Im slowly getting better from a cold. Let my house for 20 minutes to stop by the post office and all my lights start going off. Stopped in and Carlos was quick and efficient of checking my car and getting a new battery installed within 30 minutes of walking in the door. I tried to tip him and he refused each time. If someone at this location could let me know what Carlos’ favorite desert or food is i want to bring a baked good or a gift card in for him. Thank you for going above and beyond.

Terrible experience at Auto Advanced in Holyoke. The staff was rude and even laughed at me in a mocking way. Very unprofessional—I would not recommend this place.

August 9 2025. Under the recommendation from my mechanic i went to advance auto on south street in the city of Holyoke ma. And my experience was not a good one. I order some parts and i got some the same day and was told to come back in the morning so my mechanic went to pick up the remaining parts they told him that they haven’t came in yet to come back the next day . So i called at 9am and the lady that answered the phone told me that the mechanic had pick up one piece of the order yesterday and theirs one more remaining and she said she can’t guarantee when it will be in . So i called my mechanic and asked him if he had picked anything up from advance and he told that he had not picked anything up so i went personally to advance auto and called the mechanic from the store because they kept insisting that he had picked it up when he didn’t . So i handed her my phone so she can speak to my mechanic and since they were speaking spanish i could not understand. So i was upset because i felt that i was being treated right so i returned everything and asked for my money back..what im trying to say is that they were very rude to me. And i will never go there again.

They should really take out that they check alternators just went to this location they took my alternator to the back and came back to me to tell me the machine isn’t working someone at there store must of broke the wire that connects to the alternator so that’s basically false advertising no good

I just HAVE to give a shout out to LEO who helped us! Our battery needed to be replaced and Leo spent a good 20 minutes struggling to get it installed correctly. (The car's clamp was not tightening properly.) It would have taken me all day. He was also a pleasure to work with. He totally earned this review!

Wemt in for correct size wiper blades the man at counter was very helpful and was able to get me a matching set without a Hassel and I've installed them and all looks well. He went out of his way to make sure I had something I'd want .

Enrique and Moses were an amazing help for me today. I was sold the wrong bulb in the Easthampton location for my Subaru and they quickly helped me find the right one and took care of me while the store was super busy. They were super cool and knowledgeable, I appreciate all the extra help they gave me so I didn’t have to struggle. I will be coming to this location from now on!

This is not my usual review. I needed some air filters for my car and gave the associate my car's, year, make, and model. This is my first time replacing these filters, so I wasn't sure what the filters should look like. When I got home, took the engine air filter cover off, and took out the old filter, I was irritated that after having given him the info, I had to return to the store, to have the filter replaced. He mumbled something about he should have asked for the engine size and did not apologize for the inconvenience. I only dropped it 1 star because he gave me some knowledge about my car, that I did NOT know, which immediately helped me. So, the wrong filter/return is a 1 star, but the knowledge he gave me compensates for the filter error. Thanks

No good service you have to way alot for some one to take care of you. And 4 employee and they ignored your customer service is poor I don't recommend this place 😞.

Chicopee messed up my online order, had to come to Holyoke which was out of my way but Enrique and the crew helped make things right, Chicopee lost a customer due to ignorance, now I will be coming here all the time.

Enrique is the man! A couple days ago I came in looking for a part and there was 15 people in store around 6:30pm(unusual for a Wednesday. He promptly assisted every customer while training the new hires. He is truly a god sent employee to this advance location.

Enrique was the best! I was having difficulty trying to find my certain windshield wipers for my Jetta and he found the right ones on the second try. He kept trying a way until I was satisfied and I was! His determination to figure something out for a customer is awesome. I appreciate his help and I highly recommend this place if you need help with any car parts.

Needed a battery so I bought a battery. They installed it and the gentleman who did the install was a great service representative. I didn't have cash on hand but I will return and make sure he knows what he did albeit his job, it was appreciated. Good staff overall and clean store.

I went to the Advance auto part to return a $6 air filter. Since I did not have the receipt Luis said that I couldn't return it and was very rude about it. Lydiana was very unfriendly and disrespectful. Lydiana said she had a filter missing and she didn't believe that i bought it there but stole it she said. I told her that i did not steal the filter. Lydiana is horrible at customer service. Lydiana needs to be fired for calling people a thief.I was shocked on the way she was so disrespectful. I will go back to Autozone and I will never recommend Advance auto parts again. Lydiana returned it after finding the transaction and threw my license down instead of handing it to me.. lydiana needs to find a new job.

You need to learn how to respect others they stole my money I spent $60 on something and I went to return it because it didn’t end up working and they only gave me a $25 gift card and I just wasted my money I wouldn’t where’s my time go to any other auto parts Napa and if you don’t know how to work then don’t work at all

Workers have good communication skills. They speak both in English and Spanish. And are knowledgeable. Prices are high and low depending on what you're looking for.

Horrible experience standing there for 20 mins and no service kept getting bump and when i asked for help on a pick up item one of the staff told me we'll get to you when we'll get to you, mean while another staff member who was on break attended someone else who just walked in. The staff nevered acknowledged me to tell me they'll be with me in a few instead they kept passing me back and attendinf other customers. Never again.

Went to get rear brake pads and was asked 3 times if I wanted front or rear. Ended up with front pads. Someone else was there complaining the pads he got were for a different year and someone called complaining about getting the wrong rotors. Staff weren't sure why so many customers were in a bad mood.
