I purchased a set of spark plug wires for my 2021 Honda Civic EX-L from this company using their mobile app. The app told me that it would fit my car and I’ve never changed them on my car, as it’s fairly new and I found out after looking up how to change them on YouTube that my car doesn’t even have spark plug wires (Instead, it has 4 individual Cole packs). So, obviously I wasn’t even able to attempt to install them. I went this store to return them, as I’ve been to this store numerous times, to purchase my car parts and was told my the store manager that he couldn’t take them back. His reason was he couldn’t tell if they were from there store because apparently, “there’s have AC Delco on the side of the wires” and apparently mine didn’t and I reminded him that it literally says AC Delco on the box, so I’m not sure what he’s exactly saying and he also added that he doesn’t have take them back and told me that it even states it on the door of the store. He had a very disrespectful tone and gave me a very rude look. I called customer service and spoke with a representative, which literally put me on hold and called to speak with this store manager, which lied. He told the representative that apparently I was trying to bring back a part that wasn’t from the store and just to make sure, in case he was wrong (which, he obviously was), he told a second lie and stated that it was damaged. Jokes on him, I’m sending it back to Advance auto using a pre-paid label, where the truth will come out and he look like the liar he is. Karma is fun….

I purchased windshield wipers 2 weeks ago. Put them on by myself. Worked perfectly fine. A week later I go to lift the windshield wipers up my driver side completely snaps. I drive over to the store and the associate there named Ian helped me find the right wiper as well as process a return and then when I asked him for help to put the windshield wiper on he did not hesitate at all.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Gave me some good ideas for fixing a problem I've been chasing. 10 out of 10, "the lion king would have turned out very different if simba was a car instead of a lion..." - Wernher von Braun (maybe)

A huge THANK YOU to Darius! I came in last night 20 mins before closing, as my battery had died twice and it was a torrential downpour out. He was super sweet snd helpful, staying a half hour after closing to change out my battery. After stopping first at similar business just down the road, where they had no idea how to check the power in my battery, so sent me on, Darius knew exactly what he was doing. I so appreciate his friendly demeanor and willingness to help. I will definitely return in the future.

I come here for all my parts and have recently bought a battery from them. My terminal was loose and I was worried the car would die while driving.. Matthew, who has helped me in the past, was so kind and helpful. Came out immediately and tightened my positive terminal. He didn't have to and I appreciate that he did. I will continue to shop here not just because I prefer AAP, but because I enjoy their service and how they treat every customer like a priority instead of a $ sign. Thank you for helping me when I really needed it today!

The alternator given was the wrong size, or incompatible with my car despite their site and techs telling me that it was. Making me have to deal with the dealership. They were at least able to return it, albeit with a percent dollar hit for "using" it. Also, the techs were unable to test the old one, making me have to go to a competitor.

The guy at the counter is extremely rude! No Greeting when you walk up to the counter. He just stares at you like you’re bothering him.

Very helpful. They changed the battery on my wife's key fab and only charged me for the battery.

This place is excellent. Staff are so nice and assist you right away. They have everything you can think of I believe when it comes to auto parts and prices are excellent. Highly recommend

Had what I wanted, but only had 1, needed 2, did check other stores for me. Did offer help to make sure I was buying the right thing it fit.

John in the Commercial Department (and frequently up front in retail) is the best Advanced employee around. He knows his stuff, he knows the trade, he understands how things go and asks additional questions about your specific job not to upsell parts, but to make sure you have everything you need the first truck delivery.

They sell me sway bar bushings for a Camry 09. Get home open the box and there’s a use part in it. Went back and the manager accused me of doing that. It’s obvious the manager accepts the parts back without checking, put it back on the on inventory and con people like me. They have lost my business forever.

The absolute worst. I never write reviews but this location has the worst service of any store I have been to in years. The two gentlemen stood behind the counter and don’t engage and show no willingness to help. I will be taking my business elsewhere. This store needs to get its act together!

They had what I needed, fair price, very fast service, very knowledgeable staff assisting me. Funny, while I was in the parking lot, the alarm started blaring … It was this loud distraction, and he jumped right to it and help me out anyhow. They have done their best to not honor the warranty on a battery I bought there 3 months ago. I understand that the counter help have little to no mechanical knowledge and must follow advanced auto parts procedure. However even with the AAA diagnostic read out (which the counter help said he couldn't make heads or tails of) stating the battery needs to be replaced. They keep saying there isn't anything wrong with the battery. So I'm at home now after having the battery jumped again through AAA as the battery charger at advanced was unable to jump my battery as advanced autos wasn't in working order. Trying to come up with the money to purchase a new battery through AAA as they will install and warranty it for 6 years and I trust that if I go this route that it will be installed properly. I am less than happy with the service and help received there as they were the ones who installed the battery I'm now having issue with and installed it inappropriately according to the tech from AAA. DON'T trust that because they work with parts that they know what they need to in order to help you as a customer.

Older gentlemen at the counter was extremely rude and short with multiple customer including me. Absolutely no willingness to help find parts or assist.

Got a alternator was no good ended up putting my van in the shop anyway was not happy happy after doing all the work myself just to find out the part was nogood

What self-respecting auto parts store closes at 7PM? Even in nowhere, WV, they are open until 10PM. I'd give ya'll more business if you were open when I can shop for parts. No issues otherwise.

I think Advanced Auto Parts is the best when it comes to new parts! The guys at this location were great, especially the other day when they really went out of the way to help me by doing a return they really didn't have to!

Great store. Online ordering always ends up cheaper than buying in store. We have fixed up three cars recently and bought all the parts here. Good options for tool rentals as well.
