They never showed up and LIED to GEICO saying they were on site. When in fact I was on a merged call with GEICO and the owner of the shop my vehicle was at. If your company’s employees are lazy and don’t want to work, stop accepting the jobs you know you won’t show up to. I am 9 days postpartum and I need my vehicle to get to my appointments, which without my common sense in investigating the situation myself, vs accepting what RAPID told me over the phone and then to GEICO - could have caused a MAJOR issue. This company SUCKS. Thank heavens I can afford a private company to tow it! I only did it through the app because I didn’t have my bank card on me at the moment. They lied to me and said no one was on site(lie 1), I said this is a no contact pick up the key is in the visor, then he claims GEICO never told him that, then said a new truck is being sent, then in under 3 mins told GEICO it’s outside.. I’m on the phone with both and guess what? They never arrived the FIRST time let alone sent another truck.

Like others going through geico roadside assistance rapid response kept pushing back the ETA until hours later when I had to cancel the request because after over 3 hours of waiting they were a no show and the shop i was getting towed to is now closed

If I could give no stars I would since they never showed up. Went through them via geico roadside assistance as I had a flat tire. They kept pushing back the ETA time through the Geico app, I tried calling them over and over and they never picked up. I then called geico who were some how able to get through and they said the driver said he would be there “within 10min” (already 40 min past what they said the eta would be) They never showed up. I called geico agajn 20 min after the “within 10 min” and then geico couldn’t get through to them either. Had to cancel roadside assistance request and start over. I told Geico to asses who they contract with and put in formal request to have these clowns removed from their providers list. Joke of a company, shame pandemic didn’t put them out of business.

This towing company demonstrates a clear lack of due diligence when operating on private property. My vehicle was wrongfully towed from a parking space that has been assigned to me-and paid for monthly-for the past three years at my apartment complex. Despite having my car in their possession for only seven hours, I was charged $215 for its release. When asked, the company was unable to produce a required written tow authorization from the property owner or management. Their actions appear predatory and unprofessional, and raise serious concerns about the legitimacy of their practices. Photo of invoice attached. For reference I was sitting in their office waiting to get my car back at 7am. Paid to get it back by 8AM.

To add on from my recent review, the owner very clearly realized he wrongfully towed me and forced me to pay $215 to get it back (please refer to the screenshots of him searching & finding me on Facebook, then messaged me a backhanded "apology" in order to soothe his ego instead of righting the wrongs done to me). Note I had a valid parking placard on my dashboard, provided by the complex. They towed 12 cars in total at my complex alone that night - unclear who else was wronged but I am sure it was not just me. To reiterate, I've been paying for an assigned parking spot ($75/month) through my complex for 10 months, using a parking placard they provided. 5am on a work day discovered my car was missing. The non-emergency line told me it was towed but couldn't tell me why. Had to wait until 8am until this place was opened, Ubered there believing they would just release my car after learning they had wrongfully towed it. The workers were very rude to me and refused to give me my car. After finally getting ahold of someone with my apartment, they ensured me they would resolve it, as they agreed towing me was a mistake. Mark, the owner, proceeded to tell me I needed to pay him $215, despite my complex telling me they would not make me pay, then continued to call me "entitled" and that I was "playing the victim." I have never been treated so poorly by any business owner in my life. I ended up paying the $215 just so I could get my car, which I needed to get out of town for my grandmother's funeral the next day. Because the situation was so bizarre and both the tow company and my complex are CLEARLY in the wrong (both have told me they are aware of this, but neither will give me my money back, blaming a "policy" which doesn't exist, stating I need a parking sticker, however when I moved in I was provided a placard and was told they were no longer doing stickers), I assumed the complex would reimburse the tow fee at least. They aren't! But that is another story. $60.35 in Uber fees bouncing back and forth between work, tow company and apartment trying to figure out what was going on that day, had a cortisol hangover the next day leading to extreme nausea and vomiting, because of the extreme stress of both the towing company and my complex were gaslighting me, while trying to attend to work priorities (taking care of very sick children) and help set up my grandmother's funeral reception. The only conclusions I have include: 1. Rapid Response Towing and Mystic Place Apartments work together to unlawfully tow paying residents' cars, make them pay, then split the money. 2. Both Rapid Response Towing and Mystic Place Apartments are simply unprofessional businesses who both participate in gaslighting their customers, never admitting fault (in written form).

I’ve been parking in an assigned garage spot at my complex that I have been paying monthly for the last 10 months. I woke up at 5am on a work day to find my car was stolen. Discovered Rapid Response towed my car from my parking spot that I pay for (also known as stealing) then forced me to pay $215 to get my car back. The owner told me I was “playing the victim” and “entitled” because….well….I actually WAS a victim of this obvious scam they pulled on me. They claim I didn’t have a sticker, yet I had a parking placard which was provided by the complex that I have been using the last 10 months without issue. Scam artists.

They tried to tow my friends car and were literally stealth about it pulled up in 10 minutes I’m literally disabled and cant walk very far so we needed to park in place close ive parked here A MILLION TIMES NO ISSUES. then they charged us $60 even tho they didn’t even take the car because my friend chased them. Cant some girls get some yasai bruh.

Five stars for Daniel Sebastian! We hit a pothole in Boston and popped a tire. My roadside service dispatched Daniel. He came before the ETA and was such a kind and calming person. He brought us first to our hotel, helped us negotiate the luggage out of the car, and even sent me a picture of the car after he had dropped it at the mechanic. He also tolerated our bad Spanish and had a sweet sense of humor. Oh! And the company has proper trucks to tow an EV. All around great experience that turned a real bummer into feeling grateful for good people. Thank you, Daniel!

I had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Jose, a tow truck driver who went above and beyond during a stressful situation. I had a flat tire and was stranded on the side of the road, but Jose arrived quickly and made the entire experience so much easier. He was not only incredibly cautious and safe while handling my car, but his friendly and personable nature immediately put me at ease. It was clear that he genuinely cared about helping me and ensuring everything was taken care of with the utmost care and professionalism.

We had to wait 3 hrs from call- we called RR at 11:20am-told 12 noon pick up.12:20am rolls around, we call back, and are told 1:20pm, called back RR at 1:52pm, we are told the driver will call us back “shortly” is now 2:15pm! This is not the way to string ppl along RAPID RESPONSE! Totally unprofessional and your company clearly doesn’t care about the issue of someone (in the pouring rain!) needing to get their car to a repair shop and back to work. I’ll update if we wait even longer! Update: RR showed up at 3:00pm. The tie operator then needed my husband to help him back the car out! If this was not a covered service through Geiko, totally would not have used this company! RR tells customers false times to string them along. Your lateness made our day WORSE. I do not recommend this company.

I requested a tow today and was sent a text with a link which said the ETA was in an hour. That was around 2 pm. An hour later I was still waiting. I called multiple times and the phone just rang. I ended up canceling the tow (around 3:20 pm) via the same link I was sent. At 4:50 pm I received a call from the driver but I informed him that I had canceled the tow over an hour ago. He was pleasant and understanding. I’m not sure if the fault was his or dispatch. Either way I would never attempt to use this company again.

Thank you Matt for such good service and allowing me to ride in the haul truck. Matt was prompt, easy to speak to and was an excellent communicator ; he also took great care of my car as maybe if it was his own, I appreciate that!!!! It doesn’t get no better than this. Acquired the services through Geico as I needed a haul to my local dealer for a car repair. I had the time of my life, #1 towing company , EXPERTS FOR SURE!!!!! They are now my preferred! The service that I received was unmatched! Will be spreading the word!!!!!!!

Amazing service from Geo. I was astonished at how kind and careful he was with my 18 yr old car. The communication from them was very quick and clear and they showed up well before the estimated time. They fulfilled my requests for a flatbed and to take it to my mechanic with no trouble. Again, I can’t believe how careful Geo was, as if it was his own car. Thank you so much for helping with what was a difficult and stressful moment for me.

This is one of the worst experiences of my life. The driver got to the pick up location. He saw my car and then decided to drive away instead of calling me. I tried to get his attention, but instead, he drove away even faster when I finally got in contact with him and told him that I saw him drive away, he started yelling at me and calling me names. He tried to say that I put the wrong address even though I put the correct address and he repeated back the address to me and I saw him at the correct address. He tried to clean that I didn’t see him at that address. Headed to ask me what the color of his truck is and I told him instead of admitting that he was wrong he with the name-calling. I’m not gonna let anyone disrespect me. If you disrespect me I will disrespect you back. I do not recommend anyone using the service when I called the customer service to get help because he was treating me like trash. The crazy part is I was waiting for five hours and I didn’t call wants to go to argue or yell at them. Long is gonna take. They kept idiot lying to me. Saying he’s 20 minutes away and then three hours went by and then I saw him drive away. When he eventually came to to the car cause I found him. I walked around the building and saw him across the street at the wrong address. HE REFUSED TO TAKE MY CAR BECAUSE I FELT LIKE IT.

Today is August 8, 2023. My driver's side front tire went flat, I checked the tire and it had a puncture. I have Geico and placed a Roadside Assistance request through the Geico App. Geico sent out Rapid Response Towing Company from Medford, MA. The tow truck arrived to my location (Chelsea, MA) sooner than the estimated time frame! The tow truck driver, I believe his name was Alex or something close to that, was soooo nice!! He was very professional, very friendly and made me feel very comfortable! He towed my Acura to Mavis in Saugus, I live in Saugus so I took the ride with him and then I was picked up from there. We talked the entire time! He's one of those people that are just so likeable right away, are easy to talk to and make you feel at ease! He was such a nice guy that I just felt it was absolutely necessary to leave a review! I also want to mention that the tow truck looked pretty new and it was very clean inside and outside! So, if you are ever in need of a tow truck, I highly recommend calling Rapid Response Towing Company in Medford!

My tow truck driver Geo was amazing ! Gave me a accurate ETA and called 5 mins out to confirm. I had to change the shop it was going to and he was super patient. He made sure to be super careful with my vehicle which I appreciate as it is an a classic car. Not only was he professional he was extremely friendly. I will be requesting rapid recovery towing from now on and hope to get Geo again! Best towing experience I have ever had

Needed roadside assistance and a tow from Geico since the suspension in the rear of my car broke. Was given a ETA of 12:10am and they were called at 10:30pm. They never showed up and I was gonna leave my keys and car in a parking lot. Don’t recommend them at all, took forever and wasted my time waiting. So much for rapid response

If I could give a zero star I would! Highly unprofessional. Rapid response towing came to pick up my car around 1pm then sent me a text saying the delivery was completed to rate them to say how they do with the pick up and drop off. A representative from the shop the car was supposed to deliver to contacted me around 7pm and told me he has been waiting but the car did not get delivered, I contacted the towing company I spoke with Brian he said he will contact the driver to see what’s going on… then told me the driver said he got to the shop and the shop was closed he had to return with car. I asked to speak with a supervisor, he called me within 10 mn he gave a run around about how the shop was closed when the driver got there then he called me the B word and hung up in my face

The guy that helped me was amazing. My car did not start anymore and had someone from Geico coming out to take a look at it but said it was not the battery. Then I asked to have it towed and these guys came out and looked at it. They immediately knew it was a battery problem and saved me hundreds of bucks. Super friendly guy and super helpful. If I ever have issues again I sure as hell going to call them.

Rapid Response was great and very helpful when they arrived to my vehicle. The Service man loaded my Ford Flex on the truck very skillful and took pictures of the vehicle to document any pre-trip damages, I thought thar was very thorough. I felt my car was in good hands.

My insurance had requested them to come tow my car at 2 a.m when my car died. They made us wait an hour to add another hour when they were supposed to have been there already. For them to claim they are 24 hours they are lazy, unprofessional and they never answer their phone but they are open 24 hours. Had to order a reliable tow truck after waiting two hours for rapid response g/j towing and recovery came in ten minutes. They should change there name because rapid response is not something they do.

So they were meant to handle my jump with possible tow as the servicer for my road side assistance. 3 hours and 34 mins, plus 5 separate phone call conversations with repeated promise that the driver would call, NEVER EVER called or showed up. So 4 hours later I decided to find another company. No genuine concern or proactive effort to call with an update about anything. Don’t waste your time or your money. Can’t tell you how disgusted I am with how they handled themselves.

Geico sent these guys after I asked for roadside assistance for a disabled car, and they had Matt came out. He arrived a good 10 minutes early and gave me a call. Instead of towing the car right away, he checked the battery, took one look, and told me it's a battery issue. And it definitely was, he charged the battery and I was able to drive the car to a trusty car shop that told me the battery needs a replacement. Positive experience!

Engine gave out in my Subaru today. Called Rapid Response as I have always seen their trucks driving around Medford. Figured they would have a fast response time. When I called, the dispatcher asked me if I had called my roadside assistance first. I informed him I didn't have any but thanked him for Asking. Within 10 minutes I had a flatbed to my location and it was a very pleasant ride to the shop where I dropped my car off. I'd highly recommend Rapid Response. They were extremely professional and prompt. Can't ask for much more.

I needed to have my car towed to the repair shop, I'm a AARP road service client. I called and spoke to the receptionist for AARP, I then received a text message saying the driver would be there in about 1 hour ten minutes. I did read the review as was say OK, let see when they get here. The flatbed arrived within 30 minutes. The driver loaded on the car and off he went. I want to say i VERY happy with the service I received. They were here early, Cruz the tow truck driver was VERY polite and friendly. If I was every stranded and waiting for a tow I would not hesitate recommending them, and hopefully you will get Cruz as the driver so you know you'll be in good hands Thank you again
