Horrible service! Stood in line with an arm full of products and the employee decided to go to lunch and leave me hanging while the other employee was tied up with another customer. I was tired of waiting and left. Decided to give my money to AutoZone where they actually acknowledge the customer.

This is the only store that has employees that act like you owe them something or you need to hold their hands to do their jobs. Daytime staff is not too bad, night staff act like the owner of the company.

Never in my life will I do an online order return from this company! I recently purchased an item on line, within 5 mins of opening my purchase, I realized it wasn’t what I needed? I took the item back to the store in it’s original box, with packaging, in product still in tack, approached the cashier he explained to me they are unable to refund any electronics, I immediately asked for a manager, he explained that the cashier was in fact right they do not do refunds on electronics, I explained to him while showing him I haven’t even removed the product out the box, it still had its bread ties, in plastic on the merchandise. He was nice enough to do a refund for the return, explaining to me it could take up to 10 days for a refund, 3 days still no refund, my bank never make me wait no longer than 3 days for a refund, but as I’m viewing my receipt I noticed that the last digits on my receipt didn’t match my card, but it also stated GIFT CARD, back to the store I go, spoke with the same Manager he explained because it was an online order, he doesn’t handle any issues with the processing of the refund. Today I stay on the phone for an hour for the 1800 giving on the receipt. Finally I spoke to one on the call she explains to me a refund is given on a gift card, but if your bank disputes it for any reason it will kick back, why wouldn’t my bank dispute a refund on a gift card?? They have nothing to do with a gift card, she then explains she can mail me a check that can take up to 20 days to receive?! Are u serious???? Bad business, beware customers make sure your purchasing the correct product you intended, no REFUND on Electronics, if refund is given goes on a gift card, u have no knowledge of, wasn’t given!! Then told to wait up to 20 days to get a check in the mail!! I am furious!!! I had to share again, buyer beware!

I used to have great service there but lately it's been horribly, you have to wait in line forever because the young lady is so slow. When you need help with something she gives the wrong information, for instance I need windshield wipers and she gave me two rights so had to come back and exchange. then I went back another time to get a car battery and had to remind her of the core charge and she was sooo rude and ignorant. I work as a CSR and would never treat anyone of my customers the way she does.

We are on a long RV trip! Live in Colorado. Started our RV on a Sprinter chassis and the check engine light came on. I checked fluids and for leaks. All normal. Full maintenance completed before this 5,000+ mile trip! We were a few miles from the Barnstable, MA Advance Auto Parts. Went in and asked the young gal at the parts desk about using an OBD (on board diagnostic). She readily cane our to the RV, ran it, and found the issue! Fortunately, it was minor! “Mass Air Flow Sensor”. She said they don’t have one, but often using the proper cleaner will work (which they had)! I bought it ($12.99) and followed the instructions. Back on the road! I believe her name was “Nichole”. Thank you Advance Auto Parts for this great, FREE, service! Also, big thanks to Nichole (if that was her name)!!

I stopped by Advance Auto Parts recently because I was having issues with my brakes. and I have to say Alton was amazing😊 He took time to explain the different brake pad options and helped me find the exact parts i needed , and gave me tips on how to install them. Great experience overall thank you Alton!

I would give zero stars if I could, the service to be terrible has to improve, 30 minutes waiting to pay for 2 miserable products, and still not being able to make the payment, 2 people at the cashier winding up to serve and another man wandering around the store who does nothing, my God that's why physical stores will cease to exist, lazy people.

On May 23, 2025 at approximately 5:30 p.m. I needed a new 12v battery for my 2016 Chevy Volt. I was on the road and had no tools. My old battery had literally failed and would not hold a charge and needed to be repaced immediately. I stopped at the Advantage store in Hyannis Ma and bought a new battery. I asked the store clerk, who I believe said his name was Phil, if he could install it for me. It turned out to be more complicated than I ever thought. Phil patiently and persistently figured out what had to be done and did it. It must have taken him a half hour to switch the batteries. My wife and I are very appreciative for his very high level of customer service.

Every time I visit Advance Auto in Hyannis the staff has been outstanding. They AIWAYS GO ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me. This is a GREAT PLACE!

Worst experience ever. I get in to buy tools to change my oil. It’s on the top shelf so I ask for assistance. The lady at the counter says “well go find a ladder, isn’t there one over there” makes me go grab the ladder that clearly says “for team member use only” I grab what I need from the top shelves. I come back to the register, she can’t find the price tag so she tells me to go find the code for the item. Excuse me mam, your the one on the clock with no one else in the store to assist. I ask her why she can’t do it so she sighs and goes to see the price. Then double charges me for the rhino ramps. Thankfully I noticed and had her credit me my money back and all she says “well there’s 2 ramps” and I said “yeah they come together, who buys a single ramp?” Then she says “well how am I suppose to know, I don’t sell these things?” that really the best help you guys can get?

Walked into the store for parts. Waited for about 4 minutes. The employee was in one of the isles but ignored the chime of the door. Finally another worker that was out back helped me. When I asked for the manager the girl that ignored me began to scream at me. She gave me a fake name "Alice". The employee that did help me was very helpful and polite. Management should watch the cameras. I've been a customer for over 15 years as a mobile mechanic. I'm all done with this company.

I came in this morning to get a new battery, somebody changed my battery and I left the store, the battery In my car stopped working immediately after I turned the car off while I was nowhere near my house. I called triple A and the mechanic said that the battery was installed incorrectly and simply not tightened in the car. Overall pretty disappointed with my experience here.

Spoke with an employee about the part that I needed and even though he didn't have it in stock, he got it within an hour and put it aside for me to pick up. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I would go back there.

After trying two other places to have my battery tested and eventually replaced, we finally got service here (the other places were low staffed and said they couldn't do it). Randy L. went above and beyond to help us take care of everything and make sure we could get back on the road safely.

I needed replacement windshield wiper blades. I’m not exactly helpless on mechanical things but I am inexperienced in this department. The young man behind the counter offered to install the blades for me and did so in the rain! I will never shop for auto products anywhere else than Advance. Grateful!

When I arrived at the store there was nobody on the floor or behind the registers. I heard someone outback, I was in there looking around for almost 10min, nobody came out. They also didn't have what I was looking for. I'm not sure if the worker actually knew someone was in the store.

First of all, the Sandwich Advanced auto help me out where the one in Hyannis did not know what they were doing and Sandwich did a complicated return of the product and had my money buy a new 1 that was correct and I was very happy with the excellent service, everyone was friendly. They were training someone which was valuable... I then went to Hyannis and they did not have a part they said they would , so I got my money back that paid for the part , went to Sandwich and bought the correct part and I'm even happier.! Thank God for professionals in Sandwich..😁

Hit or miss. Depends who's working. One kid tried telling me that a part for my truck doesn't exist (then showed it to him and he had no idea what it was or how to find it). Just a circuit breaker. 40$ part. Another kid is a complete dick to his manager. And they seem to never have anything in stock (minus basic maintenance things). The manager is a good guy though. Seems like they hire whoever they can get instead of people with ligit automotive knowledge. Idk overall I'd try other places first

Me and my bf we usually come here because it's nearby ours house. They're not friendly and welcoming you like autozone does. My bf went in today and bring some old oil w him to dump it, ok I agree that's ours fault when we're not told the guy at the front desk first before my bf when into the back of the shop, but I overheard that guy talk to other guy work there and calling my bf is an A**hole . Seriously? My bf doesn't know that he should tell the guy first but he already said sorry cuz he doesn't know. And that guy calling my Bf a**hole? Since when u don't know something and already said sorry still makes u an a**hole????!! We come here for business , not for those impolite attitude.

Good place if you know what you need. Great for cleaners, chemicals, accessories, batteries, blades, etc. Staff is friendly and helpful, but if I need hard parts I'll probably shop where they're more knowledgeable.
