I've been taking my 69 Chevelle SS to Greg for over 10 years. I even bring my other cars to him that aren't Classics. I tend to think I know a few things about cars. But you can tell Greg knows what he's doing and he does it without talking down to the customer or making the customer feel foolish for asking questions. He deserves accolades for getting the job done on time and within budget. And sometimes BELOW budget! Most times you feel like he's charged too little. And just to prove he's not all about the money. He's done many repairs without any fee and doesn't mind helping you find a part for the right price. He'll even give you an idea of what's wrong just so you can take a stab at repairing it yourself! I feel like, when you find someone that can repair your cars and do it so that you leave there always satisfied, you stay with it.
Greg should not even be working on vintage cars. He has zero knowledge, and breaks everything he touches. In the end, it will always be the owners fault. A specialist in Antique auto car's takes great pride in there work. He doesn't! I believe his moto is, drive your car in and push it out. Consumer beware.
Greg/Michael & Co. have done an exceptional job every time I’ve brought my car to them. They’re very skilled and have tackled every task I’ve asked of them and made my car run as good as it can. They are great people as well, they welcome you like one of their own and prove they care about the quality of work they provide. I don’t have a lot of faith in many mechanics due to my bad experiences in the past, but they have far exceeded what I’ve dealt with and I can trust them without hesistation. If you’re looking for service this is the place to go, there is no reason to look anywhere else.
We hired Greg to do a pre-purchase inspection on a 1979 Datsun for us, and not only did he get out to see in less than 2 days, but he also gave us incredibly thorough feedback and made it a no-brainer to buy the car. His communication and follow-through were beyond anything I would have hoped for, and his expertise and insight were invaluable to us. Highly recommended!
Greg and Mike spent considerable time adjusting the carb on my car, attempting to resolve an ongoing problem. While the results are still uncertain, they took time out of their work schedule and refused payment. Note that I am not a known customer.
