I bought a hard-to-find certified pre-owned X3 M40 from Berkshire BMW, paying their full price and flying from DC to test drive it. They shipped it to me but it arrived with a bad rattle. I reached out to them to see about having it repaired under warranty at a dealer near me but they refused to help, literally telling me that if they repaired all rattles they'd be out of business. I then contacted BMW of N. America customer service who told me the problem should never have been handled as it was and reimbursed me for the repair. Buy from this dealer only if you're certain you'll never need them to fix a problem. My experience proves they can't be trusted.
Subsequent to posting this review I received outreach from Berkshire BMW attempting to smooth things over. They ended up giving us a modest restaurant gift certificate. While I appreciate the gesture of goodwill it is a pittance in the scheme of effort it took to get even that level of recognition of the poor service I had received. I wish future Berkshire BMW customers a better experience than mine.

Just bought a used vehicle from here 1 month ago and had to bring the truck back numerous times for things that they missed when they supposedly “went through it”. There are still problems with the truck that still haven’t gotten fixed. They also were supposed to do a ceramic coat on the truck which never got done. So I paid extra money for absolutely nothing. I would not suggest to go to this dealership.
Got into a bad accident lost my car had a rental for more than a month desperately seeking for a good car at a reasonable price knowing what i wanted how much i could afford i began to look in Ct went to several dealers spent countless hrs only to have to walk away cause it wasn’t about me or my needs it was more about what they could push out the door, starting asking around for a good honest dealer and was directed to Berkshire BMW and let me tell you this being my third car from a dealer the experience was the best one ever from the beautiful drive out there to the wait time less than an hour and a half but most of all how loving and caring every individual through the process was, i went in looked at the suv and did the paperwork and then went home and they even delivered my car to me with registration and plates ready to go the next day so people if your looking for an honest upfront decent deal this is the place to go, go see their amazing sales man Miguel Rosado and then continue down the line through the process you will not regret it!!! Five star experience from reaching out to online sales to the purchase of the vehicle. Had a nail in my tire. Just needed to be removed and plugged. The manager said he was all full today and couldn’t give me a time to take care of it. Basically telling me that if you wait around all day we may be able to get you in. This is a 10-15 minute job which was an emergency as I was losing air at a rapid rate. I’ve been a BMW customer for over 25 years. Apparently that does not matter to this dealership. Terrible customer service. Don’t buy your car from this dealership!
Personally, not the best car buying experience I've ever had.
We purchased a car from out of state. Received the vehicle Friday and as of Monday AM, still do not have the title in hand to register - was told it was being overnighted. No current ETA on receiving. Nothing like getting a new car that you can't drive.
We tried hard on our side to do everything in a timely manner, so disappointed that the extra step wasn't taken.
Also, the detail job leaves something to be desired.
Realize the dealership isn't getting "follow up" business from us being out of state, but expect more from from a BMW dealership.

My experience with Berkshire BMW has been great. I initiated e quotes with several BMW dealerships, but Samantha at Berkshire was by far the best. She was responsive, professional and friendly and provided out the door proposals via email for the car I was interested in. Zach was easy to work with via email and great at offering a fair price. There was NO pressure or bullying unlike other dealerships. So I scheduled a test drive with Collin Flynn. He was a real pleasure to work with and also did the tech training. Long story short, we ended up asking to see another vehicle we saw on the lot and bought it. Because we weren't pressured we felt relaxed enough to ask to see a different vehicle that cost more. It's an i4 and we love it! Everyone there was extremely welcoming with me and my partner and no one hovered or pressured us. Chris was great with facilitating the paperwork. He explained the additional options (warranty, security, etc.) and we made the decisions that were best for us, again without any undue pressure.
I was absolutely dreading having to go to a dealership and buy a new car when my 12-year-old hybrid died. Berkshire BMW made it easy and an enjoyable experience. We really enjoyed meeting everyone. We will go there for service even though there's another dealer closer and we would/will definitely buy from them again.

I live 2 plus hours from the dealership and he offered to arrange for a driver to pick me up at my house on delivery day. Ultimately, it wasn’t necessary but everyone involved was great. What a great experience. The dealership is about an hour and a half from my home but the drive was well worth it.The sales professional, Collin, was extremely knowledgeable and not pushy at all. I had the best experience at Berkshire BMW! Laura is an amazing salesperson and she took on the massive task of helping me to trade in four cars at once! I also live 2 hours away from the dealer. The amount of effort that this team put it was amazing. I work in the automotive industry and I do have higher expectations than most when it comes to purchasing.
