I'm not a professional scraper but I had a good pile of rotors and heavy steel that I have been saving in my garage from side work..I seen the bill boards for A+E metals so I figured Id give them a try, (I usually go to Mid-city) I had a great experience at A+E looks like a small operation, everybody there was friendly, it was quick and easy, (mid-city sometimes a huge line) got my cash and they gave me a complimentary box of black tee..I don't scrap often but I will deff go back!

I was in a crunch and had to empty a load of metal last minute to get a dumpster to another customer, they stayed open an extra few minutes to allow me to dump at their site. I'll always drive the extra 10 minutes to scrap with them from now on, not to mention their rates are better than anyone else's.

I went recently with a small mix of household scrap just to get rid of it all at once. I’m not in it for the $, but this is a great way to get rid of your metal the right way. The staff was friendly to me. The manager was giving out some advertising merch (keychains and …tea. Yes. I said tea) which was cool. I still have some ACs and various pipe to bring in next time. No complaints. I had a good experience.
Place is under new management. New owners are big hagglers. Don't take this wrong, they're just trying to get their feet under them. They need customers. So if you can help them out.

It really great to see because I had stopped going because I can sell my scrap to anyone I want to & treated properly There prices r great because I checked with other yards & it's easy current prices right on website Went back twice in one day give them a chance again !! Needed two 1 inch pipes and the yard man helped me pick them out. Everyone was helpful and I was able to find just what I needed. Good / local business for scrap metal .
