I have mixed reviews about the location in a Holyoke Plaza. 80% of the staff is as advertised. Friendly, helpful and attentive. But there's this one guy who's customer service royally Sucks. You'll notice him immediately because as you seek service he insists on you greeting him personally. It's super annoying. They also always try to Up sell to the highest priced brand. My advice, Knowledge is Power people. Know the brand, the price range and if possible OEM number. P.S Big Ups to the manager at this location. He's absolutely Awesome at his job!
I would recommend this place a thousand times over! Mike and Gerry were incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. I’m beyond happy I chose to come here—the level of customer service I received was truly outstanding. A fantastic experience from start to finish!
Really tired of going here. The employees are very unprofessional, rude, and are always ignoring customers. I've been stuck with this location out of convenience, but with the increase of my business, it's no longer convenient for me to wait around while the workers finish their conversations with each other. Went to get a PCV Valve for an 05 Grand Cherokee 5.7 said they had it in stock didn’t even bother to check the back planogram kept insisting they only had those parts out front, when I know for a fact those are stocked in the back hard parts section. Lazy, lazy, lazy. Will not be returning to this AutoZone not the first time this has happened. Hire better people
Miguel was amazing! I had to visit an ill friend in Boston but I was having an issue with one of my tires. Miguel diagnosed and help solve my problem swiftly so I could get to my friend in Boston. He was patient, knowledgeable, and extremely kind. I can't recommend this AutoZone highly enough. And Miguel in particular.
Terrible!!! Went in to Holyoke Auto Zone for 2 quarts of oil. Was in line for over 5 minutes while clerk was talking to friends about car maintenance on his "second job" and completely ignoring me. I calmly put the 2 quarts of oil on a shelf and took my business elsewhere. As i was leaving another clerk was outside on break.
Fantastic experience! Super friendly and helpful staff and overall a fun vibe. Very refreshing to interact with people who are genuinely enjoying life while they’re at work. Got everything I needed and a discount as well.
I was in the Holyoke store on Northampton street, today 7/13/23. Though there are some good workers that were concern , there are other that do not care. While at the store they were playing loud music with foul language. You , the workers must acknowledge that there are people that go to church and elderlies that shop there and would find it very disturbing and disrespectful. I consider that this issue must indeed be approached as soon as possible.
I visited the store and a very hospitable lady the name Xiomara was the only one able to help me. I ask for help to buy some screws and nuts that fit my marking lights. She was so helpful that she was able to wait for me to exchange my light out and bring the exactly part. I went to the store today and she remembered me and came to say hello and offered her help. I m a major in Hospitality Tourism Management from UMass, Amherts, and this was an exemplary case to show to students how to be successful in the customer service area. Please give her hat off because people like her is what Auto-zone needs to keep loyal and new customers come back to that branch. I might only purchase few screw but she treated me as any good customer that was buying a lot. Doesn’t matter how much $$ you spend in the store but treat all customers nicely and help them in the store. I also, purchased another items that Xiomara recommended me. Thank you Xiomara for the great customer service that you provided me.
Was heading home to New Hampshire from a camping trip in New York and my check engine light came on. Geo helped us and was super friendly and knowledgeable! He knew exactly what the issue was and what to do! Thanks again! You helped tremendously and I hope Auto Zone knows what a great employee you are!!!
I’m in town on an interview and blew my upper radiator hose. Anthony was super perky and helpful with my headlamp. He got me just what I needed, and fast. Geo let me borrow his personal flashlight and umbrella to diagnose the problem! These guys are great. I had to stop what I was doing right away just to leave a comment and say how much I appreciated the help, in the dark, while it’s raining, and I’m from out of town. Xo
Unprofessional, Unhelpful, if I could give this store zero stars, I would. Came here looking for a rubbing compound to remove a minor scratch from the paint of my pickup but wasn't sure which product would work best. Instead of showing me, or helping me choose the right product, all employees simply told me to look in isle 3. The Manager was more worried about filling the coke cooler than helping me, or directing one of his employees to help me.
Thank you Alex!!!! My battery went to s&$@ so I had to find a place to get a battery ASAP and get it into my car. One phone call, and they were great about checking for the product needed and giving me estimates, but also gave me suggestions as to what else the problem might be (btw, it was definitely the battery). They told me to pop in, at 6:44, and they’d install the new battery for me, no worries. And it was a free install. AND - Alex was done before I even finished the survey online. I can take one item of stress of my list. This particular store really is great, I can’t express how comfortable I felt with their friendly crew. Thanks again!!!

Amanda from AUTO ZONE store 5146 IN HOLYOKE MA, is an amazing employee she’s always there for me and always goes the extra mile to get me whatever it is that I need for my vehicles. I went to this place to get some wind shield wipers and Jesus Olavarria helped me put them on and he was very kind and respectful. I’m glad he was able to assist me. Very good employee and good worker.
Amanda went above and beyond when I went in to purchase a battery. I was told at the car dealership that my Santa Fe had a bad battery and they couldn't do a diagnosis unless I bought a new battery first. Amanda did multiple tests on the battery and advised me that my battery wasn't bad. She could have sold me a battery, but she didn't, because she knew I didn't need one. She even took a picture of the test result for me.
Exceptional customer service ! I would recommend them to friends and family for any / all auto parts and advice needed.
They’re terrible. I would never shop there but they are close. They hardly have whatever you need and they’re are too busy talking to each other in Spanish to help. If you ask me they’d get 0 stars. They should either find new staff that cares. Or close the store and put in parts store that will actually help the customers . I mechanic and I buy a lot of the parts for a lot of the vehicles it’s been a lot of money there I will go all the way out of my way to a different AutoZone just so I don’t have a shop there.
Excellent, and knowledgeable staff. And each one very happy to help with any questions concerning products or alternative solutions. My go to shop here in The Valley.
Went in and needed lights for my honda accord .they were very helpful. So much so that they suggested the kind I should get and then put them in . Thats right put them in . I couldnt believe it just super. Great great service. The manager was very helpful as well. Tina is a true asset to the auto zone company. Also the lights were so much cheaper in price then anywhere else. And anywhere else I'd have to put them in and believe me I would not know the frist thing about how to do that. I was so happy.
