I've always taken my vehicles to the dealership for service, but I found out about Trustworthy Auto through a business promotion at a gym I go to and I thought "Why the heck not, let's try it." I scheduled my 2019 Lexus for service which was super easy (online appointment). I received a call from Jacob the day prior confirming the appointment and he spent a good amount of time talking to me about the Lexus, prior services I had done, and what they would do. I dropped the vehicle off and Jacob was friendly and ready to answer my questions. A little while later I received a link to a DETAILED (and I mean DETAILED) summary of the car, what they found (or didn't), and recommended repairs. I was not expecting that level of detail, complete with multiple photos. Brandon then called me and spent time explaining the report and what they would recommend. He was super friendly/knowledgeable, and I could tell they cared about being transparent and factual. I received the car back later that day and immediately felt a difference in drive quality! Trustworthy Auto will handle all of my car servicing from now on...facts!

Trustworthy is right! I brought my car in because it sprang an oil leak, I changed the oil thinking it was just a hole in the oil filter or perhaps a missed o-ring. For peace of mind, I brought my car in to be looked at to avoid further damage in case the oil leak was from elsewhere. Brenden was my service advisor and he did a fantastic job! I had no appointment but when I walked in he got all of it straightened out They didn’t have an opening for a few days but said I could leave my car there in case a spot opened up. I ended up having my car back before the appointment, They were very thorough they ran a leak assessment and sent a link to my phone that provided a full inspection of my vehicle and all of the fluids. They recommended a service on my brake fluid, which was supposedly flushed and replaced by a family friend when I had all of my brakes done just a few months ago. When I saw the photos they provided it was clear the brake fluid was never flushed and was probably just topped off. I paid a fair price, felt prioritized as a customer, and feel that trustworthy is a very fitting business name. I will be continuing my service here and recommending it to others. I appreciate the transparency being a young woman, many shops will jump at the chance to upsell you. They could have easily told me my car was still leaking, but instead, they were honest and they even printed me a new oil change sticker and cleaned the undercarriage of my car! Very genuine people!

First time customer. Trustworthy was easy to do business with, including fully online scheduling, inspection review, estimates, work approval, and real-time communication. The team was friendly, transparent, and gave me the information I needed when I needed it. They went above and beyond in trying to sort out my after-market alarm, even though they do not service them, and I wasn't even aware the car had an alarm after 17 years of ownership. Great first interaction, and I'll gladly return.

All the guys that work there are so nice. They also gave me a ride after dropping off my car. They honored a warranty issue I had so that was awesome. But I would like to see on my estimates a breakdown of part costs and labor.

My older son had a car problem early in the morning. My youngest son, Kyle (who is now employed by Trustworthy) directed him there where he got quick service to resolve his problem and he was on his way to work. A wrong diagnostic was assessed on a Subaru Legacy, a set of not needed parts were replaced and after a $1300 charge the car left the shop with the same problem. I was referred by a friend and as a new customer that was my personal experience with this shop. Other customers may share customer satisfaction.

Honestly, these guys are great. I've unfortunately had to show up to their garage a fair bit in the last couple months because our vehicles have been cranky and these folks have always been accommodating. Beyond the trappings of good customer service the real key to a good garage is communication. Trustworthy has always been very direct and clear about what they're seeing, what our options are, and what timelines we're looking at. Even when I have questions about why certain options are on the table they have answers. I appreciate that level of transparency, and that keeps me coming back.

I felt very taken care of! They were quick, transparent, and provided me with an entire webpage detailing everything they checked and performed, as well as information about anything that might need to be dealt with in the future (including how long I had before I need to start worrying about brakes, tires, etc). Also called and made sure I was okay with the cost of ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING before performing any service, including diagnostic testing. Got my subie back after control arm replacement, and it handles like an absolute dream! I will definitely be returning for future repairs, and would highly recommend to others.

I would definitely not recommend doing business with trustworthy auto. We spoke over the phone and everything sounded professional, they recommended that I use the tow company that they do business with. Shortly after they had my car they called saying they did a diagnosis and found the problem which was causing the misfire and that it was a gasket on the injector for cylinder 5. They stated that between the tow (3 miles), the diagnoses and the gasket it will be about 800$. I told them ok that it’s fine to continue and replace the gasket. They called me the next day and said everything is fine there is no check engine light and the car runs the way it should with no misfires. I called another tow company after realizing the tow company they recommended billed me 220$ for a 3 mile tow. Once I received the car I started it and it ran exactly like it did when I sent it to trustworthy auto. It had the same exact codes and the same misfires. I called them back and explained and he suggested I tow it back to them and have them look at it again and possibly change the injector which at that point I would be paying twice the labor in hopes that they can actually fix it the second time. They notified me that part of there program for already being a customer is receiving a 125$ credit towards there recommended tow company ( which you need because of how over priced they are ). When I asked what they can do to try to work with me considering what just happened they made it seem like the 125$ credit was there way of compensating. In my experience with trustworthy auto it was a waste of my time and money.

They talk a great game! They know about vehicles for sure! But when it comes to trustworthy, … absolutely not! We had over $2000 worth of work done on the vehicle including O2 sensor, valve cover gasket, etc. My daughter went to pick up the car drove it 13 miles and all the lights came on all over again! It would not go over 2000 RPMs again! She drove it back and had to rent a car again. Two days later he said they couldn’t make that happen again. They came back with that we had to put another $1500 worth of work into it, the catalytic converter. However, I was told it’ll drive fine and that it was safe. My daughter went to pick it up for a second time, just started it and the check engine light came right on! This was a horrible experience! I would not recommend them at all! And I have had several vehicles.

Ive been to many mechanic shops and by far Trust worthy Auto is the best one yet. They did a thorough inspection of my car and provided me with the best care. There isnt any other shop i would trust with my vehicle! Danny M did an amazing job at fixing my wheel bearing, brakes & rotors all in one day. He is an AMAZING mechanic! I will definitely be back!

Trustworthy Auto was one of the better mechanic shops I have been to in quite some time. They were able to diagnose and fix a bad wheel bearing in addition to doing my rear brakes and rotors all in one day. Danny did a great job at fixing the vehicle and Brandon at the front desk was very upfront about the cost and ran through any other issues he saw while looking at the car. There pre repair diagnosis was also great by giving me an idea of the current state of the vehicle before we began repairs. Overall this was a great experience and will be returning.

I have been so completely satisfied/happy with the service I have received at Trustworthy. They are thorough with their initial inspection and completely transparent with their pricing with no strongarm tactics. They let you know their recommendations and then allow you to pick and choose the services that you are comfortable with. I also love that they have online access for scheduling and payments. No longer wanted to use my dealership for car service so I searched for mechanics who work on Range Rovers (not many if not any at all in the Rhode Island area) and found Trustworthy Auto. I initially spoke with Jacob who was a complete delight and super informative. I then spoke with Brandon who was just as knowledgeable and kind. They provided me with pictures and detailed explanations of any issues with the vehicle and an itemized quote. After my car was fixed, I had a super small noise issue but they quickly corrected this within one day and gave me a complimentary car wash for the inconvenience. Would totally recommend this shop moving forward. Most certainly bringing my car back here for the next service. Thanks guys!

I dropped off my truck for trustworthy to replace my transmission, balance and rotated my tires, adjust my alignment, perform an oil change and engine clean, and replace brake fluid. I had my truck back the next week. They didn’t try to sell me extra stuff and even recommended to not do a certain service due to it not being current. Brandon was very helpful and answered any questions I had. They are truly trustworthy and have gained a customer for life
