We recently acquired a vintage 1983 Toyota Land Cruiser that--while it was in very good shape, required work to ensure that it was safe and would pass inspection. BDR took on this extensive project, communicated progess excellently and did a fabulous job getting the car up to standard. I highly recommend them!

BDR Automotive is absolutely my go-to repair shop around the Holliston area. They swapped out my clutch, and resurfaced my flywheel at a machine shop in the span of only 3 days. They gave me a loaner car for no extra charge also. Highly recommend this shop! Theyre fair, and they can tackle much more complex repairs, diesel and gas!
I have used BDR for 10 years on suspension related work. They are one of the few shops around who really understand lifted suspension set up and balancing.
BDR did an amazing job restoring the rear frame on my 2002 Land Cruiser. First, they are courteous and nice. Next they prep for the job with an inspection before they accept the work. And finally, the work was done perfectly and now TLC runs like an almost new vehicle. They are not an inexpensive auto repair shop but I feel like I got everything and more for a fair cost.
Edited: editing to two stars based on the owner’s response to my review. The book value for labor is apparently much different at BDR automotive than it is at a number of comparable shops in the area. I called around to different shops after paying for the brake pad and rotor replacement at BDR and was told by a number of different shops that I was overcharged by about 1.5 hours. This is still an exorbitant cost for pad and rotor replacement. Anyone thinking about getting work done at BDR should compare quotes from other highly respected shops in the area before moving forward with BDR. $750 for labor on pad and rotor replacement is almost unheard of. Simple job, takes a shop roughly one hour per axle. Most shops charge not more than 3 hours of labor at book value. Do your homework or be ripped off like I was. Buyer beware.
Three stars simply because the team was able to fit me in on short notice for a brake job. However, I was quoted 4 1/2 hours for a brake job, with the service advisor commenting that the front axle has a two hour book value and the rear axle has a 2 1/2 hour book value. As someone who frequently works on their own vehicles, this was an exorbitant estimate, and I ended up spending about $750 just for labor to install pads and rotors. I supplied the parts and asked when I picked up the vehicle if there was any difficulty removing the rotors or if it took an unusual amount of time, and was told that everything went smoothly. I did try to follow up with the shop directly through a survey, but unfortunately, no one has reached out to try to make it right. Although the quality of the work appears to be fine, I cannot recommend this shop due to the exorbitant labor costs.

We brought our car to BDR Automotive after receiving a shocking estimate for major repairs from another local shop. A friend recommended BDR, so we called and were told to come in right away for an inspection and estimate. When we arrived, they immediately provided a loaner car and even started warming it up for us—an unexpected and thoughtful touch.
Just a few hours later, we received an estimate that was half of what the other shop had quoted. Nichol communicated clearly and thoughtfully throughout the repair process, keeping us updated on timing and progress. During the inspection, they noted a few items that might need attention in the future. When I asked about having one of those addressed right away, I was honestly told it wasn’t necessary yet. Wow.
We will definitely continue using this shop and highly recommend them to others.

There are certainly repair shops closer to my house, but I chose BDR for their honesty and great work. I fully trust them with my car and appreciate the extremely friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend!

My 2014 GMC Sierra has significant frame damage from rust. They did an excellent analysis and provided excellent pictures that showed the extent of the damage. Offered a replacement option. Great to work with and kept me informed.
Great shop, came In to get my springs upgraded on my truck on Friday and had an appointment for Monday and got my vehicle back on Tuesday. Springs changed out an alignment and an oil change. I will be back.
Developed a problematic wheel speed sensor. I dropped in to find out approximate cost and when I could my car in for repair. I was given a complete price quote and an appointment for the following day if I wanted to proceed. I took the reservation and my car was repaired quickly and for the quoted price. BDR is the best!

I found BDR AUTO REPAIR to be very professional and honest. They immediately diagnosed the issue with my vehicle and promptly contacted me to let me know that the issue was far worse than I thought. This gave me the choice if it was worth spending more money than I planned for. This shows there honesty, as in the past with other auto repair shops just went ahead with the fix, forcing me to pay a lot more money than I wanted to put into the vehicle.
I would highly recommend BDR to everyone. They will treat you like your there only customer.

BDR is amazing. I took in my 44 yr old CJ5 that was not drivable and Brian brought this thing back to brilliance. The Jeep is now a daily driver and all due to the expertise of BDR. They did not cut any corners, made sure my vehicle was safe, functional and ready for me to take it away. Brian keep me informed the entire time on progress and made sure I was part of the process. I would recommend BDR to anyone for the big jobs and the small ones. It is rare to find an automotive shop this fair, honest and just willing to take care of you and your problems. BDR is by far the best shop in Massachusetts area for your Land Rover needs. My wife and I where traveling home from Maine when our wheel hub went out leaving us stranded on the interstate.
