice Manager help me to get Chevron Fuel Injector Cleaner. They were on sale so I bought 2 of them. 😁
The employees here are courteous and helpful. The manager is understanding and returns are easy if the parts don't fit. Online coupons take 20-25% off and are better than the nearby AutoZone - you're best off ordering online to pick up in store. Overall, this is a good Advance Auto location and is a valuable asset to car owners in Randolph.
I was looking for a break to which they did not have and they referred me to a nearby sister store that had the tools available for rent so they save me a lot of time and trying to find the tool and were very professional courteous and friendly will definitely go back!
Christina was very helpful and knew just what to do to fix my key fob. She was kind and professional for the first customer of the day. I appreciate her help.
The employee's there are friendly and very knowledgeable about cars. Everyone is willing to go out and take a look at your car no matter how cold is it. They installed wiper blades on my car free of charge and sent me on my way! Highly recommend this store location to anyone with car issues in the area
I live in Brockton where there are three advance auto parts stores and I still drive all the way to Randolph to visit this store. The people that work here are very knowledgeable and nice. By far one of the best advance auto parts around
